The Pacific Waters Spa is an amazing spa. The customer service here is wonderful, and the spa has really great amenities.

When I walked through the doors of Pacific Waters Spa, I was warmly welcomed by the spa's receptionist.  I hadn't been to this spa in many years, and I was really ready for some rest and relaxation.

The person who showed me around the spa was also very friendly and accommodating. Pacific Waters is so different than many other hotel spas in that everyone is so nice and helpful. When I was finally set up with my robe and slippers, it was time to relax!

Thank goodness for the great massage therapist. The therapist (I think her name was Jade) helped me pick out an aromatherapy scent, and I decided on Lavender. Since I tend to get migraines, she focused on my neck and shoulders. Like the rest of the staff here, she was also patient and kind.

The lounge is beautiful, with a fireplace and doors that lead to an adorable little patio. It was nice to unwind with a magazine to the gentle sound of music. The spa also has a steam room, sauna, and hot tub. Although I didn't spend time at these amenities, it will be nice to enjoy these on the next visit when I have more time.

The spa has reasonable prices and occasionally offers special packages. If you stay the hotel, you can sometimes find a package that includes a spa treatment with your stay.  If you're a local, there is also a discounted membership.

With the reasonable prices and excellent service, Pacific Waters is definitely one of the nicest spas in Orange County!

great customer service and amenities, however, for the money I paid to get a 60 minute facial..I would have been more relaxed and had a better experience going to my local nothing special spa..the therapist I had talked the whole time, and was nothing special to the touch.

..I would come back here to use the sauna/ spa but I will never get another service done here again.

    ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!

This place doesn't have to be expensive!!! $35 for a day pass! This includes all of the following:

    Access to the spa's amenities
    indoor salt water hot-tub
    Sauna
    Steam Room
    Relaxation Room/patio
    Waterfall Showers
Huge Vanity Mirrors with all girly essentials (hair spray, hair dryer, lotion, ect)
    Fitness Area (most awesome treadmills)
Pools & Water slides (double check on that though, I didn't use those)

Comfortable robes, shoes and lockers are provided. Very clean and beautiful spa, service was nice and the water with fresh berries, tea and coffee were a nice treat. I brought all of my own pamper equipment including giving myself a facial :P, I brought my own hair essentials because their products seemed a little cheap. Body wash smelled really good, and so did the lotion.  I stayed in my bikini most of the time but they said its a clothing optional spa. Everything was amazing....This is a great idea if you have the day off and a few hours to kill and feel like relaxing.

BEST GIFT EVER!!!!!!!! AGAIN ONLY $35, I seriously even debated yelping this because I don't want it to be too crowded next time I go ;)

Very small spa, but very relaxing. I had my bachelorette spa day here, too, so I'm familiar with the grounds. The spa is tucked away in a corner of the hotel, which is nice because you don't have the foot traffic.
There is a fitness room, hot and steam sauna, spa pool (large), and lounge area with inside and outside seating. There is also a patio area off of the gym room which is nice for sitting and chatting or reading.
There spa amenities are located in very quiet rooms behind the front desk area and are easily accessed from the lounge room.
Lockers provided with sandals and robes (normal), dressing room is well kept and clean, bathrooms are clean and smell wonderful, make-up area is nicely maintained.
99% of the staff is nice (minus the typical one or two individuals who aren't friendly). Overall the spa is great, especially since there are limited spa options in the immediate area.

This is the place to go if you are looking to be pampered. This is the ultimate spa. Sauna's, lockers, mahagony, whirlpool, relaxation lounge, lime/orange water, views of the ocean. It has it all.  I got a 45 min signature massage. Marin was wonderful and worked out the stress.

This place is amazing, but be ready to drop some dollar, dollar bills y'all. This place is NOT cheap.

Sometimes life will chew me up and spit me out and leave me in a pile of misery on the floor of an apartment I haven't had time to clean in months. This is when it is time for me to take a trip to the spa for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Such an event coincided recently with the joyous occassion of my one year anniversary. We decided to get away, and the honey booked a room at the Hyatt Recency, a lovely hotel. And upon doing some research, I discovered that they had a great spa. I will say up front, it is not cheap, this is the full spa feel, and thus so is the price tag, but it is worth every penny.

We arrived at the spa crossing the beautiful koi pond and through the double doors of the reception area. The staff quickly greeted us with a friendly smile. We checked in and in no time, we were showed to our respective locker rooms. Robes, slippers and everything we needed was provided. The added bonus of dried fruit, nuts, water and detox tea was certainly a plus.

