My daughters and I frequent this mall, as it is theclosest one to where we live and we always enjoy ourselves when we go shopping here together. We only hit up sales though, as mall prices can leave you broke rather quickly unless your shopping with a savvy eye, or just plain rich.

It is always crowded on the weekends, so don't go if too many people in one place freak you out. Parking sucks on weekends also.

The main annoying thing to me is the aggressiveness of the kiosk vendors. I feel like wearing a posterboard sign that reads "NO MEANS NO!" Those people can be vultures, so do yourself a favor and just ignore them if your really not interested or else the next thing you know, being polite just cost you half an hour of your life that you'll never get back.

I am a frequenter of this mall.  I really like all the shops, but do with there was a better selection of dress apparel.  It is usually always busy and the kiosk vendors are relentless.

Aw Hell NO! What a freakin' nightmare. Maybe it was due to the 110 degree weather but it was so packed that I all the sudden started dealing with claustrophobia issues that I've never had!! There were so many people in such a small space that it was just overwhelming on the senses. Dirty kids running around yelling and screaming, power-shoppers with their grocery carts stolen from Old Navy to hold all their goods, 13 year old teenagers scamming on each other, and then...the topper...the kiosk workers attacking you as you pass by wanting you to try a metal cigarette, straighten your hair, lotion up your hands or sell you a new mobile plan.

Would I go back? MAYBE...but only on a weekday, first thing in the morning when it's 75 outside!! I was generous with a 2 star because they have a decent selection of stores including White House Black Market. Otherwise, Park Place would have received a 1 from me.

I remember this place from my childhood, and its really become a very nice mall.  They have combined open air stores on the north face with typical Arizona indoor malls.  The decor is classy and the food court boasts many different types of food.  If you want more formal dining there are a variety of places on the north side out facing Broadway, or to the south, and east against Wilmot.

Sadly, like many malls now, there are no more music stores, but the theatre is a nice addition.  On a hot summer day you really could stay cool and dry all day here during monsoon season.

Parking can be harry, especially during the holiday season.  Best bet if you want stress free parking...just go to the far east side of the mall between it and Wilmot and use the auxiliary parking.  You'll have to walk further, but it bets the stress of driving around any day of the week to me.

It's Tucson so just realize what you're working with...

*Do you really want an outdoor mall during the hot, unbearable summers? no.

*Snow Birds and oldies love Sears, yes it's retro to many of us but they are still in business for a reason.

So onto the mall- a better food court than most places... really has something for everyone. A fun play area for your little tyke to make friends and get tired so you can enjoy your shopping post. A great movie theatre showing the newest releases.

Dillards, Victoria's Secret, Z Gallerie, and a few other stores worth checking out.

It is over-crowded both parking-wise and once inside the mall. The kiosks that are every 5 feet with the annoying sales people, I could do without too (thankfully I found a way to get them to not harrass me). & there is no Nordstrom's or some other great store I like to frequent but this place does the job when in need of a decent mall.

We saw "His Jolliness" at Park Place today. While you're waiting for your turn (second in line) the helper would take the children to a mail slot to drop letters to Santa and then the slot would blow "snow" up into the air and it would land gently on the children. Then the kids pushed a huge red button on a meter that would say if they were naughty or nice. It was really clever. Santa was great. He was very sweet with my baby as she pulled his beard. She wasn't scared at all, but I saw a 2 year old lose it right before us.

When you buy your portraits (if you do) then you also receive a http://shutterfly.com gift card for $10 or $20  (depending on how much you spend, I gather) worth of free picture developing-yes you can use an existing account and it is not after you spend a certain amount. I like shutterfly for picture developing so this was an added bonus. Great experience all around.

This is a good mall. I like it because because it's close to home and there are actual things to do there. I'm kind of heartbroken that Border's is closing down, and hoping that another bookstore is built in its place. Its movie theater is current and pretty large, has a good assortment of movies. There are bands playing there occasionally. Of course, lots of clothing stores and shoe places, along with a toy store and a store with board games and magic cards, as well as other items. It deserves a better rating than other malls around Tucson; I think this is one of the better ones that I've experienced overall.

The overall experience was alright... since I can't comment on individual stores I am forced to give the entire mall a lower rating.  I went into Tilly's to buy a hat and the girl working behind the counter had the nerve to stand there and flirt with a guy while I was waiting in line.  The only thing that made them stop flirting is my daughter started crying because she was tired of waiting.  That was a good fifteen minutes later.  Really annoying.  After that I didn't want to walk around the mall anymore and we left.

This is a nice mall with plenty of parking and a good selection of stores. It is easy to navigate and not too big. I especially love Dillard's and I wish we had this store in California. Dillard's PLEASE come to California already...I am so sick of Macy*s!!! GREAT watch repair shop next to Macys which is why we came here in the first place.

In the eight years I lived in Tucson, I only made my way to this mall once. My experience was nothing short of, "Ew.. why'd I come here?" I went in through Sears (which was like stepping back in time considering I haven't seen a Sears store looking like that since the early 90s). I never really got that "mall" feeling like I do at other malls (ex. Tucson Mall). I made my way into a Spencer's Gifts and completely wish I hadn't. Someone next to me knocked something on the floor and ran off. I jumped back because there was glass/hard plastic-glass-looking stuff on the floor. A salesgirl who was standing right there must not have seen the kid who broke it and gave ME attitude; "Oh! No. Of course.. DON'T help me! I'll do it myself. UGH!" I thought, "Wtf.. I'm not an employee here and I WAS going to help you until you were a total b-word." I fought the urge to slap her and walked out.

