Category: Greek and Mediterranean [Edit]
16556 NE 74th StreetUtterly mediocre. Service was slow and unfriendly. Food was not bad, but not good either. Pretty mediocre.
I am working out here in the Redmond Town Center right now and this is a great lunch spot. It would not be a great dinner spot, at least not for me. It is very clean and simple. It is not fancy at all. Everything seems very well organized and the food comes out looking fresh.
I have had the gyro sandwich, gyro plate (rice/salad) and chicken plate. The chicken plate is a very healthy option.
Overall: excellent lunch spot
I haven't tried the Baklava but it looks tastey. Really cute Turkish gal works the counter for lunch - if you are in to really cute turkis gals.
Several friends and I tried Pasha Grill today. I had the gyro salad and my friends each had the gyro sandwich. After consuming our orders, we all came to the same conclusion: BLAND. We're not garlic junkies and this stuff was still bland.
The salad was barely more than iceberg lettuce. The vinaigrette was the strongest tasting thing on my plate and it helped. But it still left me wanting.
On our visit, the dining room was clearly infiltrated by fresh cigarette smoke. No customers were smoking. We speculated that maybe the cook was smoking in the storage room or just outside the back door with the door wide open. We elected to finish our meal outside.
Pasha Grill had seemingly high quality meat, but they can execute their meal offerings better. Every gyro I've ever had elsewhere has had substantially more flavor than Pasha Grill's version. They need to crank up the flavor. They also need to do something with their salad. Surely they can do better than iceberg lettuce with a teasing of feta. That's not a Greek salad by any stretch. Not filling the place with cigarette smoke would be nice as well.
Overall: Decent home-made baklava
We came to Pasha Grill to try their Baklava. I was unsure looking into the place whether or not I wanted to try it. However on inspecting the tray, I was gladly surprised. The baklava was $3.50 for two decent pieces. I'm pretty sure it was home-made and was swimming in a thin-ish syrup. The nut filling was a bit lacking and overall it wasn't as buttery/nutty/honey-ish as I would like... but delicious nonetheless.
Yesterday we revisited and had lunch here. The Gyros plate was ok-ish, the meat was a tad salty, the salad a tad sharp, but in general it was nothing spectacular. The Mediterranean panini was average and smaller than I'd expected. In total, our gyros plate, panini and a diet coke was around $16.00.

Great Gyros!
And the Baklava is 2die4!
It's easy to miss as it's a small place, but be sure to check it out next time you're in RTC.

Been here 4 times in the past 3 weeks. Nuff said..
we'll no..I'll say more..
Each time I'm there...have to..no MUST get the Baklava. It's a little drop of HEAVEN!!
Word to the wise: You're only lucky enough to get gyros from 11-1 and then from 5 -7 as they only do 1 skewer each time and it sells fast.
While you wait you can browse the oh so many Turkish travel mags and books. Making you want to travel there for sure.

If you are in love with gyros, this is one place to go! Portions are pretty large, and you don't ever leave this place hungry, they fill you up fast! They have one of the best soups which is the lentil soup, served with grilled pita slices. If you're in for some real Turkish treat, then go for the Iskender Kebab -- cut up pita, shaved gyro meat topped with very yummy tomato sauce and yogurt sauce, drizzled with hot butter. Baklava is definitely another one of their signatures. It's perfectly moist, not too soft, not too hard, it's exactly how it should be. While you're waiting, they have a backgammon board that you can make use of to keep yourself busy! Staff is very friendly, but sometimes they can be understaffed, which may make the waiting time a little longer than expected.

We went there for lunch today - and it was alright. I got the special (gyro sandwich, salad, drink and baklava for just under $10). The food took FOREVER to arrive. I'm not sure if it was because they were training someone new or whether it's always like this, but it took literally 15 minutes to get our food to us (there was just 2 of us). Granted it was lunch time, but the place wasn't even that busy.
Now for the food - the salad was just regular bagged salad - a little soggy, but alright. Gyros were ok but I've had better. Baklava was amazing!!! I'll definitely go back just for baklava alone - YUM!!

I walked into Pasha Grill while strolling the upper deck of Redmond Town Center in the mood for some meat, rice, pita bread and salad. After gazing at the photo menu trying to find the item that would deliver said cravings, I decided on the Gyro Plate even though it didn't come with any bread. 3 out 4 ain't bad, I thought. Ok. I order to go. I spent the next 3 minutes or so observing the scenic posters of Istanbul on the walls, hoping the plate was worth the $8.44. I started with the salad; your basic bagged salad mix tossed with a sharp vinaigrette. Not awesome, not terrible. Reminds me of a picnic salad someone you don't know packed together at the last minute. It was soggy by the time i was done. The salty and greasy meat shavings were mostly flavorless and sat atop a bed of unseasoned plain white rice. There's really not a whole lot to say about the dish. Uninspiring...how bout that? I ate the whole thing because i was hungry. Better "Greek" elsewhere.