After getting situated, I awaited my treatment in their tranquility room where lounges and magazines created a very relaxing and calming feel. After about 10 minutes, my therapist got me while my honey's therapist escorted him to our couples treatment room. Within minutes of the massage I was beginning to melt. The quality of massage was as good as I have ever had. Exellent amount of pressure, constant contact and fluid motions. She was very aware of each movement she made and was sure to check on me every step of the way. The 90 minutes flew by and by the end, I was back to myself, renewed and happy.

But that was not all, the package I had booked included a coconut milk bath soak for two for 30 minutes. We were escorted to our room where they had already set up the bath which was perfectly sized for the two of us. They also had bath salts, cold towels and fresh fruit and tea laid out for us to enjoy.

Once we finished our booked treatments, we enjoyed the other facilites like the sauna, steam room and hot tub. These are included in your service and you can use them as much as you like. Also, as a hotel guest, you can use them for free as well for the duration of your stay! The only downfall to that would be that it opens up the spa to young teens who don't know how the sauna and steam room works and like to turn dials and push buttons, which in my case ruined by steam room experience.

Overall, this is a great spa, and the massage was absolutely to die for. If you are planning a trip to Huntington Beach, I suggest you stay at this hotel and take advantage of everything they have to offer. If you live close by, check the spa out for a mini get away from reality, you won't regret it.

Bliss. Relaxation. Relief. Pamper. Indulge. Rejuvenate.

Now that I'm done bombarding you with cliché spa jargon we can move on. Folks tend to read only a few sentences of a review, figured I'd get my points in early.

After arriving at the hotel we headed straight to the spa, eagerly anticipating our couples massage paired with a coconut water soak. Walking across the small bridge, koi fish swimming frantically underfoot, I had a vision this was going to be a good visit. It didn't turn out good though, it turned out great.

Every step was a delight. The massage quality was exceptional. The staff, perfectly courteous. Dried fruits, nuts, and beverages through the changing areas. We sipped tea on the patio wrapped in warm robes. Even during our private coconut water soak we found a platter of sliced fresh fruits awaiting us.

I know we were there for quite a few hours, yet when I try to recall everything it seems to have gone by so quickly. I suppose that's the "time flies when you're having fun" coming into play. I suggest you take your time, after your treatments each changing area has a dry sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Why not extend the relaxation? It's included, go crazy, and if you're staying at the hotel you can come back any day during your stay, not just during your spa service.

    Perfect.

    Price
    - $49 for 30 minutes Seaside Signature massage & 30 minutes Pure Results facials courtesy of Groupon (regular price is $160)

    Quality of massage therapist
    - To this day, I still remember the name of my therapist which means he was really good. Ask for Tassos. He's awesome.
    - Don't remember the name of my esthetician. I usually remember names of people who causes me so much pain so I can plan vengeance later on. She was really thorough with cleaning my face. The process hurt a lot but you know what they say, "beauty is pain".

    Ambiance / Spa Facility
    - The spa facility was nice. Plenty of lockers to store your personal things. Jacuzzi was nice but it would be nicer to have pools with different temperatures (like Korean spas).
    - Free snacks and tea. Dried apricot was yummy!
    - Small but comfortable lounge area

    Hygiene and Cleanliness
    - Very clean as expected of an expensive spa.

Overall a terrific deal for the discounted price. I can understand why people would want to pay the regular price to come here but it's too expensive for me to visit this spa on regular basis.

Just the place you want to be if you're looking for a pampering day.  A small spa inside the Hyatt but it has alot of amenities. I used the sauna, steam room, salt water hot-tub, shower with all the essentials provided, relaxation/waiting area for facial and massage appts.  There's also a pool and fitness area which I did not use. The facial  just felt soooooo good. The massage was a lil on the hard side for me but I'm a wimp.

Great staff. If it weren't so pricey, I'ld come here more often. They validate valet so that's a great perk!

Love this spa. I go to Glen Ivy Hot Springs about 6-8 times a year and that place is great for relaxing and fun girl time with lots of sun and mixed drinks.  Pacific Waters is another kind of relaxing that I definitely need a couple times a year. It's small and quiet, but the amenities make it special. You need to walk through the beautiful ocean-front hotel grounds to get to the spa, cross a small bridge over a koi pond and enter the spa. After checking into the front desk, an attendant meets you in the lobby to take you into your respective side of the spa. There are beautiful dark wood lockers and private change rooms. The spa has a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, showers, and relaxation room. They offer complimentary water, hot tea, detoxifying iced tea, some mixed nuts and dried berries too. I've had facials and massages at the spa and have always been so pleased with my therapists and estheticians. I've always had the signature seaside massage and I've never been let down.

