The Pacific Palms has gotten a very nice and expensive face lift in the past few years and is quite spiffy. Although the outside still looks like a dormitory, the inside is modern and a bit reminiscent of a Vegas hotel.
I was here for a wedding and the wedding gazebo is in a very scenic location. The hotel itself is set on a hill and overlooks the eastern SGV, with views of West Covina, which might not sound very scenic but at night, the city lights are pretty impressive. My only comment is that there are no restrooms anywhere near the wedding gazebo, which can be an inconvenience, and it's hard for women to trek up the hill in heels.
The hotel features CIMA restaurant, which serves Asian food and I believe also catered the dinner. The new thing is to have an Asian banquet in a non-Chinese restaurant and Pacific Palms does a good job of it. Most of the dishes were more than passable though the main criticism was that they were all a little colder than they should have been. Favorite dishes were the fish maw soup and whole scallops. Least favorite were the fried rice.
I came here to stay with my bf for the weekend based on his recommendation as he's been there for a convention before.
This is a very nice, large and spacious hotel. Our room was nice and clean with a comfy king-sized bed. I was expecting a plasma tv- which is the norm for most hotels nowadays but it looks like they have not upgraded to flat screens yet.
We came back one night to find that our laptop power cord broken and mashed up where it plugs into the computer. They must have stepped on it really hard or ran over it with the vacumn. We filed a complaint with the front desk and they are now looking into it.
Also, something odd happened- I had a Ranch 99 plastic bag that I had been using to store my shoes and had left it by my suitcase to re-use later. When we came back one night we found it lining the trash can...???! I don't really mind but shouldn't housekeeping use their own garbage can liners rather than use my plastic bag? Interesting..
I got a great deal online so I can't complain much- I'd still stay here again as it's still a nice hotel. The grounds are nice and there are a lot of romantic spots. The window in our room was big but we didn't have much of a view. Be sure to ask for a room higher up- the view will be nicer!
Also, room service only runs until 11pm so be aware. We had done a late check in and missed the room service hours.
Note: This review is solely about Pacific Palms in its capacity as a wedding/special events venue.
My sister's wedding was at Pacific Palms last weekend. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding! The ceremony was held out on the golf course and the reception was in the ballroom. Though the venue at Pacific Palms is nice and it is one of the only places where you can have an Indian wedding outdoors, the TERRIBLE SERVICE makes me want to send everyone running in the opposite direction!!
Much of the staff at Pacific Palms - namely management and the events staff - need lessons in hospitality considering, you know, it's a hotel!
First off, they were completely disorganized. So much so that they somehow managed to double-book my sister's wedding time! When my sister and her fiance called to get it straightened out, the person who had made the mistake was extremely rude and refused to do anything to make up for this GIANT MISTAKE. My sister and her fiance had to rush order and reprint their invitations because they had to move the wedding to a later time instead of Pacific Palms honoring their original agreement. RIDICULOUS.
Second, my sister's fiance and I went to check out the venue a week prior to the wedding for logistical purposes, and the people who were standing guard at the ballroom rudely told us that there was a private party in session and that we would have to leave. Though I understand we couldn't march into a private party, there was no need to be so gruff, especially considering our families were spending a LOT of money there, and they could have shown us an unoccupied ballroom at the time.
Third, my sister and her fiance had booked all of the rooms for the guests at a promotional price which had been confirmed by the reservations counter numerous times of $129, which included breakfast for 2 and a room. When we checked into the hotel the day before the wedding, however, the front desk supervisor claimed that no such promotion had ever existed and refused to honor the deal that my sister, her fiance, and our guests had booked, even though they were spending A LOT of money at the hotel for the wedding (it was a 300 person wedding). He gave my sister a form to sign that said the price was $141, not including tax. He said that he could do her a "favor" by charging $129, not including breakfast (how is that a favor?), but that he would need her to come in the next day to give him a list of names of the guests who were staying at the hotel in order to move them over to this rate. Have you never been to a wedding, buddy? Did you want her to just make a detour before marching down the aisle? Totally ridiculous!
What is more outrageous is that when we spoke to the manager over the phone, who explained that the $141 we were being charged was the price including tax, the front desk supervisor claimed that he had been telling us this all along and that we had just been mistaken. Riiiighhht... just own up to the fact that you were wrong, dude!
Though the wedding was wonderful and beautiful, I do NOT RECOMMEND having your wedding here! The logistical nightmares that stem from the hotel management's complete lack of organization and the inability to administer courteous customer service are not worth the location. There are definitely comparable locations that serve up MUCH better customer service, and without stressing the bride and groom out unnecessarily before their big day.

