South San Francisco, CA
I Love Chow! I've been satisfied every time. I'm impressed with the number of organic/local things they offer. I loved the grass-fed beef pot roast with mashed potatoes, for only $12.95. The arancini appetizer is so good, filled with melted mozzarella and creamy risotto ($6.50).
Their desserts are absolutely AMAZING as well. I highly recommend the organic coconut cream pie, whether or not you're a coconut fan. The organic apple pie is so buttery and warm, especially with a side of organic vanilla ice cream. Another dessert to die for is the chocolate cream pie. So rich and creamy!
Overall, great food, quality, and ambiance. -

Every time I've been to Park Chow, the experience gets better. I really wasn't wowed by their brunch, but had heard such good things that my friends and I tried them out for dinner.
The only reason I didn't bump them all the way to 5 stars was the wait. Supposedly, you can call ahead and get your name on the list for the time you want. It's not quite a reservation, but it IS supposed to help. I had my name on the list for 7p, and I think someone forgot to write my name down when I called because I didn't see it anywhere on anyone's list. I had to convince the guy working that we'd called, and he just looked confused. Then, he told me it would be a 15-20 minute wait, when we weren't seated for another half an hour. What exactly is the point of this call ahead list if it gives me no advantage??
Anyways, the problems stopped after we were seated. Our waiter was so attentive and thoughtful, and all our food came out quickly. We got the Arancini and Artichoke for apps, and I was just scooping up as much of the aioli with my artichoke leaves as I could, it was soooooo good. We also ordered the linguini with clams and the pot roast (my boyfriends favorite comfort food, and it did not disappoint). While I did enjoy the pasta, especially the sauce, I wish they'd been more specific on their menu. It said "claims, prawns, seafood...", when they really mean clams, prawns, and salmon. I'm not really a salmon person and I'm not sure if I would have ordered it if I'd known the other "seafood" was my least favorite fish. However, my boyfriend ate most of the salmon (in return for his mashed potatoes, which were so creamy and flavorful), and he said it was good.
Between my friends and I, we also ordered most of their beers and desserts. I was struggling to take down a slice of apple pie all by myself, but I'm so glad I did. Reviews don't lie, you should not miss out on their desserts. Also, we all enjoyed their on-tap beers (favorites were Death & Taxes and the Great White), and would come back for more!
Another note for groups or double daters: this place can feed a very diverse crowd. My friend's boyfriend is a steak and potatoes kind of guy, while she is trying to become vegan and my boyfriend and I are more into adventurous eating. Park Chow had something for all of us, and we all left happy!Listed in: On the Double!

Quick summary:
- Great service
- Food is okay
- Pretty busy and loud
- Hearty american food
Park Chow was pretty busy when we arrived for a table of 3. Though it only took us about 20 minutes to get seated to our table. Our server was very helpful and quick which was greatly appreciated. Drinks and food come out fast. Great service, props to them.
However, the food was only satisfactory. Nothing to scream about. We started off with the steamed mussels with garlic bread and garlic mashed potatoes. The mussels were great. The mashed potatoes were a little too mashed for my preference. There was no texture to them. But for taste - they definitely satisfied my craving of potatoes.
I ordered the linguini with clams, prawns, fish, garlic, parsley and lemon. Other orders were the fusilli of chicken and sausage and the steak and frits. The linguini was good, nothing spectacular. I had a taste of the steak and I thought it wasn't at all tender or juicy, tasted a little dry with little flavour unfortunately. However, the fries were great and had just the right amount of saltiness to them. -

This is one of those places I have to visit everytime I'm in San Francisco just to discover a new exquisite dish. This time it was their delicious mussels with garlic bread. The main dish was just as delicious. I was so impressed by the atmosphere on the second floor. It was very romantic. We had been here before and ate outside since we had our golden retriever. Did I mention they are pet friendly? Well they are.
The servers are super friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back! -

