Only my second time into a Paris Baguette and it just so happens to be close to my sister's house when we came up to visit during the holidays.  Naturally we hate to come over empty handed, so we perused the cake selection and settled on a holiday Fruit Fresh Cream Cake. http://www.yelp.com/bi... For $34, I thought the price was pretty steep, but whatcha gonna do when it's 12/24?...

The cake was delicious and well received as we proceeded to scarf it down over the next day or two.  Although we enjoyed it, I would hesitate to think about buying it again because of the price if we weren't so pressed...

The following morning was Xmas and we came back to bring some stuff over to my inlaws in the city:

    - Pineapple Pastry;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Apple Pastry;
    - Twist Pie;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Peach Pastry;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Almond Pastry;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Waffle;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Pecan Cinnamon Roll;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Fruit Cream Cheese Pastry;
    - Soft Mocha Cake;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...
    - Soft Cheese Cake;
    - Cheese Muffin;  http://www.yelp.com/bi...

I also had a Curry Croquette http://www.yelp.com/bi... because it looked warm and I wanted something to eat just so I didn't show up at my inlaws starving and scarfing everything in sight...

Our forray to Paris Baguette was one mainly of convenience because they were actually one of the few places open on Xmas morning.  Nevertheless, it's worthwhile to know that we can pick up some desserts and pastries when we're in the area on a moments notice...

Love the selection of pastries and goodies here! You can get anything from sweet potato buns, cream cheese donuts (great if you like things like cream cheese wontons or crab rangoon), green tea cakes, tuna buns (look interesting) and more! My favorite and general crowd pleaser is their blueberry chiffon cake. It kind of tastes like a fluffy blueberry bagel. Very interesting and very delicious! My boyfriend got the chocolate chiffon cake, which he loved as well.

It's an Asian bakery, so their cakes are not super sweet, dense or rich. The cakes are only lightly sweetened and super fluffy. The toppings are various flavored whipped creams, not sugary frostings. So if this sounds like your cup of tea, Paris Baguette is the place to be!

Heavenlyyyyyyy! I love this bakery for so many reasons!

The set up of the shop is so cute! I love that you get your own tray and tongs and can just grab whatever you want. It's dangerous to be sure (I have little to no will power when it comes to buttery baked goods), but it makes it a fun experience!

Their cream puffs are so light and fluffy--just delicious! I've also tried a blueberry cake. It was bought by someone else for my birthday so I don't exactly know what it was, but I do know it was the best birthday cake I've ever had! Their strawberry & chocolate drizzled pastry is really good too! There are also a lot of cream cheese filled deserts that are really good.

Last time I was there, I noticed people buying Milk Bread. I hope to buy a loaf on my next visit!

Love their food! Lots of varieties of bread, pastry, and cakes! I live in Fremont, but if I still drive over their several times a week. My favorate one in there is the plain cheese cake. It is light and moist and it isn't very sweet, but it is just a little bit expensive. Don't miss it!

What a great and unexpected find!   The pastries are absolutely incredible with a  fusion of Asian and French.

The lady in the back came out and offered us sample after sample.  She pointed out what we were tasting and explained what their best sellers were.  Everything was so delicious.  Too bad we just ate lunch otherwise I would have gladly devoured more samples.

I felt the prices were not too bad, but it was leaning towards the expensive side and adds up quick!

Dang, talk about a Northern California version of 85C (almost...)

I think although the atmosphere is different and there are no delicious teas or drinks to be had here (although they do serve coffee), this is probably as good as it gets here for pastries and baked goods.

Everything probably has at least one stick of butter in it which is why it tastes so heavenly, but that's ok! I'm totally down for a carb attack.

I highly recommend this spot if your'e in the area and even if you're not and just craving some delicious baked treats, cakes or even some candies. They have such a healthy selection you'll be hard pressed to just pick ONE. Yes I challenge you!

This is also kind of a small cafe so you can enjoy some coffee/tea with your pastry if you so desire while you eye your next snack attack still sitting on the counter.

Paris Baguette is located in a suburban strip mall that has turned into a Korean shopping center,  like so many other blocks in this part of Santa Clara.   If you are not Korean, you are definitely an outsider.