Came here for a banquet dinner lastnight. Knowing that it would be a 9 course meal I was looking forward to the lobster dish which was pretty good at Ocean Star in Monetery Park I was thinking better at Pacific Palms. Well I was totally wrong. The lobster may have been good because of the large portions of lobster meat but it had this starchy taste and it was drenched in some oil that gave it an old taste. Then our abolone dish had a cocker roach that basically ended the night for me. The overall presentation was good but the service was lacking. This waiter was abrupt with our dishes and tossed my chopstick almost to the floor when changing dishes.
So I came here with some family and friends for a friend's Debut (it's like a quinceanera but instead it's for flip people but turning 18 instead of 15. basically it's a big party wedding like for an 18 year old) but anyways the we had salad which was good can't go wrong with that.. than there was beef 4 slice it was a bit salty and the mash potatoes was super salty but the beef was good and the ice cream was too sweet.. the place was nice inside and out.. i felt like i was at a far away land and was ready to go get a spa..
but the waiter.. my god.. I had the worst waiter ever!! He was rude and he kept giving us attitude as soon as we sat down..He told one of my friends to stop drinking because it was for the toast.. well wtf the drinks are free right so shouldn't they be drinking whenever and however they want? well anyways as my other friend gather up the salad plates to clear the table the waiter goes "GIMMIE THAT!" geez claim down relax!! we were just tryna help.. there's more to it.. but over all the waiter was just plain horrible everything else was fine..
I recently got married at the Pacific Palms Resort and my comments reflect several months of experience with the resort and the resort staff/management.
Let me first preface that the only thing saving this place from a one star rating is its aesthetic appeal. The grounds of the resort are very nicely manicured and it benefits from a beautiful golf course forming the backdrop. The outdoor wedding gazebo is nice, with a relatively intimate location, surrounded by several hills which made for nice photos. The indoor wedding facilities are modern, and the guest rooms are relatively nice, but only if you receive rooms with a view of the golf course/hills.
Now, the biggest problem Pacific Palms suffers from is discourteous and unorganized management and staff. Its one thing to have hiccups along the way in wedding planning, but when those bumps in the road are caused by the resort hosting your wedding, that's another story. Our wedding was booked close to 1 year prior to the ceremony date, yet somehow, it become known to us that the ceremony time had been DOUBLE BOOKED!. My fiance and I had luckily called the resort for an unelated reason, when we were passed along this fact. When my fiance and I confronted the catering department head, we were told that Pacific Palms was "too busy to keep track of such details" and that we would have to deal with the consequences. All of this occurred a few months before the wedding date, requiring us to reprint our invitations, reschedule our ceremony events (not a small task for an Indian wedding!), and endure weeks of stress as to whether our event could take place in the reduced time allotted.
In addition, our day of wedding coordinator was very difficult to reach throughout the process, exacerbating issues. A day before our wedding, our wedding guests were notified that the rate they had been quoted had never existed, despite the fact that we and several family and friends had personally called the resort reservation dept several times to confirm the pricing. It was only when we forced upper management to get involved did the staff agree to honor our rate, but then they claimed we had misunderstood what they had been saying. Now I highly doubt that five educated individuals with professional degrees would have all had the exact "misunderstanding", it was obviously a cover up attempt, though feeble!
Throw in the fact that the staff gave a member of our wedding my finace's room key wthout question or identification request, and that my friends credit card was charged $400 plus for a round of drinks (the staff somehow accepted someone else's signature (not the cardholder's) on the check and told us nothing could be done since the bill had been signed?) and you get the picture that attention to detail and humility are not this resort's strengths.
Though Pacific Palms is a bit cheaper to hold a wedding than other sites in LA/Orange County, you get what you pay for. FOR THOSE HOLDING AN ETHNIC WEDDING, ID STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY AND PEACE OF MIND!!!!!!!!!!

Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, but the ventilation system was poor. It could've been a coincidence, but I had a head ache each morning I got up (and it wasn't from the drinking). Views were great, but the location was strange. Pool was nice, but there were ants all over place by the jacuzzi.
It was pleasant enough that I'd go back if the price was right. But if I start getting head pains again, I'm getting geeky and buying a carbon monoxide radar to see what's up.

