We ordered this pizza from work tonight. The crust was "thin" and yet lacked the cracker-y ness of thin crust pizza. Instead, the crust was oddly fluffy.
The sauce was weirdly sweet too. They threw in free pop though, which was nice.
But, it was hot pizza, so obviously I ate 3 pieces.
we ordered delivery lately cause the boyfriend had a craving for their italian beef sub. I wanted to try to but he said it would be "too spicy" for me.... I guess he was enjoying it too much to want to share. I actually enjoyed the cheese fries this time, they hit the spot. hot, yellow, generic "cheddar" cheese can sometimes hit the spot.
When ordering, we thought the lady said ROASTED chicken.... not the case. I heard the boyfriend say to her at least THREE times ROASTED chicken: she didn't try to correct him. I haven't been eating fried food & was highly dissapointed that my roasted chicken turned out to be fried chicken. Someone with a wicked craving for a fried chicken meal might go for this, but it wasn't for me.
$7 will get you 4 pieces of fried chicken, small fries, a little tiny *sour* cup of cole slaw & a piece of their bread they also use for the sandwiches... weird.

I know I must seem like a real jerk for giving these guys only one star. But, I feel like I need to spare people the aggravation I've experienced with this place. The stuffed pizza is excellent, but everything else is, well, mediocre. Especially considering that Cicero has some of the best pizza places in all of the Chicago area. And despite their stuffed pizza being so good, it simply isn't worth the experience of dealing with the most non-functioning people employed by any pizza place, perhaps, in the country...? Let me explain my complaints with the service...
1. I ordered a pizza for delivery, and I said over the phone that I only had a $100 bill. I was told that that was fine, but when the delivery driver came to my door, he refused to take it saying that he didn't have enough change. He told me that he'd take the pizza with him, and that I could "pick it up at the store".
2. Not once, but twice...TWICE...six months apart at that...I ordered a stuffed pizza, the only type of pizza I would dare order from this place ('cause everything else stinks)...and they gave me a pan pizza instead. But here's what really got me. When I pointed out that they screwed up my order, the first time the lady responded with, and I quote, "So what? What do you want me to do about it?" So I just let it go. And the second time this happened, I actually brought the pizza back in. The lady behind the counter had to "talk to her boss", who was this dirty guy sitting at a booth in the restaurant. He looked at me and then shook his head "no", like I was trying to con them out of something.
3. And as crazy as I might be for having gone back (like I said the stuffed pizza is really good), I did for one last time...AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS IS THE LAST TIME!!!! Because I ordered a pizza, and then after they delivered it to me, and I paid for it and everything, they called me a half-hour later saying that they didn't charge me as much as they should have for the pizza (i.e. they made a mistake), and they asked me to come in and pay them more money...?!!! When I hung up the phone, they called back three more times!!!!
I don't know what kind of iron-fisted, customer-hating owner this place has, or how some customer abused him/her as a child, but I will say it's not worth going into battle with them just to order a freakin' pizza. Especially in this city of all places.
So if you really feel like taking a walk on the wild side, this is your place. But for most of us who'd like to just order a pizza in peace, I'd recommend you keep your blood-pressure down by going elsewhere.
pretty good stuff here. like option to have your pizza made extra thin, reg, or extra thick. extra sauce also available. best feature is that every pizza comes with soda. 12-14 comes with a 1 liter, 16+ comes with a 2 liter. my personal rec is extra thin, extra sauce. its a sweet sauce similar to dagaostinos, but not quite as good. fast delivery, cicero to forest park was 40 min. reccomended for sure.
