Review from Paul K.
I've never had any complaints with this hotel, even when it was the Industry Hills Sheraton. The hotel is always clean, gracefully appointed with orchids, the staff friendly, and the food is pretty good. I have been here for multiple banquets and events and always cherish the opportunity to come here.

I've been here a few times for different events.
The grounds are beautifully maintained. They have some great photo locations outside. There's lots of parking available.
I have been here for a Chinese Banquet Dinner that was average, not the greatest food, but the service was pretty good.
The rooms themselves are pretty average size and the pretty comfortable.
Come here to take pictures or to get away from the city life.Listed in: Flowers & Flowers, Pillow Fight! | LA

Came here for a wedding. It's a niiiice location. I can't imagine how expensive it was. But very nice and upscale.
The ceremony was held at the gazebo, which overseas the San Gabriel Valley. Would be the utmost crazy view if the smog wasn't blanketing over the city (I had to photoshop the smog out of my pictures). So I don't blame them for that.
Very cute place cuz the gazebo is at the top of this hill, and the bride was actually escorted up with a golf cart! (They also started giving us rides from the gazebo to the hotel later. Those drivers are super hilarious and fun to chat up a convo with...even though it lasted about 2 mins. Haha. Fun ride!)
Then there was the pre-reception dinner, where they served us appetizers and had a juice/soda/water bar.
The reception dinner was held inside this huge room. Very spacious! It's definitely a very nice wedding venue.
The only sad thing was...why on earth did they have to throw away all the leftovers?! Okay, first off, we weren't even done eating when they started taking away our trays of lobsters, seafood, crab (yeah, it was Asian family styled...can't imagine how much that would have cost), but it wasn't done and we were still hungry! So that was one thing...I'm not sure if it is a cultural difference cuz they aren't used to seeing food on the table before bringing the next dish out. It's typical for Asians to have multiple plates of food out, so that the guests can actually pick from it as the night goes on. That made us sad.
The other sad thing was that they started tossing out all the desserts! The bride/groom had so many really cute and delicious desserts, and at the end of the day, there was SO much leftover. The clean up crew started tossing all of them into garbage bins! Ahh! Think of children in Africa!!! Or me! I don't mind free lunch/dinners/snacks for the next 2-3 days!Comment from Nancy M. of Pacific Palms Resort 10/19/2011

Free parking in the back... it's a HUGE parking lot in the back...
Hotel:
Stayed here for a night and it's SO pretty. I had a great view of the golf course and could see the club attached. The bed was soft and the room was just freaking pretty! But... it's not worth the money. EXPENSIVE.
Lobby:
That was a fancy area. Very posh and pretty.
Club:
Maybe it was the night I went but... MAJOR COUGARVILLE. It gets pretty busy and I felt really young. Obviously City of Industry is not a place to party but still MEOW.
Overall: Nice but not worth the $$$$Listed in: Tempted to Elope

Jenny --
Jon and I had our wedding reception here in June, and we had such a great time. We got lots of compliments from friends and family about how great the reception and venue were.
We had a cocktail hour outside the banquet room, and our wedding was in the middle section of the Majestic ballroom. There are chandeliers in there which definitely give a really grand feeling. We were sandwiched in between 2 other events (another wedding and another birthday party), but we didn't worry because it was really easy for our guests to find our cocktail hour since it was the biggest party.
I loved how the servers surprised us with their own "grand entrance" to the Mission Impossible theme song to serve the first course.
I was teetering between 3 or 4 stars, since the banquet staff was really good. They were really attentive, and Joanne, the catering manager as well as banquet manager kept checking with us to see how everything was going. The little food we actually had time to eat was just as delicious as we remembered from the tasting last year. My favorite dishes were the scallops, which were seared to a perfect slight crisp, and the ginger and scallion lobster. The hotel staff, however, were pretty incompetent.
Jon-- Dude, the hotel staff really messed it up. The big deal is that they do not assign rooms until the day that you check in. For us, that meant that my parents room was next to the honeymoon suite. Very nice. After we asked them to switch it, they messed up the keycards and locked myself, my wife, and my parents out of our rooms. And they wouldn't believe us when we tried to sort it out at 2am in the morning. After spending over $50,000 on the reception in addition to the bevy of rooms that our guest booked, you would expect some better customer service!
Jenny--
Despite the poor service from the hotel staff, I still highly recommend Pacific Palms for a wedding reception venue. The food was great, and the ballroom was grand. Pacific Palms is one of the few hotels in LA that cooks the Chinese food on-site, and there is plenty of free parking. We are really happy with the way our wedding reception turned out, and we will cherish the memories forever.Comment from Nancy M. of Pacific Palms Resort 7/29/2011

