Impressed!
My husband and I don't have to bring our dog to daycare on a regular basis... and sadly, she doesn't get groomed as much as she should. So I took advantage of the "Hawt on Yelp" week and brought our dog in for a full spa day.
When I dropped Sasha off, I was hesitant because the outside of the building doesn't look like much - but I was greeted warmly... and Sasha was greeted warmly. Inside of the building are cute animal items, elementary school-equ boxes with each animals leash/collar and their name labeled above (adorable!). I must confess, I had a brief mommy moment when I was leaving and Sasha stared at me with sad eyes not wanting to be left! But she did great.
When I came to pick her up, they told me they had groomed her and then spent the day playing with her. Obvi. not typical, but our dog thoroughly enjoyed the attention! They were efficient, friendly and quick! I had a phone call less than a hour after she was dropped off saying she was ready to go! And they weren't unreasonably priced. + daycare during a spa visit is complimentary. Very convenient to drop Sasha off while I'm at work. When I arrive to pick Sasha up, she came out happy and excited. Normally, she'd be annoyed and frustrated with strangers - but the Pampered Pooch people are so friendly - she loved them!
I would definitely consider and recommen the Pampered Pooch for daycare and grooming.
Our pug, Trixie, came here while we went on a week long vacation. She loved it! The owners, Keith and Trycia, and the rest of the staff rock! Keith was readily available via email in making arrangements for our reservation ahead of time. The entire time we were gone, we looked forward to checking out how Trixie was doing via the webcam on the PPP website.
Not only did Trixie love visiting PPP, but she had the "PPP hangover" when she came home! She was exhausted!
PPP is constantly updating it's blog, facebook fan page, and is always involved in canine community activities.
Will be sending our dog back to PPP for future vacations.
I was able to bring in my 3 lb maltese, Gimchi for his first daycare experience today. I called them super late on Memorial day, and Keith returned my phone call in an hour. Impressive! He was very friendly on the phone and made me feel comfortable bringing in my puppy. I was able to send the first time registration form via e-mail, so it only took 5 minutes to enroll him in the morning. When I got to work, I was able to check out the play area through their web cam. It was good to see that Gimchi was running around and having so much fun with the other puppies.
The facility is clean. The owners/staff are friendly. The web cam to monitor your baby online is a huge plus. If you ever felt nervous about bringing your dog to a daycare, try them out. Especially while they are running the free evaluation promo. You will be so glad you did as you watch them have so much fun on the cool web cam! :)
If I owned a 'pooch' maybe, but I own a dog, darn it.
I wish I knew LESS about this place. It's bad enough that you people pay so much money for your dogs to have a private room to "watch tv" but even worse that you can watch it live from a webcam. Weird.

They have an iPhone application that RULES. Now I can watch my beagle's every move on the go!
If you do an overnight stay and upgrade to the suite, you can watch all night too!

Our high energy Springer Spaniel, Sully, runs to the door the minute he gets out of the car. The owners are friendly and there are trainers onsite. They have cameras too so you can watch him at work if you can get access. There is paperwork and an evaluation visit requried prior to a full visit. This part was annoying and made us feel like he was applying for prep school. However, it was nice to know that they may only take dogs that play well with others. The place does fill up, so make sure to call ahead.
This playground helps my guilt of being at work all day, I know Sully is safe and having fun..a tired and well socialized puppy...is a happy puppy.
I love love love PPP! The owners are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the facility is large and clean! It's great that they have a limit to the number of dogs each day so they can give the best service, and the dogs don't get overwhelmed. My dog is scared of big dogs, and they separate them both by size and play-style, so she fits right in with smaller, shyer dogs, and I don't have to worry about her being stressed out or getting hurt. Really can't say enough good things about this amazing daycare!
