Pannikin was another one of my haunts back in the day... It's funny to see how one may no longer frequent coffeehouses religiously, but that doesn't mean that they disappear. The torch is merely passed on to the next generation, as it was passed on to us.
Pannikin feels cozy and comfortable, and they serve great coffee to boot! I remember coming in here more than once more than just for their coffee but to see what local artistic talent was displayed on their walls. Sadly, as a student, it was always outside of my budget, but I saw some incredible pieces of art adorn the walls of this coffeehouse.
Right across from its homonymous cafe lounge stands the second part of the business, which I happen to like better. Coffee and tea ware are for sale, as well as your favorite cup of Joe or infusion. I prefer it because of its cleanliness and practicality. Moreover, there is usually not many people in there, which is a highly attractive feature when you're in a hurry!