This place needs to be Shut Down! Pacific Palms you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have traveled all over the world, stayed in hundreds of hotels - But NEVER one like this.... That's NOT a compliment. I was there for a family wedding on 7/9/11. Within 1 hour of checking in I was on my way to a 3rd room. The toilet and tub flooded at the same time, the air was NOT working, there was shit in the toilet, and the staff was rude, slow, uneducated and disrespectful. They failed to give me keys to the second room while locking me out of the 1st room, with personal items still in the 1st room. The General Manager Sergio stood in the 2nd room and watched while my husband and I finished dressing, before moving us to our final room! In the end not only was I charged for the room, erroneous charges appeared on my CC.? PLEASE DO NOT stay at the Pacific Palms!!!

Staying here at the moment using the wifi to write this review. The hotel lobby is great, I guess a lot of these reviews are for the golf and conference experience. For me, I am here strictly for vacation and to meet family around the area. Considering this as a 3-4 star hotel I have high expectations for the service and the room quality. Lets start with service, the people who check you in work slower than my 90 year old grandmother, next they are rude and not helpful. We had a request to bring in a cake for a banquet that we were having, and got into a dispute. Asked for the supervisor and the guy basically went to the back and never came back. ( 20 minutes later ) he comes back and says the supervisor is busy, so we request to call for the manager or supervisor, they say sure, and put us on the phone with elevator music for another 15-20 minutes.. until we are finally sick of waiting.
Now to the room... Old everything, they def need a remodeling. TV is over 10 years old, AC is loud and makes cranking noise, when the rooms around you flush the toilet or use the shower, it will wake everyone up. Overall a 1 star experience. I would compare this hotel to a motel 6, if not worse.

Review from Grace C.
Room
Bathroom was small (the door would knock into your knees if you were sitting on the toilet). The toiletries they gave were cheap and not classy at all. The hair dryer was small and cheap. The beds were comfortable but the TV was old. There is no room service between the hours of 11 PM and 6 AM. The toilets were hard to flush and definitely showed age.
Location
Unless you were here for a major event or you want to play golf, I don't see any reason to stay here. It's not near anything you would want to see in LA. It's about 45min-1 hr from LAX.
Venue
I was here for a wedding and the grounds were beautiful. It was convenient that the tea ceremony, ceremony and reception were all in the same venue. I could also go to my room in between events to rest and appear refreshed within a matter of minutes.
The pool was small considering it's a resort. I was imagining something much more elaborate. The golf course was beautiful. It was slightly scary walking around because there were a lot of golf carts zooming around.
The fitness center was average but definitely not state of the art. The room had no windows so it felt slightly claustrophobic working out in a small walled room.
Food
I only ate at Cima Restaurant (2x) and at the reception. Cima I gave 2.5 for overall experience and 3 for food - I gave a separate review but the short version is service was horrible at the restaurant.
The wedding had great food but that's a matter of the budget :) -

I have an office in the area and have stayed here about a dozen times. I usually book here when my wife is traveling with me or when I have clients coming in. Overall I like this place. It's by far the best place in the immediate area. High up on a hill, clean, well appointed w/ golf, pool, spa, restaurants, meeting rooms etc.
Like any hotel, none is perfect. I've had mixed experiences, including one downright bad experience due to the hotel being 'taken over' by a film crew using the Palms as a movie set. To the hotel's credit, they took good care of us by providing a complementary return stay in a beautiful suite.
I like this place and recommend it over any other hotel in the immediate vicinity. Shop room rates online as they sometimes vary. -

The inside is neat, but not a big expectation.

