4 reviews for Papou's Pizza
While I was in the city I went to a pizza place called Papou's Pizza. I ordered a slice of pizza and a pepperoni pinwheel. They both appeared to look good in the glass showcase. The pizza was good. The pizza reminded me of a pizza place in Florida named Times Square. I unwrapped the foil to find the bottom of my pinwheel black and crunchy. The inside didn't even taste good and the tomato sauce was to sweet.

Skip this place if in the neighborhood. Don't even waste your time. I was lured in by their anytime, 2 slices and a soda special for $4. I would rather have my $4 back. Pizza just isn't good, no other way to say it. Really low qualiy pie. I had a tough time finishing the two slices. Go elsewhere.
Very average pizza. Nothing exciting here. In fact, I made the terrible mistake of having the BBQ chicken pizza. In New York City. WHAT was I thinking? It was gross.
The cheese pizza was pretty good and the garlic "knobs" were actually really good. But it's just a typical chain-type place that lacks charm and character. If you're hungry and there's nothing else around - and you don't want to wait in line at Shake Shack (which was our case), then I guess this is an option. It just left me saying "eh".

can I give a place no stars? This pizza is terrible. I bought a slice drunk at 8 pm last Saturday (love day drinking!!) and even then I thought it was gross. It's just mushy and nasty and not tasty at all. even for street side pizza. I went back the next day to try a piece sober (in denial that pizza in NYC could be terrible). Natch. Still bad. SKIP.
