If I'm honest, I initially didn't think it necessary to write up a review for a place that is obviously such a Lancaster area staple-- but-- the more I thought about it-- I couldn't not throw the Park City Diner some love for the gift of "you don't have to worry about that" that this diner gave me tonight-- and really-- isn't that one of the best gifts that anyone can give another person?

This week was long and hard, and driving home, I just wanted comfort-- my softest sweatpants, a shirt with no tags, and food that would hug me from the inside out, and I knew nothing else would satisfy like the eggplant Parmesan I had at Park City Diner maybe a year ago. I had it one time-- and I had to have it tonight-- and it was just as I remembered: comfort on a plate-- a generous mound of spaghetti, topped with red sauce, and toasted, breaded eggplant, topped with bubbling melted mozzarella-- served with garlic bread, and a fresh green salad. Like a real salad. Like the kind with real green curly lettuce, real cucumbers and real tomatoes. And here's the best part-- all of that love was served to me for $13.99! I know, right?!? What a treasure! This was enough food to feed me three times (which is a beautiful thing-- those leftovers make that lovin' feelin' last.)

Park City Diner is easy to get to, just off of route 30 there, and there's tons of parking. I placed my order, and I swear I was out the door with a generous hot meal that healed my tired soul in the space of ten minutes, and it was SO damn good. Just sayin.' Don't sleep on those "tried and trues"! They're tried and true for a reason!

It's easy to overlook the beauty of a thing just because it's always there-- way too often we take the good things for granted. I think Park City Diner's like that. It's there every day all day. Maybe you should stop in if it's been a while-- so maybe you too could be healed by a heap of warm, delicious love on a plate.
      ;)

Always a pleasant experience and will remain my favorite diner in Lancaster. The pork and kraut was very tender and flavorful. Best red skinned mashed potatoes around! The amount of food you get is well worth the price compared to most other restaurants. All employees are very friendly. It can be noisy during their busy times but that's typical of all diners. Plenty of parking. They can accommodate large groups.

Customer service 5 stars: yeaaaah ikr? For a diner! Lol my servers an older man and young African American lady was amazing!

Food: 3.75 stars: it was after midnight, barely any options, and for what we ordered we were all satisfied with. The gyro was good, the pancakes were good, and the omelets are good. The home fries were decent.

Cleanliness: 2.5 stars: and its dated in appearance but its cleaner than waffle house and has better looking workers than waffle house too. Just to give you an idea of what you are dealing with.

Price point: 4.5 stars: I found it fair.

Overall: if I was in the area and it was late night, I would come back. I rate them 3.5 stars but since that isn't an option I lean more so towards 3 stars than 4. I would come here over waffle house, if that gives you an idea of how to rate/rank this place. They do offer flavored coffee creamers but the coffee is weak af lol gotta pick your battles I suppose. The area looks sketchy af a night so watch your back!

Went late night since this is the only 24/7 diner around here that isn't round the clock or Waffle House. Our server barely spoke maybe said 4 things to us total lol. I'm not mad at that just was not a welcoming vibe.

Food was fine it's what'd you'd expect from a 24 hour diner. Frozen food but the breakfast looked pretty good. Might come back if nothing else is open

We've been coming here when we are in town for pretty many years. This place is always good, consistent and a lot of food for a reasonable price. I had the Maryland crab cakes with green beans, salad and Lobster bisque. Everything was delicious and presented well. Parmesan cheese on the green beans....no one ever serves them with that extra special touch, but this place does. And lots of crab, fish and shrimp in the crab cakes! My hubby loves their hand breaded fried oysters. He gets them every time but never finishes them. Well another meal to take home and enjoy! Our waitress Darby, was kind and pleasant. She was helpful and brought our food out piping hot! The menu is huge and can't wait to come and have breakfast... catfish and eggs!

      Don't eat here!
This poor replacement of the iconic Zinn's restaurant, has only gotten worse over the years. I had the misfortune of trying it out again while traveling from the Jersey shore to Pittsburgh last weekend. I believe this was my third time in ten or more years. I hoped it would have improved by now. Wrong! First of all, the waitress was very loud and gruff. She offered no recommendations or knowledge about the menu items at all. I ordered a tuna melt. It was awful - untoasted bread topped with a thin layer of chunk-lite tuna, covered in four slices of cheese that were barely warm, let alone melted. Fishy and cold. Awful. The fries on the side were ok. A side dish of packaged Cole slaw with a small pickle on top, which was practically thrown at me. But the tuna melt was downright inedible.
There aren't many dining options on this exit, but this one should not even be considered.

Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Great service. A large menu with a plethora of meals to choose from. Clean dining room. Clean restrooms. Large crowd that they turn over quickly with their well-staffed workforce. A rare treat these days.

P.S. try the crab cakes. They were fantastic!

      DO NOT COME HERE.
My Dad and I went to eat here and he had forgotten his phone in the parking lot. So, I go to check the app that can track where our phones are.. and the phones location was unavailable..

We come back and ask the host about it.. she goes to the back and returns the phone to us. Come to find out, one of the chefs had found it, and turned it off completely so I wouldn't be able to track where it was. When she handed the phone back to us, it was greasy and powered off completely...

      Disgusting and grimy business