Review from Anna W.
I love Pacific Palms :) I check out hundreds of venues online, via phone calls, and wedding magazines. I also visited about 10 places before I decided on the Pacific Palms for my wedding. It was a great choice and here are just a few of the reason's why it's awesome!!!
1) You can have your reception and ceremony at the same place. No driving back and forth, guests getting lost, traffic, people being late.
2) The prices are very competitive, really good prices for food, rooms, equipment, etc. They really work with your budget and if you have your wedding on a Sunday everything is 10% off.
3) You are assigned a wedding coordinator that help you prior to the wedding and also on the day of. We had Crystal Kelly, she was excellent.
4) Beautiful location!! The gazebo area has a view and it's just really pretty. Really well maintained grass and flowers.
5) The banquet rooms are just gorgeous!! Whether you have a lot of guests (1,00+) or just a small group (100) they have the perfect room. The Colonial room is where I had my wedding, we had about 200 - 250 guests, it was the perfect size.
6) Since it's a hotel you can stay there the night before your wedding, the day of your wedding, and a couple days after if you need to recover from you wedding. I checked in the day before my wedding and I ended up having to go back to my house because I keep remembering little things I forgot. I was glad I made trips back to my house the day before the wedding rather than the day of. It made the day of way less stressful. I got ready in my hotel room and just went downstairs. No worrying about traffic or hair/makeup getting mess up on the way.
7) You can have all the gifts bought up to your room, no need to worry about carrying everything out to the car the night of, when everyone is dressed up and tired at the end of the night.
8) The service and staff was super nice and helpful. They try to do everything they can to make your day special.
9) Really large dinner menu to choose from, Chinese, American, Indian, Buffet, sit down, etc. Lots of different prices and you can customize it anyway you like.
10) Lots of different options for drinks, bars, wine, etc.
11) There is lots free parking for you and your guests.
12) You have golf carts to take your guest from the parking lot to the Gazebo.
These are just a few of the reasons why Pacific Palm is amazing and I love them. The people there are truly the best part. So nice and they really make you feel special!!!Listed in: Wedding Bliss

Customer service is terrible. I stayed came here two different times. The first time was good, the second time I had terrible and unfriendly customer service.
They charged a different credit card for gratuity (different than the one used for the reservations) and I asked them to put it on the original one and the guy refused to do so even when he was well aware that the original credit card was used for both the meal (where the added gratuity was left later) and stay.
They also put a deposit upon check-in and remove it after - fine, this is standard at some hotels, so I was okay with this.
I'm very upset and disappointed by the poor experience they offered and no apologies or anything. I probably will look into staying elsewhere now when I'm in the area, before I opt to staying here, which is really unfortunate since they have a really pretty golf course/resort-type of ambiance.
The breakfast that comes with the added $10/day is also sub-par, with stale breads & pastries..really disappointing way to end the stay.1 Previous Review: Show all »

This is a nice hotel, but I'm not sure why you would stay here unless you're attending a conference, getting married or spending the weekend on the golf course. For those purposes, this is a beautiful facility.
The restaurants and bar were nice, though the menus seemed somewhat limited. Customer service was excellent, though housekeeping was not as good as I would have expected. The room itself (standard) was adequate in size, provided a beautiful view of the city and included free Wi-Fi. The pool was also nice, but seemed a little small in contrast to the hotel itself.
I wouldn't describe the resort as a vacation destination, but it is a very nice hotel for specific situations. The grounds really are beautiful, but there just isn't much to do for a non-golfer. -