    Avoid this place.

This mall has barely any cool things about it. Villa pizza is okay at the food court I guess. I didn't like going here. Not a place to just go an hang out. I agree with the previous yelper, I would rather go to La Encantada.

This mall gets crazy busy around christmas because all the people from Mexico come here to shop for their presents. It is crazy. Plus they do not follow the "American" rules of driving a car so be careful or else you will get run over.

I haven't been to park in years! So it was exciting to go.  They really changed a lot!  I enjoyed shopping at Love Couture great store!  I went to my regular stores and they pretty much changed too.  I hear there is an H &M going in too!   I will have to check them out more often.

I guess if I absolutely have to go to a mall in town, it has to be this one. Well, I'd rather go to La Encantada but I can't afford much there. I hate malls. Yeah, I said it. I was born missing that gene that makes girls love shopping. I hate it. I'd much rather shop online whenever I can. I shop with a purpose. I mean that I go somewhere looking for something. I don't like wandering around trying to see if I fancy anything. You know, I'm thinking about it and what I wrote isn't necessarily true. I like looking around in the rare place that you don't get pressured by anyone. That's hardly the case.
What I hate the most about Park Place is that I feel like I have to walk around looking straight forward so as to not get accosted by the kiosk people. Once you make eye contact, it's all over. Yesterday I was offered to switch cell phone providers, upgrade phones from my own provider, have some crap rubbed on my hands, have my teeth whitened in front of everyone and have my hair flat ironed. I must look horrid to get all those people wanting to do stuff to me. Either that or it just wasn't a very busy time. Thanks to the Proactiv girl for being on the phone each time I passed by and not actually working. I'd have died if one more person tried to make me look better.
Let me try to list the positives about this place . . . . there are a lot of places I want to go to anyway (Banana Republic, Old Navy, Macy's) all under one roof. That's the definition of a mall, so I guess that's not saying much. Uh . . .  this place looks pretty and the sofas in there look pretty comfy. The Bamboo Club is here and so are the theaters with the popular movies. Compared to the Tucson mall, this place is mall heaven. Ok, I'll add an extra star just for that. The fact that Park Place is not the Tucson Mall makes it all that much better.

i suppose park place is  your typical american mall. you've got your major department stores, smaller boutique stores and kiosks.

one thing i really liked about this place is the food court and the children's play area. it's nice that you have an area for your kids to play indoors to burn off a little energy before you get down to your shopping.

in a lot of the stores, the customer service wasn't that great. just a bunch of bored highschool/college kids running the show.

some good ones to mention, however: forever twenty-one (this is the largest one i've been in, and nice staff!!), tillys (i walked in 10 minutes to closing but they were still very nice and accommodating!) and baby gap.

avoid the kiosk people at all cost!! they lure you in!! i have to look straight ahead, not making any eye contact with them so they don't ask you if you want your hair straightened, or if you'd like to try a new wonderful fragrance. the t-mobile guys were the most annoying. they asked which carrier i had (at&t) and if they could take a few minutes of my time. ummm  hello? the mall is closing in 10 minutes and i'm not done shopping! i told them that where i'm visiting from, nobody has t-mobile because it sucks. they still yell at you while you're walking away that they'll show you otherwise.
yeah buddy! come visit me on the rock that is kauai and see if your cell phone works.

overall, good place to browse and shop.

Joy C you are not alone. Look, we have to shop. We have to go somewhere and there is NO Rodeo drive in sight. So pick a mall
any mall because we only have 4 North of Broadway and west
of Wilmont. If you went in Sears and Spencer gifts only , what did you expect? Macys and Dillards are fine shopping experiences
and many small shops have quality items. I have learned  that a emphatic NO! to the kiosk klan works and Encantada and Park are two different shopping days based on your mood and your cash flow.

Every time I go to park mall it gets worse.  The people in the kiosks are so aggressive and annoying.  No, I do not want to try your curl straightener, just like I didn't want to ten minutes ago.  If I have to go to two places I'm always tempted to drive between them and park near each rather than face the kiosk clan.

I'm not a huge fan of shopping malls.  Particularly enclosed ones.  There ARE a few enclosed malls that I really like and they are in Vegas, Indy, Chicago, and Philadelphia.  Beside the point... anyway.  Park Place... makes me want to just fall asleep in one of their public couches that are infested with people germs and who knows what else.  I don't get the sense that I am somewhere fun or exciting (not that I am saying it HAS TO BE FUN AND EXCITING)  I am saying that this mall is a snore.  As always... this mall as are most malls is a magnet for dress a-like clans of smelly pubic haired teens, tweens, and thug/thug wannabes.  Who the hell wants to go to a place that is crowded with kids like that?  Who the hell finds Abercrombie and Fitch all that exciting anymore?  It seems like to me, this day and age... there are drones of unoriginal blend in with the crowd boring kids who can't find another direction, because all they know is "Abercrombie, American Eagle... oh wow, I wanna look like them so I can be cool!"  Try La Encantada... although small and limited in selections, but it's just... cleaner and more attractive in appearance.  If you can handle the snotty and snooty botoxed people, then you'll be fine :)
