This is a top-notch diner. Good food, good service, reasonably priced. Their salad bar is the best!
Their "salad bar" is really more of a buffet--and is really amazing...there's some spicey and very flavorful stuff in there, and lots of diversity, enabling you to get a tasty and well-balanced meal that is very reasonbly priced with the all-you-can-eat deal.
The items you order, though, are also quite good!
Service was also good. Classic diner atmosphere.
I would gladly recommend this place to others. It is definitely among the best diners I have eaten at anywhere in the U.S.
This is the local diner of choice along route 34. It is open longer than Aberdeen dinner and has been around much longer. There is a salad bar that comes with a lot of the more expensive entrees and a standard long menu with 24 hour breakfast. Some of the things I've gotten over the years include pancakes and sausage, gyros, double decker melts, french toast, fried shrimp basket, and chicken parm sandwiches. The dessert display is also quite tempting and good. This diner is also above average in terms of cleanliness, which is a pretty important considering how grimy diners can get. Also, it is not open 24 hours, but does extend its hours during the weekends in the summer. Definitely check this baby out.
