We were a little early and asked if we could go in to the theatre early. They said, "yes". Nine of us went to see the Book Club. It was very clean in the entire theatre. I bought some popcorn and a drink. The popcorn was warm and fresh, just popped. The employees were very helpful, polite and nice. This is were they loose stars:there was no air blowing in the room whatsoever. On the way out, the gentleman asked us how everything was. I told him it was hot as hell in there. He told me the Air conditioner had been broken and that a man came out and fixed it. He told me it takes a day or two for it to cool off. The movie was great and everything else-EXCEPT FOR THE HEAT.

This was an awesome theater. With plenty of seating for you to choose from. There are a few seating options that you can select from; standard theater seating or reclining. I would highly recommend paying a little extra for the reclining seating. You are there to enjoy the movie be comfortable too!
The only bad thing about it is that some of the theaters seating is a bit off and hard to find that "perfect" seat.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 12, 2018
First, I will say that we stayed at the hotel directly attached to the shopping center area where the theater is located. It made it incredibly convenient.
They have a small room with 2 kiosks where you can purchase tickets near the entrance of the theater. It was easy to use. We saw 3 movies here while visiting Daytona Beach (because movies & food are our versions of a vacation) & 2 times, we purchased tickets with ease. We tried to purchase a 3rd time, but the movie was not listed and we had to go inside to purchase the ticket. Which lead to the 4 star, not a 5 star review.
Another reason that I couldn't give them 5 stars is that the seating is a little confusing because they have reclining seats, as well as regular seating, which can be a little difficult for 1st time visitors. It definitely took us a second time to pick better seats. There is an up-charge for reclining seats, but that's ok with me - I prefer to recline.
They also have a little pizza place inside the theater (My Pi), as well as regular concession items, where you can buy a pizza & take it into the movie with you. Heads up, there are no tables or anything inside the theater, so you'll just be holding the pizza in your lap if you take it in. You can always eat it before the movie or take 1 with you to go.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 29, 2016
5/5 for the employee who came to our rescue to wipe off our recliners, which were littered with crumbs and had what appeared to be popcorn butter smeared all over the backs of them. We would've been happy to just take some dry paper towels and wipe them down ourselves, but you washed and dried all four of them meticulously, all while being friendly and positive. You the real MVP. I wish I had seen your name tag so I could give you a real shoutout.
2/5 for... well, just about everything else, unfortunately. It wasn't a TERRIBLE experience. But it wasn't really a very good one either. This movie theater is in a kind of run-down, but still very touristy area. The theater seems quite worn down and in need of refurbishment. I found the numbers for the theaters were so small and unlit that they were practically impossible to see.
While I was super impressed and happy with the aforementioned employee, I was kind of disgusted by the seats when we got to our reserved recliners. I feel like if you're going to have leather recliners such as these you're going to HAVE to have wiping them down included in the theater turnover responsibilities between showings. I can only assume by the state of the theater that it wasn't cleaned between movies, something I would consider a must at any theater. The recliners were shiny with grease and had crumbs, M&Ms and other pieces of candy on the seats.
The projection was fine, but the screen appeared to be dirty, which showed through at certain points and was a little disconcerting. The sound quality was fine, not great.
The recliners were comfortable, as recliners generally are, but they weren't spectacular. I've been to a few AMCs that included recliners and was much more impressed by their comfort levels. The placement of these recliners was also extremely poorly thought out... All of the recliners (at least in our row) were so close to the walls behind them that if you went back too far, the leather would rub LOUDLY against the wall behind the chair, letting out an extremely disruptive squeaking noise. I mean like, even during the loudest parts of the film you could hear the squeaking over the soundtrack. I learned this because, though everyone in my party discovered not to push the recliner too far back BEFORE the movie began, there was a small child just next to us who continuously played with the buttons on his chair for the whole movie, causing near-constant squeaking.
Overall, not a terribly pleasant movie-going experience. But I guess I shouldn't have expected much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kari E.Daytona Beach, FL455717Jul 12, 2018
This place is awesome... not only are the movies presented on large screens while seated in big comfy recliner chairs and in uncrowded theaters, but last week I had an anxiety attack as the movie was starting and they gave me passes to come back when I was feeling better to watch the movie...we used them yesterday and it was awesome (we saw Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom)... although I am just now reviewing this place, I have been coming once every few weeks for the past several months, it is just with the exceptional empathy they have for people made me realize I needed to let my readers know.
Although the paid parking garage may scare people, parking is FREE if you see a movie... for a visit to the movies, you get 4 hours of parking, so that's plenty of time to shop or eat as well as the movie...before I learned this, I was afraid to come here because I hate to pay for parking...
They offer a military rate, however, currently every movie is $6 all day every day...that's cheaper than the value theaters. Enjoy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 28, 2015
This is a nice place to watch a movie and then go to the beach. The new stadium seats are great and worth the upgrade. You can also get a MiPi pizza for the movie. The regular seats are also comfortable as well if the movie you pick does not have the VIP seats. Make sure to bring your parking garage ticket for 3hr free of of the time spent.

Came here while on a short vaca. Bought tickets online for $7 for an evening movie, very affordable. We arrived and didn't see anyone in the ticket booth and no one was accepting tickets inside. Our movie was starting and since we knew we paid we just walked in and took a seat. Totally a weird feeling and kinda funny how low key everyone is, but hey whatever works.
They had these wonderfully plush leather seats we sunk into and snuggled up for our date. The theater was so clean and new.
If you've been to Daytona, you know parking can be a little tough. Park in the garage and make sure you get your parking ticket validated before you leave!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessika L.Altamonte Springs, FL13062Dec 20, 2016
Easy self ticketing. You can see how full the theater currently is booked and choose accordingly. You can also choose your seats among others that are currently taken. Tickets are fairly priced and reclining seats are very comfortable. They have concessions including pizza and beer. I went on a Monday night so it was not crowded and very quiet. I had a great experience and would return.
Only problem was we weren't informed we needed to bring the parking ticket to the theater counter to get validated for free parking. (I left it in the car). Had to pay $6 to park during the movie but now I have learned and hope that this can help someone else out to not make the same mistake!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
