Man have times changed in the hood. This place used to be one of the Leucadia motel dumps. I mean skanky to the max.....It changed hands a few years back and now It is actually pretty decent. No more needles in the hallways or full-time residents. The rooms are actually clean. It is also within walking distance to Beacons Beach
It's really a class 1-2 star hotel but I give them an extra one for getting their #$%# together and cleaning up their act.
There is also a little cute Japanese Tea House on the premises now. Locals gotta love that.