Date/Time: Saturday: 10:30pm
Occasion: Late dinner with bear
Party of: Two
Ordered: baked goat cheese, char-grilled flank steak and fries, grilled organic pork chop, and ginger cake & pumpkin ice cream
Total incl gratuity: ~$48
Really torn one night on what to eat. Bear and I felt like something casual but wanted to try someplace new. After relentlessly searching YELP for late night eats, we came across Park Chow and decided to give them a try. Surprisingly, we enjoyed our experience. The food turned out to be quite tasty and the prices are amazingly reasonable. So much so that I had to do a double take on certain entrees.
We started with the baked goat cheese. If you're a cheese fan, you'll enjoy this appetizer. Robust flavors of gently baked goat cheese smothered over small pieces of walnut toast. It's a fairly small appetizer so just barely enough for two people. At $12.95, I couldn't resist but opt for one grilled organic pork chop. It was prepared well. Served with polenta and greens, the pork chop itself was deliciously grilled with a lovely smoked flavor. I think two would have hit the spot perfectly but I didn't want to overindulge. Bear went for the flank steak and fries. Not a bad choice!
We're normally not dessert folk however had read great things about their dessert. We ordered a slice of their ginger cake with the pumpkin ice cream. Wow, am I glad we went for it. It was scrumptious. Truly the perfect combination. The cake probably could have been a taste more moist although the ice cream was great.
All in all, a really laid back atmosphere and with friendly, down-to-earth service. Food is worth mentioning to friends. 4-stars for Park Chow! -

Came here for a late lunch with my mom and sister after a busy day at the Academy of Science. About a 10 min walk with some tired feet!
It was recommended to us (we're from out of town) by two friends who live in the area as well as Rachael Ray's $40 a day.
Seating was ample on a Friday around 2:30pm so we sat upstairs where the atmosphere was cozy but not stuffy. Warm and inviting. I ordered the medium portion of Spinach Salad, by mom got the 1/2 picnic sandwich special which was roasted eggplant that day (all vegetarian) and my sister got the kids pepperoni pizza.
Took a while to get our food but I thought it was worth it because everything was so fresh! All of us felt healthy and satisfied but not bloated full like other places. The crust on the pizza was very delicious too (got to eat it because my sister is sort of picky). She enjoyed it though and it's hard to find a place kid friendly for picky eaters! -

South San Francisco, CA
Really cool place to eat, drink, relax off of Irving near the Golden Gate Park! Looks tiny from the outside, but there's actually two stories to this place and it has a warm feel to it and the upstairs reminds me of a cabin type cafe. Been hearing a lot about this place, so finally just went the other week and can't wait to go back to order different food. They serve American-ish type food like: soup, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, pizzettes, and organic meals too!
Wasn't feeling real hungry so ordered the medium Fusilli of Chicken & Sausage, mushrooms, tomato, cream and my friend ordered the smiling noodles both for around $10. The Fusilli I ordered was pretty bland...wasn't impressed with it, but wash't disgusted by it either. I've definitely had better pasta, but nothing to complain about. I tried the smiling noodles and that was pretty good! Chicken, prawns, and curry sauce on the noodles made it taste real good. I would recommend that dish if you're going to get noodles.
Definitely going back to try different food, plus it's just really cool place and right near a lot of things at GG park. -
Review from Christopher L.
Millbrae, CA
I came here around 4pm on a Tuesday to find it sparsely occupied. It may be my fault to not have scrutinized the menu and Yelp reviews more carefully, but the smiling noodles I ordered was not even OK. Here's why:
It was a very poor attempt at something similar to tom yum noodle soup except they used lemon grass instead of tamarind. It didn't come out hot, I could barely taste any curry, the bak choy was overcooked, chicken was dry from overcooking, and the shrimps had their backs cut opened but had NOT been deveined... Unfortunately, it also costs $12.50 and the portion was childlike. That's for the "entree", so I'd be interested to see how the "medium", at something like $9, is portioned.
Seems like most reviewers like Park Chow's breakfast/brunch, but at the end of the day, if it's on the menu, it should be good, right? I'm in no rush to return, but I'd recommend sticking to the more "American" items (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) -

I went here this evening with my friends we were excited since it has such high reviews! But I was really disappointed with the food,I ordered the tuna melt sandwich and the tuna didn't taste special and the fries that came with it were over done, I felt as if I could make the same thing at home.
My friend ordered chicken pasta, she said the chicken and pasta was dry, and my other friend ordered the fish tacos he ate one taco and the fries he just poked what was left. None of us finished our food.
I'm only leaving a stars because the service was really good, but sadly I won't be going back. -
Review from Leanne S.
Came here with the work peeps for lunch and didn't even have to wait for a table. Sometimes that's a bad sign I guess but not today.
We ordered a few apps - artichokes & a mozz. dip. The apps were pretty good but not half as good as the burger I ordered! Think baguette, grilled onions, jack cheese and a perfectly cooked medium raw burger - god it was good! I would come back alone for that burger. Guess I should mention the dessert as well... The ginger cake is to die for! It's served with pumpkin ice cream and whipped cream - HEAVEN! -

