Best Chinese Buffet Ever
I was introduced to Pacific Buffet by a friend who had raved about the food. i really like good Chinese food. There are a number of Oriental restaurants in Fremont, but the ones I've been to leave something to be desired and i was never able to define it till i ate at Pacific Buffet.
The food-there is such a distinct difference. The words crisp, clean, and fresh stand out every dish I've had has a wonderful melding of flavors, yet the essence of each ingredient makes itself known- Chicken, beef, peas, all the spices and Flavors-it tastes like they spent the day preparing the meal with care. Will what else i want my kids like it too.
This place is fairly good overall... If you like fish, this is probably your type of buffet. The selection of fishes with crab, lobster, prawns, mussels, salmon, fluke, etc. is very good. The sushi is not so good, in fact, it's not even sushi...but for the price, it's worth it...could be a 3 star if you don't like fish..they do have decent pepper chicken and general tso's....alot of chinese people seem to come here and it is a chinese buffet, lines can be long and crowded at lunch.
Desserts are average but the ice cream and fruit is good. Again, it's very chinese. bathroom kinda grimy. Price for lunch,$7.95 hard to beat...
I leave 'em $10 bucks with tip, I'm stuffed///
I went here today with my family and another group of my parent's friends. I think they food here is better than The Worlds Gourmet Buffet and The Chinese Buffet both located around the area. The way they cook their craw fishes are so much more flavorful! It was a juicy garlicky taste and it was yummy. I helped myself to about 4 plates full of craw fishes. I loved it. I think that is the main reason why I am giving it a four star. The honey glazed walnut prawns actually had walnuts in them! That I liked. They also had a lot of seafood plates here, like crabs, lobster, oysters, shrimps served is so many ways, and such. So if you are a seafood lover, come here!
The sushi here isn't good, I think it was bland, they barely put any crab meat, but instead it was full of avocado. Their hot and sour soup tasted a lot like water, it barely had any flavor in it, I had to pour some soy sauce in it for it to taste like something.
The inside decor looked very grimy, especially the dinning area. Those big cushy diner chairs were ripped, the carpet was filled with black stains and the silverware looked totally worn out.
OK... So buffets have variety right????.... but you'll never have variety as expansive as Pacific Buffet. An A-OK selection of not so good sushi, Chinese dish and sea foods. Even deep fried frog legs! Their prawns were always good, and the noodle station is delightful. One of the main attraction of this restaurant is the chocolate fondue fountain.
Make sure you walk in with a ravenous appetite and a few extra notches to spare in your belt.
If you like seafood then this is the place. They have a wide variety of selections like at Todia for an affordable price. I used a 15% off coupon and with two drinks total with tip came out to $36 for two. Not bad deal considering it's a Sat dinner buffet. Their popular selection is the hot crab legs. Their ginger scallion fried crab is pretty good too given that the crab was probably dead and frozen before being cooked. They have a wide selection of other foods, a lot better than other buffet places I've been to.
For the price and seafood selection this place can't be beat. Service was good as well since I had 3 soda refills and most non self refill buffet places I've been to, it's hard to get a refill.
They have chocolate fondue with marshmallows or strawberries. The chocolate is actually in a crock pot not one of those fountain things. Dessert selection is kind of skimpy but acceptable.
It's like a mini Todai in here. In general, I don't like buffets, but it's a cheap deal for lunch, $8. The quality is mediocre, but I did enjoy the soft serve for dessert. There is a LOT of fried food and I felt unhealthy leaving this place. For a cheap buffet, I'd rather go to Sweet Tomatoes, but as far as Chinese food buffets this place is ok.
I always have a craving for the food in this buffet.
Pacific Buffet has a good selection of Chinese food, they also have sushi as well. One thing that I noticed is that the buffet is starting to change it's food selection every time I go there now. Last time I went there, they didn't have the chocolate fondue anymore, and they didn't have the baked crab that I loved.
Hopefully this buffet doesn't get worse, but I still love it so far.