My company hosted a Pro-Am here with the LPGA, and I had heard great things beforehand about the actual golf course. Supposedly, it's a delight for any golfer to play here, and Tiger Woods said that one of the hardest courses he played was at this resort. Anything with Tiger involved has to be legit, right?
Anyway, we got to stay in one of their executive rooms, and that was pretty nice. I really wish I didn't work and just had the time to enjoy the place. They had cheese and wine waiting for us, which was very nice. It's always nice to be spoiled in any way. I had a great time just chomping on the fruits provided and running all over the place with the fuzzy robes with PACIFIC PALMS blazed across.
So the food that was provided at the Pro-Am were all by the hotel. I expected GREAT things, but the food was pretty lame. Nothing was exquisite about presentation, the meat was cold, and I was almost embarrassed that this was what our company had to provide the players. But I did hear from others that they loved the food, so maybe it was just me and my extremely picky tastebuds. BAD TASTEBUDS! BAD!
I was all giggly about riding the golf court, so it was one of my "duties" to ride around and make sure all the players were hydrated and knew the lunch schedule. It was awesome pushing down on the pedal all the way and only going 15 mph or something. But there was this one downhill road that swerved all over and I went top speed, and I pretty much almost crashed the cart and almost tipped over. IT WAS AWESOME.
Hotel looks nice, catered food was bleh, course is beautiful, rooms were wonderful. It was pretty decent for what it usually costs to stay and play there.

I just have few specific words to describe Pacific Palms Resort: SUPER, GIGANTIC, MEGA, COLOSSAL and ALL-INCLUSIVE department store for ALL kinds of Events & Weddings..!!!
Pacific Palms Resort has 4-5 Weddings, Business Conference Meetings, Family & Friends Reunion Parties and many other events on ONE Saturday. This is very typical and usual for them. They even have big HD t.v. monitors to guide guests where to go for their events & parties(Please LOOK at the PHOTOS I've posted). They have Small to XLarge banquet halls to accomodate your events of any types and sizes. The Bride and Groom can reserve one of the suites as their dressing/waiting room. Nicely furnished, neat and clean were the impressions I received by visiting one of the rooms. Also, PPR can offer you a small meeting room as a dressing/waiting room for the Bride and her Bridesmaids. The food was very exceptional..!!! You can order 21 course Chinese Dinner for your guests or you can also go with American Style Dinners(Steak, Salmon or Chicken).
There's an outdoor ceremonial area near the golf course. If you prefer indoor ceremony, I'm sure PPR can definitely help you with that arrangement also. The firendly staff and "ever-so permisible" coordinator allowed me to take the bride and groom out on the golf course to take photos. WOW~ I've been to several different country clubs and didn't find a place where they allow to take pictures on the greens. The yellow Dutch style train station is also a great photo spot..!! I truly became a fan of Pacific Palms Resort. However, if you want an intimate, private and very exclusive settings for your weddings then this place might not work for you. I mean PPR do their best to keep your weddings private but you might get to see other brides & grooms and their guests on your wedding day. Please look at the photos for more details. Thanks~

I attended a conference at this lovely hotel and I found the staff to be very personable. The banquet facilities and meeting rooms are extremely spacious. It's also a great place for golfers. I am not a golfer so I can't speak on the greens or the actual course, but by the looks of all the club toting folks I feel safe in that assumption.
The ladies room in one of their restaurants had TVs in the mirrors! Call me brand new, but how fly is that??!! Sanitize your hands, primp and watch the Food Network all at the same time...very cool.

So I came here with my bf (: a couple of weeks ago for a mini getaway and I didn't care about the staff I just wanted a good room. We paid a good amount of money and the bed was super comfy but when I turned on the water in the tub it came out yellow! WTF we had a good room but idk maybe the pipes were dirty haha it's a cool place to go to and get away. Staff didn't acknowledge us or greet us upon entering and you know what, I didn't care!! I just wanted to be left alone (: they have a lot of little romantic spots too so you can walk around and stuff

Came here once for their buffet a long time ago. Last time was for a family friend's wedding reception. The banquet room was decent in size with very modern and chic cherry wood panels on the walls. It was cute.
Banquet menu (Asian food) was pretty good too. I mean, you eat all the same Chinese food 'cause they're all the same menus -_- But it's a cute place to have a reception at.

