This place is 5 min from my work, so I stopped in here on a mid-week afternoon; turns out they were having a "happy hour" special with everything 20% off - Score! I really love this store because it really has all your needs for packaging, wrapping, and presentation. I bought gift wrap, ribbon, and a lovely rose/flower thing to wrap my best friend's wedding gifts; my friend loved it so much she decided my presents were the first to be unwrapped as a married woman with her new hubby. (Guess that means I'm a super-fantastic stylish wrapper and PS has great products.)
Seriously, all kinds of ribbon (textures, colors, fabric), chinese takeout boxes, standard jewelry boxes, wine holders, boxes of any dimensions you would possibly need, gift wrap and flowers...man, I love this store. Makes the imagination go wild, and the staff is very nice.
This place makes me feel like an ass for wrapping everyone's presents in leftover issues of The Stranger.
The cool thing about the store is that it's not fancy. It's more like a warehouse (albeit a small warehouse) of ribbons, and bows, and tubes of wrapping paper, and good ideas.
This store is so great. They have a large selection of ribbon and bags and boxes. I got everything I needed here to finish putting together my bff's 30th birthday surprise. I'm so glad to have this store right in Georgetown next to my work. The lady at the counter was very nice to carefully roll up the single sheets of tissue paper I bought, before adding air to the bag & tying so nothing would get crushed. Good to know great customer service still lives on. I'll definitely be back.
This is my heaven!
And today they saved my butt when I needed 3000 sheets of "natural" tissue paper STAT for gift bags. Baboom! One phone call and I've got it.
The store is laid out beautifully, and they have the simplest yet loveliest things.
It's a pleasure doing business there, whether you're a crafter or you just need to pick up some wrapping paper or gorgeous ribbon. Keep it in mind!
I just bought 30 feet of bubble wrap - & they wrapped that with a big red bow for me!

Everything you could ever need in a zillion years to wrap a package. Papers, ribbons, bows, tapes, boxes, and so much more.
They offer lots of classes that have small student:teacher ratios - making learning easy and fun! I've taken a few of the card making classes and always leave with a zillion more ideas than I came in with and a few finished products.
I love the selection of crafting supplies - the ribbon selection itself is staggering!