We (party of 60+ people) had a wonderful experience at this restaurant last week (10/06/09). The menu selection is pretty much standard like any chinese buffet, with one exception, the quality of the food is good, it tasted and looked fresh. The service was good and the new manager is attentive to the customers needs... his name is Richard and so far, so good... keep up the good work. The place looked clean to me. The restroom is descent and did not smell. I'd recommend this place.
I recently went here and to my surprise the quality has gone up. There was a sign that it was under new management and it shows. It's a little cleaner than last time and a little more food selection. This place is definitely better than World Gourmet and Mowry Buffet.
Try not to go here when they are in the middle of changing from their lunch menu to dinner menu (usually at 3pm) though. You'll most likely get scraps and they don't refill food items as often.
I came here when it first opened, and I come here every few months for lunch. The food is much fresher and of much better quality then it was for the past few months. They downgraded the chocolate fondue, but I think they should just take it out because it appears hard to maintain and disgusting because all the little kids like put their oily little hands in there and the parents don't even care because apparently teaching your kids manners is not important in our society today.
The food choices are not as numerous as Newark Buffet, but I do enjoy their vegetable selection more. Personally I don't see myself coming back here often as when I crave a buffet style lunch I just go to Newark Buffet which has a wider variety and selection of food that seems to always be hot, fresh and plentiful. Also Pacific Buffet is more expensive, though the service is better.
Holy shizniza!!?!?!
That's what you'll exclaim when you start putting stuff on your plate. This buffet has EVERYTHING. Dim sum, an assortment of meats, crab, sushi, squid, veggies, pizza, chocolate fondue, barbeque ribs, soft serve, fruit, salad, fish, mussels, shrimp, clams... I KNOW i am forgetting something. In my first trip to the buffet, I came back with two plates FULL of food, all of it delicious looking.
I think what's more SHIZNIZA is the price. 8.99 for Saturday lunch and ~11.99 for Sunday lunch. Really? unlimited crabs, sushi, clams, and all that other ish for THAT price? It's ridiculous!
In terms of the quality of food, most of it was good. There were some things that were iffy, but I would say 90% of the food was yummy. I would highly recommend their clams *drool* and their dim sum!
Service was meh. They were good about picking up plates, but it felt like it took forever to get a soda refill. But who really cares, you mostly serve yourself anyway.
My mind is still blown by the fact that I only spent 11.99 for this lunch. W.T.F.
really??? an average 3 stars people?? I was sure that I'd fine this place to be a 1 star rating!!
We came here between lunch and dinner on a Wednesday (we paid lunch prices). Only a few other casual diners were engulfing their food.
I am so disgusted with this place. The food quality was unbearable. Everything was basically drenched in oil, very over cooked, and was down right awful! I asked the waiter for some lemons for my water, he gave them to me with his fingers and not on a plate! GROSS!!! I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOUR HANDS HAVE BEEN!!! FOR ALL I KNOW YOU WERE PICKING UR ASS!!!
After eating here, I wanted to puke!! BLEH!!!
I have gone to Pacific Buffet several times. Originally when the place opened, dinner was ok. I stopped for a few years, and recently went back for lunch. Sushi was ok, but the hot food was cold and from the previous night. Recently, my son and I went to celebrate a special event for dinner --- everything was awful including the sushi. I do not know what happened but the quality was not there. When I asked for a refund, because nothing was edible, they just looked at me.
I honestly do not like this place. I don't know...the place is just dirty and as few days ago I actually used the bathroom and it was just damp and cold. GROSS...the service isn't too bad here..the food.mehhhh...i jus feel dirty in there...
Whatever happened to the chocolate fountain? maybe i missed it
I came here for a graduation luncheon. I wasn't expecting much as I figured it was just another asian buffet. I suppose with low expectations, Pacific Buffet actually made me a fan.
While they offer most the same as the rest, more than your average asian buffet, they do have more of a selection, tastier and fresher fare. It doesn't look like it's been sitting out all day. And with the traffic they've got, they have to constantly replenish.