I stayed at this hotel because I was visiting my relatives who live in the area. I had very low expectations, given that it's a large golf conference hotel. I don't play golf and most conference hotels are soulless. However, this hotel and the spa exceeded my expectations:
- the staff are wonderful: when the lock on my room did not open, two people from engineering came up within 5 minutes to fix the problem; I asked to be moved to another room and housekeeping helped me move immediately into an adjacent room. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, is professional.
- the Spa is beautiful, well-designed and stylish
- I got a hot stone massage that was exceptional; the masseur knew what he was doing, the room was lovely, music just right, everything perfect
- They have Asian breakfast: miso soup, congee, rice
- Amazing horse / running trails around the property: although the hotel does not really encourage guests and hides the fact that the trails exist, they're there for you to enjoy, about 3 mi of uphill / downhill with stunning views of the mountains -- I ran everyday when I stayed here.
- Swimming pool with view of mountains, lounge area with good music (reggae, not muzak like a lot of golf conference hotels)
I got the "boutique hotel" experience in a large conference hotel and this is something I did not expect. It's all down to the staff, the decor, attention to detail.

I stayed here for a work retreat and had mixed feelings.
Pluses:
Beautiful grounds. Awesome spa. Cool, trendy decor in the bars. Nice furnishings. Not bad if you like to golf. Great view at pool area. Nice view from conference room; comfortable office chairs. Work out room was state of the art. Employees were friendly.
Minuses:
Horrible location - middle of nowheresville. Sometimes noisy. My room smelled stale and a little foul. The sink backed up and the toilet didn't flush well. My room did not come with a bathtub, and I was not asked my preference when I checked in. Room service was spotty (no salt and pepper, bottle came unopened which required a bottle opener). Elevators are confusing. Their website advertises "15 miles of walking and jogging trails" but there are none - only scenic golf course paths on which walking is prohibited. They have only been open a year and already my room looked worn - e.g., scrapes on the walls, wallpaper held in place with masking tape. Awesome looking bars were dead.
I think with better management this place would be much better; it has a lot of potential. Right now it is only decent.

Terrible, Terrible service. Humiliating experience. In appropriate behaviors, condescending attitude from the employees. A complete disappointment with the management of the property.
I do not know of a hotel that did not open to public. I do not know of one hotel that did not welcome visitors to visit their bars, restaurants and coffee shop. Well, this doesn't. Keep in mind that their facilities and staff does not welcome visitors to visit their hotel guests. And if you are wondering around without your room key card, they will think you are invader and will throw you out. But wait, before they throw you out, they have to humiliate and interrogate you so that these "little men" can feel like they are big. I saw some drunk guys walking around and fooling around earlier, being rude to other guests. But the security guard did nothing to them. And there they were, interrogating two girls for their own ego. yeah, they probably has nothing better to do. They must feel really accomplished after we decided not to stay there.
My friend had to stay here for the night due to renovations at his house. I was invited to stay with his daughter. We were waiting in the lobby area and just quietly reading books. (This place does not even have a nice decent well lit area for guests to read and hang out. I was really bothered because the kid was trying to do her work and it was too dark.)
One security guard came up to us and asked us very offensive and personal questions. Including if i was sleeping with my friend who happens to be a gentleman. Umm.... I don't know if it's legal for a security guard to harass a customer like that. Do i need the security guards permission to stay with my friend? In the end, it was all about me not allowed to wait there if i was not to stay at the hotel. I was eating at their restaurant, drinking at their coffee shop and i was asked to watch my friend's daughter. i should be considered a guest of the hotel. And i was not a allowed to stay there and read at the lobby? It's fine, i understand each hotel has their policy. I had to waste 30 minutes answering unreasonable questions from this employee.
I was not asked to leave. But instead i was interrogated to be arrested. As soon as I told him I felt "insulted", he said he would arrest my friend too. It was incredibly insulting and humiliating experience. My friend decided not to stay here for the night.
My friend was thinking about getting married here. Well, forget it. I warn you, DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE. They will harass your guest and interrogate them if they wondered around the place. Imagine the experience of a 30 minute interrogation session. "....ummm. Who are you with? Why are you here? what's the bride and groom's name? What time are you leaving? Who are you sleeping with tonight? Are you going to sleep with the bride or the groom? Are you using condoms? And can you call them right now to confirm that you are on the guest list? if you don't call then, i will have to arrest you for trespassing. " Some of the questions he asked me are so terrible that it cannot even be posted....