I like this place. It's secluded on a hill top, away from the cheap ghetto below. And the view of the valley to the mountains is pretty! I've come many times for different occasions like conferences and celebrations. Sometime when I'm driving, and I really need a public restroom, I drive here because I know it will be super clean and classy.
Driving range and golf course, but I don't know too much about it. I tried out the driving range a long time ago.
The bar is okay, just so-so food.
But the Cima buffet is impressive.
It's just a nice quiet place to relax overall. -

I was here for work travel last year and now finally writing the review for this place. I love the two-room suite I got. The bathroom has both tub and walk-in shower. The white shutters for the room gave it an elegant feel to this place. The king sized bed was super comfy and their service is hands-down superb.
Aside from it's remote location, it is a very nice hotel. -

I got married at the Pacific Palms. Though they did not do a bad job in coordinating the ceremony, I didn't not have the most pleasant experience either.
1. First, among all of the vendors I dealt with throughout the planning, I felt the most frustrated when dealing with the coordinator from the Pacific Palms. That's due to their poor responsiveness. I sent multiple e-mails to the coordinator there and she rarely reply until I cc'd to another manager, then I would receive a response.
2. Second, she is not very detailed oriented. My husband gave special instructions about the guest rooms check-in 2 days before the wedding, she promised to take care of it. But on the day of the wedding, none of the requested were satisfied. We had to spend time at the reception to fix the problems rather than taking our wedding pictures.
3. Third, told by my own coordinator at the wedding, the Pacific Palms coordinator was not attentive at all. She was MIA majority of the time during the banquet. My coordinator was also frustrated in looking for her when issues raised.
4. The dishes were served so slow that our guests left without even had the last 2 courses.
5. The hotel has a no take out policy for which they do not allow any food to be taken away from the hotel. As soon as I aware of the policy, I asked them to control the serving portion so that we wouldn't waste so much food. Turned out they serve an even bigger portion than most restaurants. I felt so bad about being an eco-unfriendly bride and created so much wasted food. We had so much left over from the banquet and we could not take them home.
Overall, the resort has what you need for a wedding. However, as far as the service, you cannot have high expectations. -

There's free parking. This is centrally located. It serves good food and is unpretentious yet beautiful. -

Review I have a love/hate relationship with this place. As beautiful, modern, and well-kept as it is, the service unfortunately does not match up. While in the midst of coordinating a wedding here, the staff and management is extremely hard to get a hold of and all you will get are voicemails and endless ringing on the other end. When you finally do get a hold of someone, it takes a very long time for them to follow-through, and I found myself checking in with them every so often just to make sure I got certain things done.
The gazebo for which most wedding ceremonies are held is beautiful but beware, being a golf course, the distance is quite far so make sure to have golf carts readily available to shuttle older guests to and from the ceremony area to the resort. For our bride, we had her reception in the tented terrace on the second floor, which is beautiful and a great way to get a tent for your wedding but not have to pay the ridiculous rental fee for a tent, because the tent comes with the resort. The food was average, which is a shame because the venue really is beautiful!
Overall I would recommend the place because it has guest rooms, a nice golf course, a beautiful bar/lounge (which I hear the service here is not great either), and endless amounts of green lawn, but what good is a venue if the service is not up to par??Listed in: Wedding Venues Worth Checking…

It's like a cruise that doesn't move!!! I stayed at the Pacific Palms for a conference about a month ago and had a great experience.
Every staff person I encountered was nice, the meeting rooms were comfortable, and my room was nicely decorated and clean.
The food was good and we ate at Cima for every meal. My only grunt was that the salad options were exactly the same at every lunch and dinner. Luckily the spinach salad was good-but it was a little weird to see it so much. They also kept our group well stocked with snacks (too bad I was on a diet and couldn't eat all the kettle chips and pastries).
Upon checkout the front desk staff were great! Again they held my bag until our meetings wrapped up and they allowed me to check in to my flight and print my boarding pass on one of their computers.
Overall, not a bad place to be on an all-expense paid conference! The onsite spa was tempting but pricey and the woman in the gift shop was nice but as any hotel gift shop everything was very pricey and I opted for expensive souvenirs at the airport instead. -