Notables: Baked Mussels, Fried Octopus, Kalbi, Sauteed Mushrooms, String Beans, Stuffed Mushrooms, Eggrolls. Of course they have the obligatory "sushi" bar which really simply offered rolls. Interestingly enough, it looked like a variety, but upon examining, they all had the same exact ingredients in the rolls, just packaged differently. They also offer a handful of dim sum items, mongolian bbq, a section devoted to fruits, and desserts.
One of the main reasons I will come back is the chocolate fountain with the strawberries and marshmallows on skewers. Nice sized, sweet strawberries with decent quality chocolate that hardens after you coat your strawberry. What a plus! It doesn't leave the runny, goopy mess on your plate! Loved their soft serve cones too - the ice cream was milky, just how I like it.
Filling meal with above average quality and delicious desserts to finish it off!
Quality at this place has gone down.... Don't think I'll be going back... If they had 1.5 stars I'd give it that...

This place is cheap. But in a good way.

Frog legs, snails, sushi, chocolate fondue, everything your heart desires.
Only come during weekday lunch hours, $7.99 as opposed to dinner and holiday prices: $14.99.
Good stuff with impersonal staff. Alright.
Tried the first delicious frog legs as I can remember.
The snails here aren't your average escargot - not so good.
Typical buffet setting - food sitting out for long periods, kind of dirty feel to the restaurant, sometimes serving spoons feel sticky because a hundred other people have touched them before. Buffet restaurants generally aren't the cleanest places (with the exception of Palace BBQ Buffet).
Somebody asked about the chocolate fountain in an earlier review. Don't feel too bad about missing the opportunity to get your chocolate dipped strawberries... I once saw a bunch of kids washing their hands in the chocolate fountain. Parents, watch your kids or teach them some manners. That was pretty disgusting.
The best part of this place definitely is the chocolate fondue fountain. Of all the Chinese buffet places I've been to, dessert is definitely the best here.
If you're a crab aficionado, you're in luck. King crab legs for DAYS at this place! It's also pretty huge, so if you've got a large party and you're looking for a casual celebration, this would be a good spot. Just beware of general party times, like around graduations and holidays. The price may seem a bit much ($14) per person, but compared to other places, you're getting a lot more than you expect.
If you're on a seafood binge, definitely come to Pacific, otherwise, refine your culinary cravings and try something different.
I've gone to this place twice, both for graduation parties. First time we sat in a semi-closed off area for parties which extended into the patio, making the party a little more intimate for our family. This time, we were placed in an area that was a little elevated, near a ramp straight into the buffet. The place is kind of small, compared to places like Super Buffet in San Jose, but this just means its not too far from the food from wherever you sit.
There's a variety of foods, separated nicely in sections. The noodle making station always does well and the sushi is always being made. Sometimes they are a little slow in refilling the items and some items were not as fresh as they could be. My cousin found that a few of the strawberries, that were being dipped into the chocolate fountain, had some mold on it. Though the chocolate fountain is a big hit, its a dangerous place to be. They cover the place it is located with saran wrap but if you lean it too much or the kids reach over to dip their food, the chocolate can easily get on your clothes. And there's a sign that says to NOT dip your ice cream, yet many people do it all of the time.
There was a sign saying today's (Sunday) lunch was $10.99, I believe to be the cheapest price for a Sunday lunch I've seen anywhere. It's a good price for the amount of selection they have. Service-wise, the waiters stood around in groups talking while many tables had plenty of empty plates and drink cups that needed cleaning or refilling.
So, minus one star for service and another for the molded strawberries/having to be EXTREMELY cautious around the chocolate fountain, and the waiter/waitress services.
I went to Chinese Buffet today on Mowry for a party and I thought about how much better Pacific Buffet was!
This place has a very large assortment! The sushi is very good here, entrees are pretty good, some are better than others but all are okay and surely better than other buffets.
