1 review for Paddy's Pour House
Seriously, no reviews? I'd bet it's because this gem is hidden on a quiet street in Carnegie. I love Paddy's. It's definitely your traditional Irish Pub...not some kitchy Irish place where the food's as fake as the decor. Nope, this is the real deal.
The food is probably the best Irish food I've had in Pittsburgh. You have to try the Sampler, which has a side of colcannon and a crock of either Shin and Guinness or Irish Stew. Both stews are thick and hearty and the colcannon is full of flavor and buttery. Their shepherd's pie is also amazing. They bring out a huge platter with a homemade bottom crust, filling of ground beef, gravy, and veggies, topped with creamy homemade mashed potatoes.
Fun, live Irish bands on the weekends.