I just have few specific words to describe Pacific Palms Resort: SUPER, GIGANTIC, MEGA, COLOSSAL and ALL-INCLUSIVE department store for ALL kinds of Events & Weddings..!!!
Pacific Palms Resort has 4-5 Weddings, Business Conference Meetings, Family & Friends Reunion Parties and many other events on ONE Saturday. This is very typical and usual for them. They even have big HD t.v. monitors to guide guests where to go for their events & parties(Please LOOK at the PHOTOS I've posted). They have Small to XLarge banquet halls to accomodate your events of any types and sizes. The Bride and Groom can reserve one of the suites as their dressing/waiting room. Nicely furnished, neat and clean were the impressions I received by visiting one of the rooms. Also, PPR can offer you a small meeting room as a dressing/waiting room for the Bride and her Bridesmaids. The food was very exceptional..!!! You can order 21 course Chinese Dinner for your guests or you can also go with American Style Dinners(Steak, Salmon or Chicken).
There's an outdoor ceremonial area near the golf course. If you prefer indoor ceremony, I'm sure PPR can definitely help you with that arrangement also. The firendly staff and "ever-so permisible" coordinator allowed me to take the bride and groom out on the golf course to take photos. WOW~ I've been to several different country clubs and didn't find a place where they allow to take pictures on the greens. The yellow Dutch style train station is also a great photo spot..!! I truly became a fan of Pacific Palms Resort. However, if you want an intimate, private and very exclusive settings for your weddings then this place might not work for you. I mean PPR do their best to keep your weddings private but you might get to see other brides & grooms and their guests on your wedding day. Please look at the photos for more details. Thanks~Listed in: Wedding Venues by a Wedding…

My stay here has totaled to about four now. Three for biz and one for personal.
My stay has always been a great one. It's not in my SPG group of hotels and I wish it is.
This is a a very classy hotel. I measure my stay in a hotel by the staff that welomes me and the room and mainly the BED. Love them all!
Their bar area has a pool table that I normally enjoy although I suck at it after a drink or a quick dinner.
If you want to venture out and take play golf it's there for you to enjoy! I also enjoy walking up and down their driveway rather than the threadmill in their gym. It's more fun and you get to be out in the sun. Besides their driveway is a good walk up towards the hotel. You can take in the view of the hotel.
Will definitely go back to stay here. It's a good hotel for the entire family.Comment from Nancy M. of Pacific Palms Resort 1/25/2010

Very disappointing experience. Please note, we did not have our wedding reception here. This review is based strictly on our experience on trying to schedule a reception at Pacific Palms.
In short, my fiancee and I were looking for a wedding venue and Pacific Palms was a candidate. We visited the hotel and were given a tour of the banquet rooms. During the tour, we had asked about bringing in our own alcohol for each table, specifically VSOP, and were told that it would not be a problem but would be charged a corkage fee of $35/bottle. In the next several days, we had advised Pacific Palms that we have every intentions of having the reception there, but just need to finalize the pricing. We had numerous e-mail exchanges about menu revisions and pricing, but we were frustrated because at times the questions were left unanswered or partially answered. Also slow response was another issue (in the rep's defense, she may be waiting on others for a response). We were also given bad information on a couple of occasions such as the cake-cutting fee, dance floor, and here's the killer, that cannot bring VSOP for each table! We took that issue to a senior rep because we had already purchased 30 bottles of VSOP anticipating to bring it for each table at the reception. After a few rounds of back and forth, we were advised that Pacific Palms would consider serving our VSOP at the bar, but at $80/bottle because of liability. Considering the bottle costs us less than $40...no thanks.
Long story short, double check the facts you are given and get it on paper.
I would recommend Pacific Palms to provide more training for the catering sales reps before allowing the sales to work with clients. Considering how much bad information we were given, I can only imagine what kind of problems we would encounter had we signed the contract to have the reception there. -