Returned here today after years of moving out of the Sunset district...glad this place is still great!
I had the fusilli with chicken/sausage/mushroom....still my favorite dish here-very tasty and great flavor. My bf enjoyed his lamb burger also. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the game that was on (even though we couldn't hear it)!
The crew that works here is fun and eccentric but they definitely get the job done. I've never had a complaint with the service here.
Would love to return again if in the area. Cozy, fun hang out and good food1 Previous Review: Show all »

I don't see what all of the hype is about. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to grab a lunch with a friend since it got such great ratings on yet, but neither of us were impressed. The inside of the restaurant is cute, service was nice, but the food was only mediocre. My friend had their tuna melt with fries and I had their fusilli with chicken/sausage and we were disappointed with our food choices.
Street parking is usually pretty hard since it's in a busy area between Irving and Lincoln.
I'd like to give this place another try since their yelp reviews rated them so high, but I am a bit hesitant especially since it's a bit pricey for the taste of the food. Maybe I'll have to stop by to try their dinner menu. -

What we ordered: goat cheese appetizer and mussels. entrees: beef pot roast and the fish special: grilled salmon.
the service was excellent, we called ahead for an 8pm reservation for 2 and only waited a few minutes to be seated.
the goat cheese app was amazing! great flavors served with toasted walnut bread. the mussels were fresh with delicious broth and large slice of garlic bread.
the beef pot roast was tender and well flavored and the salmon special was great! served with mashed potatoes, veggies and a sweet thai sauce. fish was perfectly cooked.
other great advantage: NO corkage fee!
we were in and out with an hour and a half- loud ambiance, families and kids, not the best place if you want a long lingering date night but everything was great!
will definitely go back! -

This place sucks balls. Where do i begin. Ok first to get in the place u have to walk through this thick ass curtain that smells like stale ass cigarettes. Than on the other side its hella dogs lying down by their owners. Now granted if this was outdoors i would have no problem and i know that im not a huge dog lover but cmon yall the smell of wet dog, dog shyt and cigarettes before u eat is fucking unpleasant. Ok so we are finally seated and the tables are hella tiny. Cmon im not even that big yo. Prices sucked too. 15 bucks for a pasta dish that taste like chef boy ar dee.. for real it was posed to have chicken and sausauges but only had chicken. And on the menu $2.75 for a small water?? $4.75 for a large?? Really isnt water free.. waiter was cool though. The people that work here are cool but this place is a train wreck

Food has always been delicious.
Descent variety of dishes and wonderful, plentiful salads.
The outside front patio allows dogs, while the inside is a bit confined, narrow, and busy-
the service has been good every time Ive been there. I defiantly invite friends to pay a visit. =) -

This lovely restaurant just has it figured out. It's hard to describe the style because it's pretty much just its own thing. Whatever it is it's consistent. Everything from the menu items to the toothpick/napkin holder to the fresh-squeezed juice and the way they put the check inside a small glass just makes sense, thematically.
Allow me to make a recommendation here for you and your date:
Share an iceberg lettuce salad with blue cheese dressing. Try the apple juice! It's so fresh that it even has a layer of apple froth on top. For an entrée, go with the spaghetti and meatballs, they really have the homestyle flavor dialed in. The thai style noodles are also excellent, and the stews are great as well.
Now, I am usually not a dessert eater, but you simply MUST try the ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream. There's even a picture of it here http://is.gd/VkkG2H .
Nice servers, too. This is an all around great establishment. -

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Park Chow. We ate upstairs under the heat lamps during brunch. I thought it was neat that they have a fireplace at the back upstairs. The food was also very good. I enjoyed my eggs benedict with one egg and also tried the French toast which was yummy and the blueberry pancake (didn't care for). It wasn't very filling (hungry again in a couple of hours) but the food was really good.