The young men on the ample staff at Paris Baguette were very courteous but surprisingly clueless when asked to describe their wares.  This is probably because their clientele is so homogeneous and doesn't have to ask.  Nonetheless, I enjoyed a sampling that included, loosely 'translated':
    - pumpkin 'donuts' :  freshly fried and pleasantly chewy pumpkin-filled balls
    - sweet potato 'pies' :   a danish of light pastry and not-too-sweet sweet potato filling
    - tapioca bread : round and hollow rolls, wonderfully chewy and crusty and slightly sweet
    - almond cream cheese ring : cheese danish

While checking out I requested the shaved ice described by other Yelpers.  Informed that it is only served in the summer,  I settled for an item purchased by the previous customer: a tiny bottle of milk pudding.

In all it was a delightful foray into Korean-Parisian pastry.   For the dainty size of the servings, it is pricey.  But when considering the airfare saved, it was worthwhile.

AHHH!!! Invasion of pastries!! I think this is the largest Asian Bakery ever! Wasn't too happy when I came here. Like the community that this bakery is in, like that there's many selections of pastries, But...!! I wanted the shaved ice desserts! (this review is late, went back in August) and WHY outta of all days they had to "run out of ice the employee" stated. First timer here and was disappointed. It was early afternoon too.

Ordered a small iced tea to wash down the pastries which was a bit expensive and had finished drinking it too quickly - too much ice.

At least they tried to accomodate by placing the dozen pastries were ordered in some type of box. I can't believe they told me that they had no box to put the dozen pastries in?!?! What if someone wanted to buy that many?! So they had to think about how they would package everything to go. Well, I can't deny the fact that the pastries were scrumptious! Oh and the famous croquette is a must have!

Their seating selection is kinda hard to find, so you kinda have to find a little spec of space - not literally. Pretty cramped up in here at the time! So if you have a sweet tooth! Come on over! Or better yet come back when it's shaved ice season!

Okay, fine. It took me this long to admit it.
I kinda hate everything about this PB... But...

Their cakes are nothing but deliciously comforting slices of joy.
    Especially the sweet potato cake.

If I ever become bulimic I'll be eating this just so I can taste it TWICE.

Y U NO CHEAPER so I can justify buying it for everyone and their mother's half-birthday?

But this place is totally going down when Tous Les Jours comes to El Camino.

    How do I know this?
Well, I AM the prophet of all things pastry.

The baked goods here are Western with an Asian twist. Next to a perfectly good croissant will be a wonderfully chewy taro bun. Asian sized loaves of bread sit next to crusty baguettes. Cakes of all shapes and sizes adorn gleaning glass cases, tempting you as you weave your way past all of the pastries to the check out counter.

The coffee drinks here are not bad but with Cafe Milan next door, I would seriously consider just picking up stuff here and going to the open area cafe for drinks. Besides which, the only decaf on their menu is decaf coffee. Seriously!?

Love this place, came in for the first time to get pastries for breakfast and not just lunchtime. Perfect! Everything was so fresh and flaky , went well with the coffee back at work !  My favorite was the pain at raisin , flaky, buttery and very fresh. The Belgian waffle was great too. Highly recommended especially as the prices were very reasonable

extremely good cake. it's like heaven in your mouth. the cake is super moist and the whip cream is delicious. i will definitely be coming back for more. however, i went there i had terrible service. i was skipped and i felt like i was being socially profiled. the guy at the counter asked someone who came after me who was white and older than me if he needed help first and after that guy said no and looked at me, the guy left from the counter so i ended up waiting at the cash register and waiting for them to assist me. smh bad service. thanks for setting the wrong expectation. no tip for you.

If you like blueberries or blueberry muffins try the blueberry chiffon cake! It's a very light fluffy cake that has the flavors of a blueberry muffin. I love it cold. I'm addicted to this stuff!

I know the milk pudding looks cute and it's very tempting to get... but skip it. It's like eating an undercooked egg that taste like cheap creme brulee.

Paris Baguette is a great place to pick up desserts or have a coffee break.

How could you not love this place? I mean, if you dont have a sweet tooth then i guess not.

SOOO MANY OPTIONS for pastries.. Sigh... its seriously dangerous going in there hungry, and if you have cravings.... considered yourself in heaven.

I love paris baguette. I never leave empty handed, even when its late and theres almost nothing left. They make me happy.

