I used to have a place in Davis back when I was a student, so when it came to having a small family reunion not to far from Davis I needed a place to crash.  Now most of my friends have since moved away and I think the days of me passing out on a questionably clean floor have long since passed...  I always knew of this hotel since it was located directly below Cafe Bernado

Naturally, I did revisit my old favorite watering hole, I was able to enjoy getting liquored up with a few old friends and by the end of the night I stumbled up the elevator to get back to my room!  No more did I have to have a friend sacrifice his/her evening as the DD...  No more did I have to face the horrid car ride back home, of having to deal with 7+ people in a little compact car and one of the people in the car is on the verge of yackin...  The room was really nice and clean, the sheets felt really soft and for the price, with my AAA discount it came to 60 something bucks.  They had a private lot that was underground, and they let myself and allowed me to have an additional spot for one of my friends.  The staff was really accommodating and immediately sent someone to the room to give us additional toilet paper and also fix a broken television set.  I am sure that during the times of graduation, picnic day and high school tour visits that this place will fill up quickly.  So for those special occasion book it early.  The continental breakfast  was a croissant, danish, a few pieces of fruit and coffee, nothing amazing but it was free, that's always makes something taste good.
