One word: GHETTO.
It was relatively clean but everything felt lived-in / used. The elevator had graffiti written all over it and the painting hanging up had a huge hole in it which was covered up (rather horribly) with duct tape! Oh, and the "Jacuzzi" wasn't really a jacuzzi, it was a bath tub. Thank goodness I spent the majority of the night blindfolded...

there are many ways to look at this shit hole.
you have the basics. there will be a bed, running water, shower, toilet, fresh towels and sink. once you tune down your expectations and ONLY expect the basics, you will be happy camper.
otherwise, this could be great if you are a writer, trying to experience the romantic lifestyle of a fresh-off-the-boat illegal in middle california. yupe, you will get the full ride here, cigarette-burned sheets, shared shower, public bathroom, noisy neighbors and all.
to top it off, you have to give them your wet towels in order to redeem fresh ones, because you may just decide to steal their cumstained rags.
however, it is cheap. but you should factor in the damage done to your living standard may be psychological and permanent.
A one night stay is less than a sushi dinner.
...with a free dinner buffet, free buffet breakfast, a TWO person Jacuzzi (well bathtub that bubbles), free WiFi, and they also have free cookies in the lobby.
An ex-boyfriend who still lived at home (don't ask) used to take me here at least three times a week for some um, "quality time" Apparently, native Cupertino-ans don't get busy in cars and or public places. They come to this lovely -cheap- chain. Talk about spoiled. In San Mateo, all we had were uhhh cars and pulic places. OH! And friends' homes whose parents were never home. But I digress
The chain is clean and gets four stars for all the free stuff.
Docked one for the memories. Yes, minus a star for a completely unrelated personal reason. Shame on me.
p.s. the 'best' one is Crescent, off Hwy 85 but this one has an In-N-Out across the street --just in case you're not a buffet person

If I could give negative stars.........I totallly would here. This place is the WORST hotel I've ever seen. The carpets are crusty.......you could see shit growing on them practically. The reception area smells like it's been hotboxed with cigarettes. The hallways smell like cigarettes and mold. There are cigarette butts in the hallways window sills. And here's the kicker......the staff is even worse! Deanna the front desk girl gave the most horrific service I've ever had. She straight up talked to her friend the whole time we were down there. Another customer called on the phone and she told him it's been busy so she couldn't check on something for him, then put him on hold and started talking to her friend again. It was sooo ghetto we couldn't even stay there, and now we're fighting to get refunded. Raj the manager said he would refund us twice when we called and never did..........we're taking it up with the credit card company as a dispute now. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to contract a disease..........