Purchased a couples massage to start our new year off right.  My masseuse, an older blond woman with a slight European accent, was ok...I mean, nothing really to write home about.  Actually, what I do remember is her knocking into the cabinetry against the wall, not once but twice & loud too!  It startled me both times.  She also began coughing during my service which caused her to stop massaging me so she could grab some water.  For what I paid for, I was expecting perfection and it wasn't even near great.  Just O.K.  My boyfriend enjoyed his so much (female masseuse possibly of Indian decent) that he fell asleep a few times but admitted to being woken up by all the noise my masseuse made.

The spa was clean and quiet.  Dried fruit, assorted nuts, hot tea & citrus infused chilled water...typical spa fare.  The sauna on the ladies side wasn't working...it just wasn't hot at all.  I snuck over to the gauge on the wall & noticed a sign taped over the sauna control which read "do not adjust temp." What's a spa without a good working sauna?!

After our massage we stepped into a room with a shower & a nice jacuzzi tube with different bath salts to add as desired to our coconut milk bath.  It was a very soothing post-massage experience as we soaked together & indulged in a complimentary fresh fruit platter.

I would give this place another go but on a discounted rate...a Groupon perhaps, as paying full price for a mediocre couples massage experience is not something I would care to do again.

This spa is ahhhh-mazing.  I brought my mom here as part of her Mother's day gift.  We arrived and the girl at the front counter got us checked in. She then handed us off to another girl who took us back and got our locker keys then gave us a brief tour of the facilities.  We grabbed our slippers and robes, we were ready...That Calgon take me away kind of ready.

We poured some tea and got little cups of snacks and headed to the relaxation room.  It was empty and so was the patio area.  I grabbed the chaise in the sun and mom in the shade.  I love laying in the warm sun especially on a cool, windy day.  Now that was heaven.  We eventually moved inside so other women were able to enjoy the patio as well.

They called us for our massages. I had the 30-minute Seaside Signature Massage ($75) with Kit. She was very attentive to my needs/problem areas and by the time she was done I was jello.  I went back into the relaxation room and waited for my mom who shortly came out after with massage hair, looking relaxed as well.  We relaxed and talked for a bit longer until they called us for our facials.

It was then time to go for my facial.  I ordered the 30-minute Pure Results Facial ($85).  I didn't catch the name of the lady that gave me my facial, but she was nice.  I really liked the products that she used, they made my face feel very hydrated and wonderful.  What I didn't care for was how she sort of just slathered it around my face.  Whenever I get facials from my friend Bre she takes her time and gives a nice face massage along with adding products.

They have some really great amenities when you purchase spa service(s).  You have access to their fitness center and swimming pool as well as the amenities in the spa area (sea salt jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, showers, etc)  Definitely a great place for a spa day!

Went here because I had purchased a Groupon deal for a massage and facial - it was awesome! The Hyatt Regency HB is a beautiful Hyatt property and the spa is also wonderful! We started at the gym after we checked in - its small, but has everything a typical hotel gym room would offer. New machines and equipment, it could use more windows to look out since it is just across from the beach. The locker room and amenities are very nice, spacious and always restocked. There is even a small outdoor sitting area to catch some sun. I am always skeptical about the treatments purchased via Groupon. Since you are getting such a deal, sometimes they skimp on service. But not with this experience, the massage while only 30 minutes was great - the therapist knew it was a short time so she asked me what I really wanted her to focus on. The facial was one of the best facials I've had - although they did upgrade me b/c they ran out of facial treatment rooms, they had to make do with a hydra room - so they gave me an upgraded facial service. I don't know if it would have really mattered, but the service was still great. All the staff were friendly and pleasant and I really found no complaints!

I would have to say this is the best spa that I've been to- HANDS DOWN! Move out of the way Burke Williams, Glen Ivy and Spa Gregorie's - Pacific Waters Spa is the crème de la crème, the quintessence, the absolute standard of how a spa experience should be.

If I wasn't in a committed relationship, I would seriously consider running away with Amber. She was so accommodating & in tune with my needs and had the most amazing hands! She's got the magic touch and knows my hot spots (which is a lot more than I can say for some former lovers!).