If you go early during lunch time, they always have samples out for you to try. Its one of the best places for cakes and pastries.

I do love Paris Baguette, mostly for the ironic naming.. should be called "Super Asian Bakery that runs out of baguettes"

Enter the utter chaos and you'll be rewarded with that delicious bakery smell. Everything is self serve (grab a tray and tongs when you enter) and because of the "clientale" there is a lot of shoving and man-handling of the pastries.

Regardless of the frantic atmosphere, the baked good sare yummy. They have a chocolate chip twist I LOVE , and their sugar donut is nice and fluffy. I love the cake slices they keep at the counter as well - if you prefer spongey cakes to densely packed fudge like cakes, you'll love PB. I like the Mocha Strawberry Cake. SO Yummy.

Overall, you might want to go at weird hours to avoid the crowd but the pastries are affordable and  delish.

Don't think this is a French bakery. Instead, it's an Asian bakery with little French influence. Nonetheless, I still enjoy their baked goods. Just recently, I tried their regular custard and chocolate custard breads. Both were delish and the custard was amazing.

Their garlic croissant was just okay. it was nice and garlicky, but I can tell it's mainly garlic powder that they use in the dough and just sprinkled minced garlic on top.

Most items are ~$1 give or take. This place reminds me of 85C is Irvine, except the horrendous crowd and 30 minute wait.

Be warned that the food is not cheap. But you can't get delicacies like those elsewhere, unless you travel to Korea. Also, I just love the super cozy "cafe" atmosphere. Happy chatters, unbelievably delicious smell wafting from the kitchen, beautiful and chic decor. Also if you go around noon till 2pm on good days, they have a ton of samples. I sometimes visit just for the samples :o) so good.

Overall, it's my go-to place near the extremely tame town of Cupertino. Chilling with my slice of green tea cake, or during a hot summer day, I'll take the huge bowl of patbingsoo, chattering away with friends. MMMMmmmmMMMM!

Although it is a bit pricier than the other Korean bakeries nearby, Paris Baguette has much fresher breads and pastries (although I don't know if the same can be said for the cakes and other desserts in the fridge display. But to be fair, many bakeries, Korean and non-Korean, do not always have very fresh cakes). The taste is comparable to the other bakeries, like Baker's Village in Han Kook Market, but their Choux Bread is BOMB. love love love!

Also, make sure to stop by during the summer for a giant pat bing soo (Korean shaved ice) ^^ They make it fresh on the spot, and it's HUGE.

Make sure you get one of their point cards! It adds up after a while, especially if you buy one of their cakes.

Stopped in here after lunch for a treat. So goooood!!

The decor is awesome, looks like a little cafe with baked goods/register to one side, and tables on the other. You grab a wooden tray and just walk around and pick out the treats that look best. I got a doughnut twist and a pecan cinnamon roll. Both were really fresh (I expect that since they get so busy, the treats are put out regularly). Had to take a star off because of the not so great cappuccino.

The restaurant is misnamed.  One would think it was a French bakery instead of an Asian.  So the reason for the 2 stars is that it isn't French, it's Asian.  It's good, but not great.  Over priced for what it is.  Probably won't come back.  There are better Asian bakeries out there.

Plus it was a cold day and I wanted soup, and of course they ran out...ummm...hello did you not listen to the forecast...COLD...people are going to want soup!

So, I managed to try out the Paris Baguette spot in Santa Clara. Yes, it has "Paris" and "Baguette" in its name, but from what I've read, Paris Baguette is actually a popular chain of bakeries/cafes in Korea and it has an Asian flair to various foods, not just French now. This is not a good place to be at if you're watching your carbohydrate intake. I'll say that right now. Despite the 4-star rating, it has eerie flaws that I'll get to in a bit.

The place is so pretty and the people are nice. (Yes guys, the clerk I had was cute.) One of the staff members actually cleaned up my accident when a pizza baguette fell over my tray. Oh, like Clover (a place in which I try to go to often), you must grab a tray and tongs, but unlike Clover, you also have paper to cover up your tray. Also, unlike Clover, it carries a point card system.

You have various items like the baguette obviously, the pizza baguette as I mentioned already, the croquette and the red bean pastry. The fruit and cheesecake pastry is so~ good. After reading the reviews prior, I regret not buying the shaved ice, patbingsu, but...winter started recently. So, there is a case after all in which I'm glad I didn't buy it.