My company hosted a Pro-Am here with the LPGA, and I had heard great things beforehand about the actual golf course. Supposedly, it's a delight for any golfer to play here, and Tiger Woods said that one of the hardest courses he played was at this resort. Anything with Tiger involved has to be legit, right?
Anyway, we got to stay in one of their executive rooms, and that was pretty nice. I really wish I didn't work and just had the time to enjoy the place. They had cheese and wine waiting for us, which was very nice. It's always nice to be spoiled in any way. I had a great time just chomping on the fruits provided and running all over the place with the fuzzy robes with PACIFIC PALMS blazed across.
So the food that was provided at the Pro-Am were all by the hotel. I expected GREAT things, but the food was pretty lame. Nothing was exquisite about presentation, the meat was cold, and I was almost embarrassed that this was what our company had to provide the players. But I did hear from others that they loved the food, so maybe it was just me and my extremely picky tastebuds. BAD TASTEBUDS! BAD!
I was all giggly about riding the golf court, so it was one of my "duties" to ride around and make sure all the players were hydrated and knew the lunch schedule. It was awesome pushing down on the pedal all the way and only going 15 mph or something. But there was this one downhill road that swerved all over and I went top speed, and I pretty much almost crashed the cart and almost tipped over. IT WAS AWESOME.
Hotel looks nice, catered food was bleh, course is beautiful, rooms were wonderful. It was pretty decent for what it usually costs to stay and play there. -

Came here once for their buffet a long time ago. Last time was for a family friend's wedding reception. The banquet room was decent in size with very modern and chic cherry wood panels on the walls. It was cute.
Banquet menu (Asian food) was pretty good too. I mean, you eat all the same Chinese food 'cause they're all the same menus -_- But it's a cute place to have a reception at. -

I attended a conference at this lovely hotel and I found the staff to be very personable. The banquet facilities and meeting rooms are extremely spacious. It's also a great place for golfers. I am not a golfer so I can't speak on the greens or the actual course, but by the looks of all the club toting folks I feel safe in that assumption.
The ladies room in one of their restaurants had TVs in the mirrors! Call me brand new, but how fly is that??!! Sanitize your hands, primp and watch the Food Network all at the same time...very cool. -

Given that this place is located out in the arm-pit of LA (ie the city of industry) its actually quite nice. Located on a bit of a hill top the hotel is adjacent to two golf courses and a driving range that pretty much lights up the sky for miles around.
The rates aren't bad, there's a 24 hour fitness center, they have free wifi, and the rooms are quite large. The food at the restaurant is pretty good and not badly priced.
Definitely would recommend to any traveling business person visiting people out in the city of industry. -