I love that the spa is separated from the hotel which lends the feeling of seclusion and remoteness. Once you enter, a calmness and sense of peace envelopes you and it's carried throughout your whole experience.

There weren't a lot of patrons on the Friday that I went, so I had the spa, steam room and sauna all to myself- ahhhhh... total relaxation. And I must say that the amenities are the bee's knees- they are super spacious (enough to fit 8-10 people comfortably) so you don't feel claustrophobic or impeding on people's personal space.

After my appointment, I felt rejuvenated and like a whole new person. I just wish they were a tad more affordable or have more specials (we are in a recession people) so that I could enjoy the benefits of a really good massage more frequently. A girl deserves this Cinderella treatment once in a while!

Finally finished up my gift certificate that I've had for 4 years! Yes I've been a busy during my grad school program...but I have to say that I had a great time...though I wish I had spend a little more time relaxing as it was my actual birthday..I was in such a rush...but I did like the fact that valet parking was validated...it's costs $15 during weekdays..

The massage was very good and relaxing and the amenities are awesome! I only wished they had hair dryers there...I couldn't find one and hoped to dry my hair after my shower...

My mom (who was a first timer at the spa) and I had the best time on Saturday. Not only was there staff very accommodating and nice they were very professional and made it a fabulous afternoon.  I had one of the best facials ever!  My mom had a massage and pedicure both of which she loved!

The Detox water that they offer is really good and refreshing.  I  really liked the large sauna and steam room, great locker area w/lots of amenities. The patio area where we were served our lunch was beautiful and relaxing, huge chaise lounge chairs and a fire pit and a waterfall. Awesome!

I can't wait to go back, and neither can my mom!

My friend and I decided to give Pacific Waters Spa a try this weekend. We both booked 60 minute deep tissue massages and arrived a couple hours early to enjoy the other spa amenities. A bonus to this spa is the outdoor co-ed area, so if you come with your significant other you can both relax and enjoy food and drinks together. There is also a fire pit which adds to the overall outdoor experience, especially towards the afternoon and evening.

The salt water jacuzzi and steam room are probably my two favorite things about this spa. Both are spacious, clean and relaxing. However, be careful with where you leave your robe and your keys as mine were accidentally picked up by another woman.

When it was time for our massages, we were both ushered off to our rooms by our massage therapists. The setting was tranquil and my therapist was friendly. However, I was disappointed to learn later from my friend that her therapist actually spent more time on her and also offered her coupons for her next visit, so I suppose your experience could vary depending on who your therapist is. It costs $150 for the massage, so I felt somewhat cheated on my experience.

I was also surprised to see that the spa did not have small conveniences available, such as hair ties, hair brushes (they supplied pocket combs) and other hair accessories.

Overall, I would rate this experience a 3 out of 5 stars. It's still a great spa and I wouldn't mind coming back for their $35 day pass, but I wasn't impressed enough to come back for a service at their regular prices.

I've yet to try the services at this spa, but I've been to the lobby and drooled over the treatment menu!

No, seriously, the location and grounds of this hotel are gorgeous, and the spa is just a luxurious as you might expect. The decor is meant to evoke an early California estate: coved doorways, wrought iron sconces, raised tile, muted colors. It is in perfect keeping with the Hyatt Regency, which did an excellent job of making new development fit into a classic California beach town.

I love the products they use. Eminence, which is an all-natural line from Hungary, and has such tempting names (Yam-Pumpkin Enzyme Peel, Poppy Seed & Pear Scrub, and Carrot Vitamin Mask), you almost want to lick them off your face!

But you won't starve while you're there relaxing with that glycolic peel on your face. The freebies they give are nice touches: dried fruit and nuts; herbal ice teas, cucumber water. Everything looks professional and top-notch, as if no expense were spared. Adjacent to the showers (private, large, and pristine), is a secluded chill-out room with paded lounge chairs. Very nice. I could get used to a place like this!

I love this spa!  I've been to Pacific Waters Spa twice and had a lovely experience both times.  Since its nestled within the lovely property of the Huntington Beach Hyatt, to get to the spa, you have to walk through the gounds of the hotel.  Outside of the spa, there is small bridge over a nice koi pond... very nice and tranquil indeed.  The amenities are lovely and include a large steam room, sauna, and hot tub.  The showers are spacious and have a large dressing area within.  There is a large outdoor patio with comfy chairs and a fire place -- perfect for some relaxation with a cup of hot tea.  Speaking of which, the spa offers hot tea, refreshing flavored water, dried fruits and nuts.

