I hardly ever get all girly and gushy about a store, but Paperdolls isn't your normal store. If you're quasi-trendy and looking for a store that sells very cute and affordable clothes, you've met your match with Paperdolls. They sell the hottest brands that are difficult to find in STL; if you've seen it on the pages of InStyle magazine, chances are they have it at Paperdolls. I can't say enough good things about this place; you really need to go down and check it out!

I am not paying eleventybillion dollars for a pair of jeans. If I can't immediately find my size/cut of jeans on a rack, I probably won't purchase it... But I wonder (especially walking into PaperDolls): Can expensive jeans make you cool?
I probably won't try to find out, but it's nice to dream about alternate universes where my other Self is out buying expensive jeans and t-shirts...
But I'm selfish. Personally, I chalk this place up to mostly a women's store. There's a ton of options there ranging from club attire to indie-chic. The service is very knowledgeable and will help you out in any way possible when it comes to finding something.
Maybe I stressed the "expensive" factor a little too much. This place has a lot of sales just to move inventory, and does have some STL-based t-shirts in stock for a reasonable price. -

I love Love LOVE this store! Ok, so we go in to this perfectly pink retreat and the girl behind the counter has the coolest punky hair and makeup so that she looks like a punk version of a cover girl. She was beautiful and extremely friendly. The clothes are modern and yet some have a Japanese cartoonish 1980s edge, others have a hippie edge and still others have a sophisticated edge. The clothes are a bit pricey, but the jewelry is cheap and fabulous! I'm in love and my husband had to drag me out before I spent our food money here.