Ate here with the boyfriend last night and oh man, their veggie burger is amazing. It didn't fall apart with one bite, it was house made, and it had a little bit of a spice to it. Their minestrone and spinach salad are bomb too. We also got the arancini and loved the marinara sauce that came with it, so much that next time we are going to try the lasagna. New go-to place.

Archie: All right, all right, I apologize.
Otto: You're really sorry?
Archie: I'm really really sorry. I apologize unreservedly.
Otto: You take it back?
Archie: I do. I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.
Maybe even 3.5 now. For breakfast, which was delicious today, French toast--I *never* get French toast, or pancakes or waffles or any of that--some kind of pork carnitas scrambled egg thing, fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, let me repeat that, fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice. Coffee's pretty good, too. And the service: polite, efficient, attentive, if a little too make-uppy, especially for at, like, you know, 10 in the morning.
But the real, huge, night/day difference-maker this time? We sat upstairs, which was warm--both aesthetically and literally--and ski lodgey, not that I really have a dog in the ski lodge fight, just that I think it's a wonderful, winter-day aesthetic...but warm, as I was saying, and ski lodgey, and *kind of empty*, and with certainly no kids, or anything/-one else of the ilk that made me desperate and depressed and wrist-slitty the last time I went, oh about 6 months ago, give or take. But maybe that was just because it was summer. God what a weird town this is.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Yum. We went to this one for Sunday brunch as opposed to the Castro to avoid quite the wait and also to bring our puppy and be able to have him there.
Park Chow was super accommodating, made us a reservation for their heated covered outdoor area, and even held our table when we were late for the reservation. Very friendly waitstaff.
Marion's Pancakes with ricotta, raspberry, and lemon were delicious. -

I didn't realize that I've already been to this restaurant but the one in Lafayette.
The food is top quality, the service is great, and the atmosphere is warm.
I like how they have a fireplace and an indoor patio type area.
I was sad that their beer taps were all broken when I was looking for a good draft (so I got something in a bottle instead).
I went for the Smiling Noodles and it was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. I wish I had gotten more bread with it to soak up the yummy curry. Next time I'll try the pork chops and maybe some dessert. My main entree was very filling.
I highly recommend this joint! If the line is too long, there's a lot of other goods joints just across the street or around the corner. -

Won ton appetizer was good enough to order a second immediately after tasting the first. Chocolate shake tasty as expected. Pot roast pretty good, but I've had better. Salads are fresh and interesting. Service was very good. Ambiance cozy. A bit pricey, though as there were just two of us and we spent $80 without drinking any alcohol.

Good, not great...
I've been here a couple times and only few things stands out
+ Atmosphere (hopefully you get a set near one of the fireplaces. :)
+ Ginger cake
+ Southern Pecan pie
Other notes:
+/- pork chop is good, not rave worthy, you could make it at home.
+ I prefer their brunch more than other menus.
- Portions are small, food is good, but not great as others have stated.
+/- service is fine
As a testament to the portions after dinner and dessert, our party still hopped over to a pizzeria for a couple slices.
Go here for a bite and hang out with some friends, but so many other option in SF to choose from. -

Sad to say Park Chow wasn't as good the third time around. Still love the atmosphere, environment and overall the food, but this time around we weren't so impressed with what we ordered.
Ordered the mussels and they were bit undercooked and had a fishy after taste. We had to send it back to get them reheated.
Then we ordered the flat iron steak and vegetable noodles. We weren't impressed with either of them. The steak was unevenly cooked, a bit chewy, and had no flavor. The noodles had too much lime and were soaked in too much sauce.
We'll probably be back, but will stick to what we know are good eats. Even the best of restaurants can have an off day or a few off entrees.1 Previous Review: Show all »

my friend took me here during a visit and i would most DEFINITELY return! the food was delicious. i had the most amazing grilled chicken BLT i've ever had. it was on a toasted bun and came with a side of fries, soup, or salad (i chose the fries, and they were great too). i also had a chai to drink (they have an espresso machine and steam milk at the bar) and it was also delicious.
if you're in the area near capital park i would definitely recommend stopping by chow at the park! you won't regret it! -