Both massages that I've gotten at Pacific Waters Spa on separate occasions were great.  I love their heated massage beds and the fact that you get a choice between scented and unscented oils.  The staff is friendly and are always around in case you need anything.

Other nice perks about this spa include: 1) free valet parking for 3 hrs when you visit the spa; and 2) when you use the spa, you also get access to the hotel's pool area -- which is a great place to lay out, get a nice tan and perhaps even a refreshing drink or a snack from the pool area bar.

Minor areas in which this spa can improve on: 1) it'd be nice if the spa had better toilettries and bath products (i.e. hair styling products, etc.); 2) lockers can be updated (they still have the ones which require a key instead of a combination); and 3) the shower I used once was out of body soap, which was really irritating.

All in all, Pacific Waters Spa is my favorite spa in Orange County and I can't wait to return!

This was my 2nd time visiting the spa. It was a wonderful experience.
I had purchased a 1/2 hour facial and 1/2 massage from groupon for $49 deal. It was so worth it, the staff and amenities were excellent. I relaxed in the hot tub and steam room, then off for a refreshing massage.
they offer teas, snacks and a nice waiting area.

2 stars because the massage was decent. However the service and spa were not at all on par with the prices. My husband and I booked very last minute couples massage for $290 plus the added 18% tip, so $340 for 60 min. massage. We arrived early so that we could enjoy the amenities. We had to wait 5 minutes for the one person working the front to finish up with people who were checking out. We were not warmly greeted- not off to a good start. Finally shown back into the spa. It looked nice. I used the spa and steam room. Went to the quiet room to wait for therapist. No hot water for tea- it was cold. Therapist comes back and shows me to room. During the massage, she had to stop 3 times to blow her nose. She did wash her hands after each time, but it still made it very hard to relax and enjoy when you can tell she is sick! She coughed a few times a well. It not only took aways a few minutes from the massage, but broke it up as well, and very distracting!

After the massage, I went back to enjoy the spa area, and really began to notice that they must have been short staffed. There were towels and drink glasses piled up. I went to use the dry sauna and it was not working. I could not find an attendant. I then went to use the rain shower and it was also out of order (this one had a sign on it). The regular showers had very low water pressure, the body wash was out and the shampoo and conditioner seemed cheap (no labels as to what brand they are). There were used washcloths in the shower and hair, so again, you could see the lack of service/cleanliness going on.

I cannot believe we spent so much money for this! I have had way better service for half the cost! We won't be back.

i love this spa!!  it's located inside the hyatt regency on pch...parking is all valet but you can get it validated for up to 3 hours w/o having to pay.

the entire hotel is beautiful and the spa is no exception...walk past the pool, fountains and koi pond to get to the spa.  inside the decor is very rich and very clean. there are lockers to keep your personal items with slippers and bathrobe.

amenities include steam room, sauna, showers, jacuzzi and vanities with various items such as combs, lotion, hair spray, hair dryers, etc.  they offer cucumber water, various teas and usually have snacks such as trail mix or fresh fruit.  the relaxation room is one of the best i've seen...it's fairly large and the chairs are spaced out so you're not cramped with a bunch of other strangers.

i've had various treatments here including facials, body scrubs/wraps and stone massages...i've loved everything!  the treatment rooms are very clean (i've been to other spas with mold on tile) and every therapist i've had has been friendly.

i will admit that the prices here are a bit higher than other spas, but i do feel it is worth the money to get more cleanliness and service.  it is one of my favorite spas in orange county and i plan to return again and again.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Pacific Waters Spa. Normally, I can't afford this spa, but I took full advantage of Spa Week and was able to treat my mom and myself to a day at Pacific Waters and a swedish massage for $50/per person. Really, I'm a lucky girl!
We drove up to valet and took in the BEAUTIFUL hotel. Headed straight for the spa. The friendly and helpful staff members welcomed us and brought me us into the locker room. Once there they took us on a tour of the spa, showed us all the amenities (salt water jacuzzi, two saunas, relaxation room, showers, lots of complimentary stuff--shampoo, conditioner, lotion, water, some nasty detox drink, tea, fruit, nuts, dried fruit, coffee etc), and gave me a key to my locker. We headed straight for the hotel pool and tanned for a few hours. It started to get a little chilly so I went inside and hit up the salt water jacuzzi--really relaxing and my skin felt smooth smooth smooth after I got out. Next, went for the sauna--normally not my thing--but I thought I'd give it a try. After about ten incredibly sweaty minutes I needed to get out... and enjoyed some complimentary water and fruit. Showered--snuggled into the very comfy robe and went into the relaxation room to wait for my massage and hang out with my mom.
Aaahhhhh my massage. Tim, who is an EXCELLENT masseuse, was wonderfulllllll. I was so relaxed and in such a happy peaceful place ;)
    Massage ended :(
Left the spa and decided to have lattes and dessert with my mom at a hotel restaurant. Yummy food, excellent lattes, beautiful restaurant/view of the beach, great service....

