My coworker and I have an ongoing joke that we come here because it reminds me of my mom's cooking. It doesn't. But that's OK.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why I do come here. For the longest time I ate here MWF (I work at the hospital just a 5 minute walk away) and felt grossly bloated for an hour or so after. It didn't stop me though. For one reason or another, white-washed fried rice and eggplant tofu speak to me. And the bloaty feeling went away when I quit drinking a supersized diet Coke immediately after eating. Go figure.

The line moves ridiculously quickly and the food is pretty fresh. I don't ever crave it, but hey... just about anything beats cafeteria food.

I never quite understood why Panda Express made it big and other Chinese fast food chains don't. There's nothing I can think of about this place that's special in any way. If you're on campus and the other lines are longer, you can grab Panda Express in a rush... but it's certainly not anything I'd ever crave. Would much rather see the space taken up by some other type of vendor...

If your stuck at UCSD and sick of Rubios, Panda is a good option...It's not as nasty as the typical Panda Express.  The line is long but moves fast.  The food doesn't have time to sit under heat lamps.  Just about everyone orders orange chicken so it tends to be the freshest.

This panda express is the best one I've been to, the line moves very fast compared to others (I guess because they're used to serving a large amount of students) and offers some dishes that are not offered at other Panda Expresses. Good place!
