SO- My boyfriend and I got stranded with car trouble in Montrose, Colorado (population 20,000) on our vacation. We took our car to the nearest place (Big O Tires), and after looking at the car and taking the wheel apart, the mechanics announced that we had to replace the bearings AND the spindle. These guys had seemed sketchy from the start, but looking at the spindle I could see NOTHING wrong.

So we called Parent's. They asked a bunch of questions, got the story, and told us we did not need to replace the spindle- that it was probably fine.

This saved us $400, and a day of waiting. Trusting your mechanic, and their wisdom, is so vitally important in these sorts of situations.

And the car still runs great- haven't had a single problem with it since, even though the guys at Big O Tires insisted we probably wouldn't even make it back to Denver.

Please. Get your car fixed here. These guys are amazing.