What a great resort. I have been here around 6 times, and it just gets better. The place is on top of a hill surrounded by golf courses. The food is wonderful, top shelf. The grounds are beautiful with several areas to just sit and relax. The outside eating is fun with a pond and great view. I have had a massage, facial and nails done. The spa is wonderful and so beautifully decorated, you woudl think you were on South Beach. Recently, they changed the soaps, shampoos, etc in the rooms. I could not get over the fragrance, and want to buy the new product. Overall, my husband and I reccommend this as a must stay when in the area.
This hotel absolutely not worth $$$$ status. It is ok. Has a good and pretty location. Staff of the hotel not friendly, even if they try you not fell as a Special Guest. Nice panorama from the window makes rooms interesting, otherwise is just ok.
No reviews yet!?
The first time I visited Pacific Palms was when I stayed here with my wife on a mini-vacation. I didn't know what to expect based on the information from Expedia and http://Hotels.com, but it was a sweet surprise already when i checked in!
This place has a great price for the quality of the rooms, service, and amenities. You can use a AAA discount or if you're a frequent guest, you get perks that way, too. We've brought our dogs a few times staying here and they were pleased as peaches to hang out in the bathroom while we left the TV on one of Taiwanese television stations by satellite. I'm sure it felt like they were back home!
Since this place is perched on the top of a hill, you get a good view of the surrounding area from your balcony. The golf courses below look great; while I haven't played on them, my coworkers go there often and have great praises. A few holes were redone recently, actually.
The ballrooms are also pretty good. I went to a company Christmas party out here last year and the staff were great. We had an awesome bartender who mixed good drinks and was able to handle all the alcohol-crazed Taiwanese folks.
The only downside to this hotel is that you're not really going to find it that special if you're just looking for a place to sleep and don't care about atmosphere. Chances are you're in LA or business and would rather find a hotel closer to downtown.
However, if you're going to be near Industry/Rowland Heights and you want a serene, comfortable place, stay at Pacific Palms! You can relax out on the fairways and eat a great meal at Cima (I think I saw a couple reviews for it already); the Sunday brunch has loads of great stuff. You can hang around for a long time and really get your money's worth, especially if you're anything like my wife and have an insatiable appetite for lobster and scallops.
If you're from Taiwan and need a hotel to stay in, then coming to Pacific Palms is a no-brainer.

Given that this place is located out in the arm-pit of LA (ie the city of industry) its actually quite nice. Located on a bit of a hill top the hotel is adjacent to two golf courses and a driving range that pretty much lights up the sky for miles around.
The rates aren't bad, there's a 24 hour fitness center, they have free wifi, and the rooms are quite large. The food at the restaurant is pretty good and not badly priced.
Definitely would recommend to any traveling business person visiting people out in the city of industry.

wow......our experience here was nothing like erica s. i wasn't the bride, but i was with her every step of the way. the only thing she complained about during the entire experience was the hotel not being able to tell her in advance if she could get early check in the day of her wedding.
this is only the second wedding i've been to in town, so i can't say it's the best, but it sure was beautiful. the gazebo is high on top of a hill (complimentary golf carts were used as shuttles back and forth) so you can see the view for miles and miles. surrounded by a golf course, there's greenery everywhere.
this used to be the old sheraton hotel, but the rooms have been remodeled (except they still have the old air conditioning controls). the standard room was quite roomy but the bathroom could only fit one person at a time. the suite was a single bedroom suite with only one sink in the bathroom. the views were incredible.
crystal kelly was the wedding coordinator. she could not have been more than 25 but she did a pretty good job. there was also a manager guy there the whole time, even walking the newlyweds table to table during their "thank you toasts".
pacific palms must cater to a lot of asians because there was a full menu of chinese food which is what the couple chose for their reception. 7 courses later (i think), we were all stuffed. there was the typical shark fin soup, cold plate with jellyfish and meats, fried rice, braised chicken, mushroom/veggie plate, mayo shrimp, some scallop/chicken in a tostada looking thingie, and lobster. just like at any great chinese restaurant. yum! (though not like any chinese restaurant, they do not let you take the leftovers home.)
the wedding bartender poured very stiff drinks, but was kinda slow. the bartender at the 2nd level (where we flocked to because that's where all the action was) was lame because he carded every single person....even the newlyweds! what bride carries her drivers license with her? he seriously wouldn't serve those of us who didn't have our IDs with us. lame-o!

