Studio for $75 per night, third night free - my business trip's lodging tab came out to ~$160. The place is adorable and incredibly well managed!

I was able to check in early (1pm instead of 4pm) and walking into a cute and clean studio (pull-down bed, table, chairs, portable grill, microwave, walk in closet, etc. -- see pics!) They even provided robes!

There is also on-site BBQ grills, fitness center, indoor spa/pool,etc. The resort has underground parking, which is a bit iffy if you're traveling alone but I felt safe over-all and had no problem finding a spot.

All in all .. a lovely place and would definitely stay again!

Do not confuse this with The Park Regency.  This Hotel/Condo is very nice.

So let's Review

Park Plaza - Good
Park Regency  - Bad

Park Plaza - Good
Park Regency - Bad

Ok Park Regency is not bad it is just not as nice as Park Plaza.

I do race training in Park City for about 3 weeks every December.  So I did a lot of renting.  But That was before I purchased my brand New 2 Bedroom 3 Bath Slopeside Condo at The Canyons that I also offer for rentals (http://silverado.enter...), That concludes my shameless promotion of my condo.

So anyway I bounced around alot.  So I stayed in Park Regency for 10 days and I spent the last week at the Park Plaza.

Park Plaza

Very modest building on the outside, but as soon as you walk into the lobby you can tell it is something special.  They have a very large indoor swimming pool that is right there near the main lobby.

My room was sooooo nice.  I had a delux studio and it was very cozy and comfortable.  It had a full kitchen living area dining area.  Everything in the room looked news.

Anyway I would highly recommend this place.

Hope that Yelps!

Great room-- spacious, with new furnishings and a gas fireplace-- very cute.  Everything else-- not so cute.

The service at this place is laughable.

1)  Called front desk 3 times before someone was able to tell us there was a Park City shuttle from the airport to the hotel.  We had already rented a car by then.

2)  Were told we could check in early (noon); arrived by 2 and the room was not ready and we needed to come back.  When we came back at 5, they were still "not sure" if the room was clean, but gave us the key anyway.

3)  Gave us the wrong room!  Spent the rest of the weekend chasing down the incredibly rude manager (Jeanette) only to be told that the room issue was between me and Expedia, and not the hotel's problem.

4) The second day we were there, no one ever came to clean our room.

By the end of the trip (three days) we knew if we wanted the right answer, it was better not to even bother with the front desk.  There are some nice people from the Miner's Club that work the concierge desk-- stick with them, they're far more knowledgeable.
