3 reviews for Pacific Inn the
What an unexpected surprise this place was! Outside it looks just 'okay' and maybe even bad but the room we got was fantastic. It had lovely updated decor, attractive and quite nice bedding and a balcony overlooking a park. It was definitely a WOW!! sort of experience!
Bathroom goodies are cute and good quality. The towels are new and white! The place was upscale without the upscale prices one usually experiences.
Oh, and there is a pool on the 2nd floor with opening to the sky. Nice touch.
We went there because they allow dogs. Sometimes I must admit we sneak our dog into motels because a place won't allow them and we are stranded out in the middle of no place. This one does allow dogs and are quite friendly about it all.
It's a very very short car ride to the beach (or you could walk if you aren't carrying beach gear). The downtown of cute Seal Beach is close too.
Great experience! I highly recommend this place!
This place is pretty cool. It's hard to beat the location as it's literally 2 blocks away from the Main St. area of Seal Beach, which I've found to be a lot of fun to walk around and dine in.
They offer complimentary wireless internet, free parking, wolfgang puck coffee, and each of the rooms have an outdoor balcony (though there's not much to look at from the majority of the rooms). The inn isn't much to look at from the outside, but the rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are nicely decorated.
The pool serves as the center of the hotel, which is actually open air - no roof! On my trip this was particularly interesting because it rained off and on, so as you stepped out of your room, it was raining a few feet away inside the hotel (all the walkways are covered though).
I took advantage of the continental breakfast which was what I would expect. I used the fitness center as well, which was adequate enough for my purposes (2 treadmills, 2 bikes, a bench and a universal weight machine, tv, water cooler, towels).
I will definitely stay here again on future trips to the Seal Beach area.
As soon as we entered the room were were like "WOW!!!'
Now its possible we had a wheelchair accessible room because it was so large but that being said it was CLEAN. The bathroom door was a unique frosted sliding glass door and the little trinkets in the bathroom were a cute Polynesian /bamboo theme. We were on the 3rd floor and the continental breakfast kitchen was by far superior to a lot of hotels i've stayed at. The pool in the lovely atrium was a little on hte small side but we werent there to swim. I am going back this weekend for another pleasure/business trip. I will see if my 2nd visit was as nice as my first.