I've stayed at Pacific Palms twice now for business trips I take to L.A., and have attended several political fundraisers here. The staff is really helpful, and the hotel is spacious. The design of the hotel is gorgeous and the driving range and golf courses are top notch. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with views of the valley below.
I love the new lounge they put in on the 2nd floor...GREAT mixed drinks, attentive bartender, and they have individual table-seats set up in front of a flatscreen...great sports-watching setup!
The only negative is that the rooms are somewhat small, and one time I stayed there, my room was a few floors above where a party was taking place and the music was out of control loud.
I am reviewing at a brides point of view since I had my wedding fairly resently (5/3/08) and I knew this is the first to go for this review.
Unfortunately, I had to go to their corporate personnel with my issues I will tell you why.
First, you would think that a hotel with 244 rooms or more would have two regular rooms for my mom and my grandparents and would be no problems but it was and we were told that we had plenty of time to book our rooms. They were booked solid for my wedding and I kept hearing about another party booked up all of the rooms for their excuse and I was really tired of hearing that over and over again while they could have booked a room for another hotel and arranged to have a shuttle taken from here to the other hotel but that didn't happen. They kept their excuse.
Then, they had our rooms mixed up for my suite for the honeymoon and took an hour to fix while I was ready t check in.
They had room for the night before the wedding t be ableto have rooms for my family but (they mixed up their rooms too) then baggage guy insulted my grandpa's girlfriend that is 80 something and told her she looked older than 90.
My wedding coordinator Marlo Fleming doesn't return phone calls nor listen to my details. For example, I had to call her to get my flowers and a friend to get my flowers to my room so my bridal party could have them before the wedding for pictures and by the time I got them in which an issue with the florist she was no where to be found to fix the problem. I had pretty much do all the work for her on the wedding the only thing she did was get a golf cart to me and held my flowers and never asked "is there anything I can do"...not once.
The drivers for the golf carts made my husband's grandmother walk to the reception site which was far form the parking lot and we paid extra for the extra carts to take elderly guests there and she has to walk with a cane and she has a bad hip. Enough said there. And tey almost refused to drive my husband to the site until he told him off.
My cocktail hour was suppose to be on the patio and they everyone in the unfinished reception hall and a lot of people didn't get the hot appetizers because they didn't have enough for 100 people.
The room layout was not like the diagram nor was it safe because people were getting trampled by the foot traffic because the room wasn't safe and I don't know that because nobody said maybe you should get a bigger room or anything by the wedding coordinator. And because the coordinator was no where to be found I wasn't able to see the room before the wedding like I should have.
And as family left the hotel to go home from the wedding they wouldn't give them their baggage because they got the wrong baggage from the wrong room number.
There's a lot more.
On a lighter note, I choose this place because the grounds were beautiful and I was confident enough that they could pull through since they deal with business like this but I don't know what would have happened.
Now I know some of my guest who have been to events at Pacific Palms and used to felt like Pacific Palms was going to pull through but they were disappointed as I was at everything that happened and they were guests. For the other guests they loved the location so I am glad everyone didn't see what I saw.
Did I mention the bartender served an under aged person liquor in front of a table full of adults who know better?
Don't have a wedding here.

i golfed here. i have golfed at about three or four different courses now (i'm a n00b, yes) but i prefer off-roading with the golf cart so much more than the game. i am serious.
this golf course is probably the best so far. i had a ton of fun (esp. driving the cart).
see pics!
at Red, we sat outside and had h'or deurves. the drinks are alright, they didn't have goose. that's a slight downgrade.

lodged here twice and i had a great experience both times. the only difference was that the room with king size bed was much more spacious than room with 2 double queeens.
my first experience was for a weekend getaway with my fiance and pup. it's nice that pacific palms accepts dogs, which made the experience even better. i am really picky with cleanliness and this location exceeded my expectations. the room was an amazing size with balcony and view. we took advantage of all the amenities, including golf range, pool, and gym. staff provided excellent customer serivce and were extremely friendly. the location is approx. 3 miles from target and within reasonable distance to dining.

I have recently stayed here at the Pacific Palms resort. The hotel is well maintained and is extremely clean. Staff are very professional and courteous. The only issue I had was when i made my reservation for two rooms with a connecting door, they were not able to accomadate that. They werent even able to get two rooms near eachother, unless I upgraded to executive level, where I had to pay an extra $45 a night for each room, which I did. They said the benefit for the executive level, was there is a breakfast and snack bar. They were open the day I checked in and they only had coffee and muffins for breakfast. Then for the next few days I stayed, I never seen them open again. It was not worth the $45 extra per night. If I didn't have to pay that, I would have given a high rating.