I stayed here for a work retreat and had mixed feelings.
Pluses:
Beautiful grounds. Awesome spa. Cool, trendy decor in the bars. Nice furnishings. Not bad if you like to golf. Great view at pool area. Nice view from conference room; comfortable office chairs. Work out room was state of the art. Employees were friendly.
Minuses:
Horrible location - middle of nowheresville. Sometimes noisy. My room smelled stale and a little foul. The sink backed up and the toilet didn't flush well. My room did not come with a bathtub, and I was not asked my preference when I checked in. Room service was spotty (no salt and pepper, bottle came unopened which required a bottle opener). Elevators are confusing. Their website advertises "15 miles of walking and jogging trails" but there are none - only scenic golf course paths on which walking is prohibited. They have only been open a year and already my room looked worn - e.g., scrapes on the walls, wallpaper held in place with masking tape. Awesome looking bars were dead.
I think with better management this place would be much better; it has a lot of potential. Right now it is only decent. -
Review from Esme V.
San Francisco, CA
I stayed at this hotel because I was visiting my relatives who live in the area. I had very low expectations, given that it's a large golf conference hotel. I don't play golf and most conference hotels are soulless. However, this hotel and the spa exceeded my expectations:
- the staff are wonderful: when the lock on my room did not open, two people from engineering came up within 5 minutes to fix the problem; I asked to be moved to another room and housekeeping helped me move immediately into an adjacent room. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, is professional.
- the Spa is beautiful, well-designed and stylish
- I got a hot stone massage that was exceptional; the masseur knew what he was doing, the room was lovely, music just right, everything perfect
- They have Asian breakfast: miso soup, congee, rice
- Amazing horse / running trails around the property: although the hotel does not really encourage guests and hides the fact that the trails exist, they're there for you to enjoy, about 3 mi of uphill / downhill with stunning views of the mountains -- I ran everyday when I stayed here.
- Swimming pool with view of mountains, lounge area with good music (reggae, not muzak like a lot of golf conference hotels)
I got the "boutique hotel" experience in a large conference hotel and this is something I did not expect. It's all down to the staff, the decor, attention to detail. -

For business or leisure, Pacific Palms is a great place to stay. If you're a golfer, the more incentive to stay here!
They have a beautiful golf course and many golf carts for easy transport around the resort. The staff is friendly and accomodating and the place will keep you entertained.
Their conference rooms are very spacious and are excellent to host parties or business functions. Catering service is decent and they will accomodate your needs. They can make Spanish/Mexican, Asian and American entrees. Their rates for booking these rooms and events are pretty reasonable as well. -

I've been coming here since I was a wee lassy for tennis lessons, swimming lessons, golf lessons, brunching, weddings, you name it! There is no longer and tennis or swimming here (to my knowledge), but they have a beautiful golf facility, and a fantastic brunch! Up on the tippy top of a hill, the view is great and the laid back atmosphere is both luxe and unassuming at the same time.

Finally getting around to writing my review. I was here for New Year's Eve. I booked a New Years package which included a night stay for two, two tickets to their New Years Eve party and breakfast buffet for the next morning which unfortunately we didn't make it to because we were a "tad" hungover from the night before or should i say earlier that morning. =) Wish it would have gone for longer than 10:30 am. Overall i thought the rate for the package wasn't too bad being that it was new years weekend.
I have two parts to my review (see my review on Club Red) this is just on the hotel itself. I was surprised to find this place in the city of industry, it's a really nice resort with lots of green and great views (see picture attached). The hotel itself is current, modern and very well kept. They have two restaurants i believe, didn't make it to one but would love to return to give one a try. The staff was very friendly at the time i booked they only had doubles available at check in time they were able to switch it to a single which was a nice big comfy king size bed. The views from our room were great! the room was really nicely furnished. Only thing for those who must have a super dark room to sleep they have wood shutters instead of curtains so it got pretty bright in there once the sun was up the next morning so probably one of my only minus. They have a mini bar/fridge stocked with goodies which like all mini bars is over priced, we stayed away from that. The TV is pretty small but we didn't really use it so no big deal. Check out time isn't till noon which was pretty cool since we probably got up like two minutes before that. =)
Over all a nice place. We got to get our drink on in our room before heading downstairs to the party and best thing was didn't have to worry about driving since the party was right there. -

I've attended many dinner banquets here and the venues are quite nice. The conference rooms and common areas are very spacious and cater well to large banquets. Their banquet dinner menu is quite solid; I've had the same one many times. I really like the huge Christmas tree surrounded by giant, sparkling presents that is displayed during the holidays. Quite pretty!

Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, but the ventilation system was poor. It could've been a coincidence, but I had a head ache each morning I got up (and it wasn't from the drinking). Views were great, but the location was strange. Pool was nice, but there were ants all over place by the jacuzzi.
It was pleasant enough that I'd go back if the price was right. But if I start getting head pains again, I'm getting geeky and buying a carbon monoxide radar to see what's up.
