Parker's is an Auburn staple. I have spent probably too much time there, but that's because it's as close to perfect as you can get in Auburn!
The food is great, the prices are cheap enough that students can eat there all the time and not go broke, and the wait staff is ridiculously nice--no attitude if you just want to sit around drinking diet soda for four hours.
On the topic of soda, I'm not thrilled that they have Pepsi instead of Coke, but I can live with it (their iced tea is amazing, so you can avoid the issue). The only other "complaint" I have with Parker's is that parking is stressful. Although that might be one of those "just me" things, because I suck at parking (and driving, for that matter). Street parking fills up quickly, but you can always park down the street or at the lot (I think).
Supposedly, Parker's is open during the day too, and there's a nice patio outside, so I guess you could bring your family there for a nice meal or whatever. It's clearly more entertaining at night, though. A great variety of people go there and it gets loud, but not obnoxiously so.
So if you're looking for a place that's open late, where you can get delicious food and meet some cool people (and likely see at least one person you know), definitely go to Parker's.

Oh, if you're going with a big group, call and make reservations/warn them, even if it's at the last minute. Otherwise, just show up.

I've spent many nights at Parkers. This is the best bar in Auburn. The prices are fair, the drinks are well made, they have one of the BEST BLOODY MARYs I've ever had and they stay open late. The staff leaves a little to be desired, but you can't win them all.

The bar food is great. Burgers, fries, salads...all of it is great. Go and eat and drink and you will be well taken care of.

Parker's is a bar/restaurant combo with a great atmosphere. The food was great, they have a huge selection, I ordered the Mexican burger (a burger with jalepanos and salsa) it was great!! I definitely recommend this place for anybody looking for a good place to eat with a laid back pub style atmosphere.

Parker's came recommended to me by the tourism office. "I've never had a bad meal there," she said. I can see why. Although the service was definitely lacking, the food itself was extremely fresh. I had the grilled chicken on a salad with tomato balsamic on the side. This was a daily special, and I think they should add it to the main menu. It basically hit the spot. They gave it to me on romaine, my favorite, and the grilled chicken especially was fantastic. I would come back if in the area.