As cute as this bakery is, it has real eerie flaws. It is pretty pricey to start off, but of course, the looks give that flaw off. I know the place is small, but you figure that there would be more items to choose from overall and what irks me more is that the place does not carry a lot of items with vegetables. I know that you don't think of vegetables when you think of cafes and bakeries, but if Clover can pull off many items with vegetables, so should Paris Baguette. Other than that, I can't say much else.

Paris Baguette is a good bakery for me to go to whenever I am in Santa Clara. The people are nice and the items are pretty cute also. If only it can fix up the severe selection limitations flaw at the very least.

+: The people are nice and not only is the place cute, so are the food items.

-: It's pretty pricey and the selection limitations flaw is a bit irritating.

Came in here to look for Green Tea and Sweet Potato cake. They were out of the whole cake but they had individual slices left. The staff are helpful and facility is clean and well kept. I don't know the rest of the pastries but the Green Tea Sweet Potato cake seemed overpriced at $34, I would have still bought it at that price since it would have been a gift for a good friend but I would probably not pay that price if it was for myself, then again, my friend tells me always over pay for a bottle of wine. I guess people with sweet tooth would think its worth it.   The slices were tiny and I was embarrassed to even give it as a gift. I can't say it was good since I did not try it but it looked good, I hope my friend enjoyed it.

I've been here a few times, and the bread is good enough so that I keep coming back though it's the slightest bit pricier than average and they have a little less variety than some. I like the environment and roomieness. The tables are usually not well cleaned off though. My friends loved their shaved ice, though I'm not a fan of the stuff.

It's funny how it has a french name nut it's an asian bakery.

Occasion: Picking up dessert after dinner

    What I Had:
    Sweet potato pie
    Custard bread
    Green tea chiffon cake

Food Review: I fell in love with Paris Baguette when I visited for the first time back in middle school, and I was ecstatic when I heard one opened on El Camino. They always switch up their pastries and breads, so there's always something new to try plus a good number of my classic favorites. The sweet potato pie was great, but I love anything in the potato and squash families so a little more sweet potato would have been nice. The custard bread was perfect. The texture of the custard bread is absolutely unbeatable. It's so soft I can barely tell I'm eating it until after I start chewing. The green tea chiffon cake had a little too much frosting for my liking, but I could taste the green tea so points there. And as always, all of these were the perfect sweetness. Korean bakeries have a way of making sure not to overdo the sugar so you can really taste the rest of the ingredients.

Service Review: It's grab-n-go, but the people here are always friendly.

Venue Review: There's indoor seating available for small groups of maybe 2-3 people, and plenty of parking outside in the plaza in front of Galleria Market.

Overall Impression: They've brought a motherland favorite to the South Bay's Koreatown, and if calories weren't an issue I'd sweep the place clean. For tarts, try Cocola in Santana Row, but for some really amazing sweet breads, this is the one and only.

Parlez-vouz Francais?  More like Parlez-vouz not Francais since it's an Asian bakery!  Just call me Kim Sam Soon!  An-yong-ha-se-yo!

Unfortunately it was too late in the day and all the good stuff was gone!  Not that there wasn't anything left cuz there were cases filled with plenty of breads and pastries but not just the stuff I was looking forward to trying.  No garlic or sweet toast, no croquettes anywhere to be found, no cheese rolls or tapioca bread or donuts either.  I did manage to walk away with some profiteroles filled with whip cream, a belgian waffle, 2 hot dog buns and a slice of strawberry chiffon cake.

Profiteroles - too soft and soggy from sitting out at room temperature instead of in the refrigerator case with the cakes
Belgian waffle - reminds me of the ones you buy in a box from costco
Hot dog bun - really good because of the sweet bread so it was a sweet and salty treat
Strawberry chiffon cake - I never got to try it because it disintegrated in the bag from the heat in the car

When we're in the area again we'll stop by and see what they have left. Hopefully they have more of what I wanted to try!  And hopefully my Daniel Henney aka Dr. Henry Kim will be there too (Sam-soon should've been with this hottie!!!!).

PUMPKIN MOCHI BREAD IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!

Their variation has slightly more crisp and a sprinkling of spices and sugar. Nice and chewy and rich on the inside, with real pumpkin.