Park Chow offers delicious and perfect experiences each and every time we visit.
- Great for beers and juicy burgers (even juicy Veggie burgers!) while watching the game on TV.
- Late night comfort food after a movie - me and the girls had the baked goat cheese to start with a Bianco Pizzette.
- Thai Chicken Salad after a brisk walk in the park with your pooch - IDEAL!
***We also take our out-of-town guests here.***
I haven't had any one of them disappointed after a meal at Park Chow! It has tons of options for all the picky pallets in your party.
- Even my own picky pallet hasn't been disappointed. In fact, you'd think we'd get bored with the menu... but just a few months ago, there were some *Market Specials* to spice it up! The Cioppino I ordered was delicious. I had to try some of my beau's Coffee-rubbed pork loin, and it was amazing. We fought over the last bit of farm fresh veggies on his plate too. YUM!!!
- And, if you are having a birthday dinner celebration... you'll find there's tons of room upstairs for your large party. Our friend had his 35th birthday party there this fall. We had our own little room to laugh like hyenas in. Best of all, those embarrassing stories about our friend could be told without being censored because our party room was private!
Great food and atmosphere for sure! -

Holy fish tacos, mmmmmmm. This was my first time here and it was absolutely delish, moderately priced ($20 for fish tacos and a mimosa, all-in). Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals as well. The wait staff were very attentive and personable. I'll definitely be back.

Came here for dinner yesterday. Service was great and quick. The waitresses were attentive.
Recommended:
Fusilli (although it was a bit on the salty side).
Prosciutto pizette.
Middle of the pack:
Baked Goat Cheese
Linguini (the seafood was pretty decent)
Avoid:
Lasagna (rather bland)
Mojitos also could've been a bit stronger. -

I love the setup of the upstairs patio! It's very cutesy and toasty warm with their heaters!
Anyways on to the food. I couldn't decide what to get but I eventually settled on the smiling noodles. All I have to say is - smiling noodles, you got me smiling! The taste was a mash of asian with pasta. Here's what smiling noodles are - "Smiling Noodles of Chicken & Prawns, bok choy, mushroom, fresh home-made curry." I didn't taste much curry in it, but you definitely do get a good amount of lemongrass taste in it. It's different than your typical pasta.
I had a taste of the pork chop. It was nice and juicy and mighty tasty. I think it had me smiling more than my smiling noodles.
I definitely want to try other dishes next time though! -

East Bay, CA
We were a pretty sizeable group of 8 kids (ages 4-7) and 5 adults (having just come from an outing to the Academy of Sciences). Everyone was hungry and tired, and when we walked in I thought, "we're in for a wait." I was totally wrong. The space is much bigger than meets the eye, and they have additional seating upstairs. It was cozy up there on a rainy day, but with ample space for our group.
The service was terrific. Our server was super patient with our group, which is a helluva virtue given the 8 kid to 5 adult ratio. She responded promptly to every request, and she got good help from the bus staff. She was really cheerful and pleasant, and even when I wasn't convinced she had heard a request I made, she turned out to be on top of it.
The food was pretty good. I had the lamb burger, which was tasty. I was hungry, so I should have ordered a side. My wife shared a salad and something else with a friend, and they were both pleased. There were plenty of good options for the kids.
I'd recommend this to a variety of people. Groups with or without kids, adults, whomever. Good food, good service, comfortable setting. -
Review from Karen S.
I don't remember what the heck we were thinking but somehow we ended up here for dinner. Bad decision.
We headed upstairs, sat down near the fire & enjoyed the quiet atmosphere while looking over our menus. Well that lasted for about 30 seconds. Soon after we sat down, several families with young children situated themselves around our table. Unfortunately, a little girl was not very happy & ended up screaming for a good long while. It got so bad that 1 other family actually moved downstairs.
As many may agree, when the atmosphere is ruined, the food will taste worse. But that' doesn't happen with me; my taste buds & my heart strings are not connected. Even with that though, dinner was palatable @ most. He got a Hamburger which was served on a baguette (automatic). The beef was cooked properly but the fries were no better than McDonald's. Bottom line, that burger was way overpriced. I got the Fusilli of Chicken & sausage which came in a really heavy & salty tomato sauce; had shred of chicken; & had little bits of breakfast sausage. We also got a Strawberry refresher (good) & an Arnold Palmer (weird after taste).
With the atmosphere screamed away & barely decent food, our dinner was further made worse by bad service. I know I wasn't just being sensitive because all 3 tables around us got smiles, food recommendations (without asking), & just general good spirits.
We've been to Park Chow 3 times now & each time it has gotten a little worse. Even though I'm giving my experience 2 starts, I only have 1 word to sum up my meal: sad.2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

