I totally feel for those who have already reviewed this place and had an unfortunate experience. Please try again.
This is a staple for my work lunch crew... usually visited on Mondays. Yes, the place is busy -- I believe that says something positive about the place, don't you? It's not like this is Babu Bhat's Dream Café.
The creamy tomato soup here is great. Especially the bread crumbs that are in it. I always get the 'Pick Two' with the creamy tomato soup and recently the Sierra Turkey on Asiago Cheese Focaccia bread sandwhich. It's great. I usually always get a drink with it, as well as an extra piece of bread for dipping. The order always comes to $9.43.
I highly recommend the restaraunt, and even would recommend this one. There are usually the same employees working here, not a lot of turnover, so they know what they're doing, and IMO, they do it well. -

As a salesperson covering with a regional territory, I normally take advantage of Panera's free WiFi to write up trip reports and follow-up emails.
TODAY I DISCOVERED THAT PANERA HAS COVERED UP A MAJORITY OF THEIR POWER OUTLETS. I was shocked and discouraged by this move on their part to keep most-of-the-day squatters away.
I hope more companyies like WorkBar bring on-line more drop-in social/business space to help fill the void that Panera has just created. -

I love this Panera!
It was one of my favorite spots to skip class or have a girl bonding day with my ladies. It's also the first place I ever got flowers from a boy (1 month anniversary. Woot Woot! Classy.)
I always order the same 3 things: 1) Bacon Turkey Bravo. 2) Cheddar broccoli soup. 3) Tomato & mozzarella salad (when it's in season). Not all at once. My fat kid capacity isn't that high yet. They always get it right. Unlike other Panera's I've been to. They also keep a completely straight face no matter what ridiculous name I give them at the counter.
The recently redecorated which I don't think really worked out well for them. It kinda reminds me of a school cafeteria or something. But the food is still awesome so I'll just take it to go.
This is definitely one of the places I go out of my way to hit up while visiting mama dukes. -

Bacon Turkey Bravo w/ no tomatoes, extra spread, chips, and a lemonade FTW.
I have literally walked the mile and a half from my house to this Panera to satisfy a craving. The employees are always pleasant and quick.. even when the lines are out the door. Absolutely love this place.
***EDIT Sept 2010***
Ohhh Panera, how you've let me down recently.
It started with a visit - they were out of fountain soda. Ok, understandable... machine's break, you run out of fizzy water, syrup water.
Trip number 2 - I'm now pregnant and have a craving. (AKA GIVE IT TO ME NOW OR ELSE.) I was told they were out of frozen strawberry lemonade but someone was running downstairs to get more mix to make some. I pay. We get our food. I wait. Finally someone tells me they already used their allotted mix for that day, would I like a lemonade? Sure would. I would also like the $3 difference back. I am then told "Next time you come in let them know we were out of mix for it and they'll give you on free." Um, no. Refund my money now, thanks.
Trio number 3 - Nice cool evening, what better than a broc cheddar bread bowl for dinner. BUT WAIT, THEY ARE OUT OF BREAD BOWLS. Panera BREAD. Hmm...
I decide to settle for soup and a baguette on the side. Sorry, they are out of those, too.
I'm told they have something similar though. I should have checked before I left. Thanks for the slice of bread...
On top of that, the "fresh" cookies my Mother purchased this same visit were stale.
Taking away 3 stars for the above mentioned.
I probably won't be coming back here. Which is unfortunate as the next closest one is 14 miles away and I will not be making that trip anytime soon either.
Panera in North Andover, you've lost my business. :( -

Panera is always an old faithful.
I know that whenever I'm hungry for a good sandwich or cup of soup, I can go to Panera and get exactly what I want. Which is usually the Turkey Artichoke Sandwich and a cup of Broccoli and Cheese Soup. Their desserts and bagels are good too, and they have great cappuccinos and iced coffee drinks.
They have a few tables with umbrellas outside on the sidewalk which is nice but does overlook the parking lot, but hey at least there's the option to eat outed if you want to. And inside they have a variety of seating; from regular booths and tables, to couches and comfy chairs around a gas fireplace. (Note: it does get HOT sitting here!)
Another bonus is the free WiFi, and take advantage. It's one of the only places in North Andover that offers it. The does fill up quickly with Merrimack students and busy professionals around lunch time, but then tapers off considerably around 3ish, and then stays pretty quiet until closing at 9:00.Listed in: My Neighborhood

Good service, clean dining room and bathrooms, reliable internet service. Very busy during lunch and dinner rushes, so expect longer waits. Between rushes, service is very quick.

Went on May 5 place was slammed and completely unprepared for an average amount of customers. The kitchen was a pig pen with sandwiches scattered everywhere. Cooks screaming for bowls. Panera Bread was out of croutons and bread for their soup. How does someone not get fired for panera bread running out of bread. Panera bread can be a really good place to stop. I like their tomato soup and Mac and cheese. This store has proved again to be a complete cluster. If you have the option goto another branch of this fine chain.

Panera's a great place for lunch or a quick dinner. Everything is super fresh, and has a simple but great taste. Not the cheapest lunch, and when it's busy, you can't get any where near it. Lunch service in the Danvers location is the worst. Don't even try to call an order in after 11:00 am.

The sandwiches are good and there's actucally plenty of vegetarian options for folks like me. I love the soups (broccoli & cheese, onion, etc.). The cookies and desserts are pretty good too. I wasn't impressed with their crossiants. The service is good ( my friend Rob works there). Avoid the lunch rush on week days because the place fills up with yuppies and soccer moms!

Food was great. Wasn't welcomed warmly. Overall okay. While in the area, thought this was a great places to pop in and have breakfast. Upon entrance, they have an array of breads and pastries that look quite fresh. My mother and I decided on bagels and lattes. I had the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese which I do recommend, and my mother enjoyed her sesame bagel as well. The cashier on the other hand was not as warm as the bagels. She was rushing us (when there wasn't even a line behind me) and didn't offer suggestion when I had asked. She simply shrugged and said everything was good. Needless, the place is clean and the food and coffee are good. I would head back and hopefully find a new cashier, or the woman in a better mood.

Panera is always good, this specific location sometimes lacks. It's not terrible, it's just that each time I order something, they either never have it, or it's dry as a bone. I've had some good sandwiches here and there, but I simply stopped going to this location.

Love Turkey Bacon Bravo but more than once they've gotten my order wrong and I was too far away by the time I realized it.
Check your order before you leave the store. -

i adore panera bread. however, this particular location i am not too fond of, which is unfortunate since it is so close to my house. it is always extremely busy in there (especially lunch during the week). the food here always seems to be too dry here or just not the same as others i have been to. i still go here if i am craving something in particular, but honestly, i love the panera in lowell so much more.
