You go in looking for paper and you come out with something really cool that you never though existed! So much more than just a stationary store! They're also really good about having kids in the store. If you're a mom who needs to do some business, they're totally chill with you letting you kids explore the store.

I was in the area and needed to find a birthday gift for a stationery-loving friend, so I thought I'd check out this store. It was near closing time, but the woman running the place let me run around and pick up a few things.
They did have some nice single cards off to the side, and I found a nice one fairly quickly. However, when I tried looking for stationery sets, they didn't seem to have much that looked appealing. I ended up finding some Waste Not Paper notecard sets that were nice, but otherwise there wasn't much to choose from.
They did have a lot of miscellaneous items, as well as wrapping paper, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I don't know if I'll return, but if you're in the area and like paper, it's worth a look around.
I would list the Paper Chase as one of my all time favorite stationery stores, but (strangely) I rarely buy anything there. They have a fun selection to browse and I especially love the little items around the cash register. Like other nearby stores, their hours aren't convenient.
Fascinating selection of stationary, gifts and cute kitschy things you'd never think of to buy - until you wander into this delightful store and see all the neat selection of stuff. It's similar to Letter Perfect in Palo Alto, only with a few more book-type gifts and whatnots. The staff is very courteous and again, the selection of interesting ephemera of gifts is outstanding. Perfect for your kitschy, wacky and varied gift giving needs.