Since moving to the Inner Sunset, Park Chow has become my go-to restaurant. My friends and family are afraid to ask me "Where do you want to eat today?" because they know I'll want Park Chow. But I don't care, I'll go to Park Chow two nights in a row (and I have)!
If it wasn't obvious, I LOVE PARK CHOW!
I have so many "favorite dishes" I have a hard time ordering sometimes. You can never really go wrong with the Goat Cheese Fondue, Thai Style Noodles, Smiling Noodles, Fall Lasagna, or the Thai Chicken Salad. Complement one of those dishes with a Wine Mojito and finish off your meal with their Ginger Cake w/ Pumpkin ice cream.
What really sealed the deal for me is brunch at Park Chow. I think they have the BEST french toast around town! So fluffy and topped with mascarpone...hmmm. Delicious! I always order the Two eggs, toast and potatoes dish with a side of kids french toast! Perfect way to start of a day, if you ask me!
Sure, it could take a little long to get your food, but it's worth the wait. You can spend time enjoying the fireplace. It's a great spot to catch up with a friend, have a family dinner, or a date at a great price! -

Man, this place was hella good! A truly 5 star experience from start to finish.
First off, this place is waaay bigger than it looks. There's a front area, back area, upstairs area, upstairs back area.. it's all bending the laws of space and physics like the TARDIS up in here. It's pretty big, so don't be afraid to bring a large party.
Also, it's so cozy! Candles and fireplace and stuff like that, and plenty of space heaters.
The food was also delish, and it came out so fast! I had the Mahi Mahi special which was cooked perfectly with mashed potatoes and veggies and poblano chili sauce, yum yum. They also had fresh squeezed juice, which is a big plus. I had the carrot-apple-lemonade juice.
We finished it off with a warm huckleberry-pear cobbler a la mode. Our server, a pale lady with long (possibly curly?) hair went out of her way to give us super excellent service which is what really made this experience a home run. -

We visited the CA Academy of Art and were starving after - busted out the Yelp app on our phones and decided to try this place.
It was A-OK. Nothing spectacular, just good- some of the food really good, and some of it just good. Nothing was bad.
One downfall was the service. We were greeted by a really nice kid when we got there who got us waters right away, but then we sat there for about 15 minutes until we finally asked, "who's our server?"
We started w/ just a medium salad. A bit pricey for what you get, and though it was very fresh- the shredded carrots and celery sort of... cheapened it, if that doesn't sound too snobby. We just expected more for a $6 salad.
I ordered the free range chicken BLT and my bf ordered the fusilli pasta. Both were just good. The BLT tasted really fresh -- But, though the fusilli was delicious as well, we usually make equally delicious pasta at home!
The best part about the whole meal was the pumpkin pie and coffee we had for dessert. SOO good! Not too sweet - just perfect.
The place is cute- sort of a rustic tavern hipster feeling inside. The menu is all on the local organic hype- that's cool. Though, you can see where they cut corners- the french fries that accompanied my BLT were good, but frozen I bet!!
The place was good, and worth trying however, we probably wont go back just because there are so many other places to try in San Francisco and this place was not over the top extraordinary enough to bring us back. BUT IT WAS GOOD! -

Maybe this is more of a breakfast place, but I have to say that my dinner experience was pretty lousy (company excluded). I'm normally very tolerant of server mistakes and I know they have a difficult job but the service here was just awful. The waitress was totally nonchalant almost to the point of being dismissive.
After about 15 minutes of waiting for a drink, she confirms my IPA order and then one minute later brings me a pilsner. She did correct the mistake quickly at least. I ordered the Linguine with clams and it was okay. I'd rate a star higher on the food but it was nothing special and I've had much better. My date's food was a little tastier but still nothing to write home about.
Finally I order the chocolate cake for dessert. She comes back and tells me they only have small portions available. Fine, whatever I'll take the small portion - we weren't that hungry anyway. She comes back again and said a table of 30 upstairs just claimed the remaining portions. Fine - check please. I wait 10 more minutes for her to take the check. Not cool.
I think the waitress commented at one point that it was an epic fail. I agree 100% and I won't be back anytime soon despite this place being a block from my apartment.