Milk bread is also really good but you'll want to slice more thickly. They're so pillowy and soft that the bread literally sinks to a paper thinness when you bite into it.

Paris Baguette looks nice, modern and delicious, but when you actually try their selection, it's lacking. It's a case of "it looks better than it tastes"! Don't be fooled by the name, it's not as much French as it is Asian. If you go early, bins are filled with pastries which you grab yourself and put on a tray. It's reasonably priced, but I always leave unsatisfied, wishing I had gone somewhere else.

When I want to remember my "ultra-asian" days of boba slamming, kpop rocking, and karaoke dreaming, I come to Paris Baguette. The desserts are, truthfully, sub-par at best, but there's nostalgia to that nondescript bite of "is this cake or kitchen sponge" adorned with froo-froo branded chocolate.

Their milk bread is tasty, though, and highly recommend it for home renditions of honey toast, or alongside breakfast, or anytime if you're a toast lover like me.

Bonus points to get "asian glare" every time I go here with my non-asian boyfriend (props if you know what I mean).

I come here b/c of the cakes but sometimes you might get a slight stale one which sucks but the taste of the cake overwhelms it.  Remember to get your card stamped.

We went to Paris Baquette for their famous Korean Shaved Ice a couple years ago..but they were closing..so we went across the street.

Finally.. we were in the mood for shaved ice and were in the area.. and so we got their Fruit Shaved Ice, medium size...it was like $6.50 or 6.95

It took them  5-10 minutes to make it... and I became impatient..but then the order was ready and my eyes nearly popped out (no joke!)... seeing the humugous mountain of shaved ice with fruits beautifully arranged around the ice!!! Woaaaaaaaa....we should have ordered the mini one I guess!! geezzzz... the whole medium size.. could easily feed a family of four!!!

The bf had a bad experience with shaved ice before bc he kept getting brain freeze.. so he wasn't too excited digging into it this time around. But as soon as he had a scoop.. he just kept eating and saying.. "wow this is gooood!"

The fruits.. especially the kiwi was a bit sour... not their fault.. it's the fall season afterall..so kiwi is not in season any longer I guess..But we mixed the fruits with the sweet red azuki beans and it's a perfect combo of sweet and sour!! yummmmm!! There is a vanilla ice cream in the middle.. yummo!!!

We also took advantage in their "buy one get one free pastry"..and snagged a waffle and strawberry pastry for breakfast the next day. They were delish!!!

We will certainly come back here often for more of their shaved ice and other bakery goodness! yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!

It is an international franchise from Korea. Thus, I'm not sure  why they are named Paris Baguette.

When you enter, grab a tray and a pair of tongs before making you way among the baked goods. There is a numerous selection of them on the right side of the room. Once you purchased your items there is a big seating area on the left side of the room.

Curry Croquette- I didn't like that the outer layer was doughy. I was hoping it was crispy only.

Iced Green Tea Latte- For some reason it tasted like seaweed to me.

I really wanted a slice of cake but a slice was quite big.

A pretty nice bakery overall, but bakeries aren't really my thing.

I wish I could just gobble everything up from here.  That's what my eyes say.  The cakes are just perfect looking and cute to pretty to scrumptious looking.

But I'd say taste wise the cakes are just average.  Sweet and moist but I'm not sure about the texture of the cakes.  They aren't as spongy as I usually like my cakes.  I do think the cakes are not as sweet as most cakes and I'm a fan of that.

I came here for the shaved ice.  Yes, you get mounds of shaved ice and sides, but it's just okay. My fave part were the mochi balls on top.  I had the assortment of fresh fruit on top as well, but I can go without the pineapples.  If you're here for shaved ice, you come here for the quantity, not so much the quality.

I didn't get a chance to try the baked goods, but they looked okay.  I did, however, try the milk-yogurt in a bottle and that was not really what I expected - it was just a sweet based gulp of nothing special.

Overpriced cake which I have yet to try.  $5 for a slice of cake?  Their pastries are however good.  But I notice a lot of them are filled with cream cheese.  Can you say variety please?

The way to grab the pastries is also horrendous.  This is why I'm giving the place 3 stars.  The aisles are so big where people cut in front of you and have no regard for a line or if you came first or not.  I say nay for poor design!  It irritates the heck out of me how chaotic this place can be.