Go too Pacific Waters Spa. It's a wonderful place!

I have to say I used a groupon so I got the half hour massage followed by half hour facial.  Grounds are gorgeous (its a Hyatt) but finding the spa took awhile.  The staff are very friendly.  The quiet room was almost my favorite part, cute little patio, comfy chairs, fireplace... the massage was tepid and the facial brusque.  I also find it odd such a high end hotel had no real amenities for when you're cleaning up to go; bad lighting, no hair products to speak of, no brushes, the combs were tiny and cheap which wouldn't work for most women... I don't know.  I thought it was just ok.

Date of service: Monday 2/7/2011.  Had a 60 minute Swedish massage after the Surf City Marathon.  We were guests of the hotel & at check in, we were told we can use the spa's amenities at no charge during our stay. I arrived at the spa an hour early and was escorted to the ladies area.  I was given a brief tour and assigned a locker with a nice robe and slippers.  I was told it is a clothing optional spa, but everyone had on their bathing suits even in the saunas.  I used the salt water hot tub for a bit and then grabbed a cup of tea and a biscuit and sat in the outdoor quiet room.  Very relaxing and I fell asleep for a bit - they have a soothing waterfall in that area.  My massage was very nice - no problems.  After, I used the steam sauna, dry sauna, and rainfall shower (to clean off the massage oil).  I did use the provided shampoo and conditioner and they seemed rather cheap (provided in large pump bottles with no brand labels).  The entire spa area was clean - no dirty towels, cups/glasses, or plates laying around.  Food and drink was refreshed often and fresh.  The attendant was constantly supplying fresh towels and keeping everything clean (unlike my experience at the spa at The MGM in Las Vegas - very dirty with used towels everywhere).  The only drawback - I used their provided hair comb and it was tiny - hardly useful on my thick hair.  They do provide: combs, Q-tips, cotton balls, lotion, shave gel, razors, and shower caps.  No hair dryers though.  Overall - great experience and I would go back for another day at the spa.

Also - did a surf and spa package - included a surf lesson and 60 minute Swedish massage.  When I got there, the receptionist mentioned she looked into the package and mentioned it did NOT include gratuity for my massage therapsit (which I figured).  When I went to check out, a different receptionist handed my cash tip back to me and said it is included in the price of the massage.  I explained what I was told earlier.  Nobody seemed to know the answer and I waited about 20 minutes for it to get straightened out.  Guess it is not popular package.

Located inside Hyatt Regency (it's a walk from the entrance), you'll pass by the pool and a small koi pond before you enter the Pacific Waters Spa. I came here to try their swedish massage for the first time with the $50 promotional spa week (sign up at http://www.spaweek.org). The facilities are nice and classier that my experience at Burke Williams. They have nice amenities- they provide you with a robe and slippers and a locker to place your items. They also have a sauna and steam room as well as a nice salt water jacuzzi (salt water is supposed to be good for cleaning your skin) with shower and stuff to make you look pretty (hair gels, lotions, blow dryers, etc) and light snacks (nuts, dried fruit, fruit, different types of tea tho' my fave is cucumber water). The massage itself was relaxing but the lady would not give me more pressure b/c it was a "promotional deal." This service is normally $130 which to be honest, is rather pricey but it is the hyatt. It was not too crowded for a Saturday morning. Valet is free with spa services (up to 3 hours). I'll come back again...during another spa week promotion =). Also, they have a patio area where you can host parties like bridal showers too. Don't forget that you normally tack on a 20% tip when going to these things.

I had tried this spa with some girlfriends during Spa Week a couple of years ago and am really happy to be back again. Pacific Waters  is a bit of a hike to one end of Hyatt, but the view is well worth it. Make sure you show up early or give yourself extra time afterwords so you can enjoy the other amenities: sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers & vanities. I agree with Jenny L that the experience here is better than Burke Williams. They also offer water, tea, dried fruit, & nuts. Tammy G describes the tour accurately: it is a gorgous place!