The prices are a steal for what you can get. Service is not that great but the food makes me keep coming back, no wonder why its always packed!
Whenever you go to a Chinese buffet restaurant you know what you are expecting: lots of seasonal seafood!
I came here for the oysters, mussels, clamps and crab! I would occasionally swallow a few raw oyster if they were the tiny ones... yummy! Of course I'll go for the cooked food afterwards, the veggie are usually nice. Fruits, depending on seasons... and I quite like messing at the chocolate fountain with strawberries...... just want to see how thick a coat of chocolate could get!!!!
the last time i've been to this location was 3 years ago. it was good then. now? not so much. i'm basing this review mostly on the women's bathroom. determining which stall to use, i already knew i would be disgusted by the odor of rancid pee that mingled to my nostrils.
i look in stall 1, pee all over the toilet seat.
i peek in stall 2, urine on the floor, where people form their stance to float above the toilet seat.
i attempt stall 3... SCREW THAT! my chances of doodoo surprises are increasing!
on top of that, the sink was a hot mess and there was paper towels fumbled across the bathroom. no fun at all.
i'm a stronger believer with judging a restaurant with their bathrooms because if they can't keep that clean, who knows what other stuff they dont keep clean as well.
also, the food taste like there was butter in everything. i started to build a Flem because of it.
honestly, i think this place is better than super or yummy buffet, but with the atmosphere of dirtiness, i wouldn't even bother to risk my health.

based on my comparison to other asian buffets, i'd say pacific buffet is hailing at number 1 on my… Read more »
First off let me be clear that I've been too this place many of times before last night and all my previous experiences were good.
So last night my family and I decided to go to Pacific buffet and try the food there again. WOW...what a different experience it was. To start, the ownership seemed to have changed and the people all looked angry. The BIGGEST complaint was that there was no food. We had to ask the owner why there was no food there.
What surprised me was their response about why there wasn't enough food.."Everything is expensive,so we had to cut down." WHAT?? Are you kidding me? If you can't afford to run a buffet than don't open one.
All in all, I literally felt like a dog scrounging for food in a dark alleyway with several other dogs (no offense to anyone there yesterday). Save your money and go to McDonalds, you'll have better experience.
This place is like an asian buffet with typical yucky sushi. What makes it different, in my opinion, is the fondue fountain. It's extreeemely delicious, but the only bad thing about it is that you dunno who stuck what in there before you. I say go when they first open so you get the first chocolate. But I don't know how they clean that either. Hmmm. It's a smallish looking buffet, their food is alright. Not so much variety, but it's good. Service is pretty good, but how good of service can you ask for at a buffet, right? What you pay is basically what you get.
If Pacific Buffet had promoted an "All You Can Eat For FREE" day... I still would not return to this sickening mess-hall. After hiking up the underestimated slopes of "Mission Peak", me and my boys were extremely hungry. What better way to cease that hunger, well, a BUFFET! Someone recommended Pacific Buffet- so we gave it a shot.
Now you can't really expect much from buffets unless it's Todai or you're in Vegas. So I didn't have any high expectations. And much to my demise, Pacific Buffet was the worst buffet I have ever encountered. Unless you are partial to eating fruit flies in your dessert and fruit, I would never lay a foot in this place.
We had found that our strawberries were infested with little flies; we had already eaten a handful and after taking a half bite of one I found a whole nest. I was infuriated and nauseous. I immediately brought it to the managers attention. After literally a second of inspecting the strawberry he looked at and threw it away. Without an apology he walked away and and came back with another strawberry. After analyzing the strawberry he exclaimed "there are no flies in this one". I was furious.
All I wanted was accountability and an apology, but his poor justification of the situation proved to me that their customer service lacked integrity. He then began to claim that all we wanted was to get away with a free meal. Money was not an issue for us. I refused to pay full price for this disgusting meal and he threatened to call the police. I told him to do it. After 20 minutes of anxious waiting, a cop never arrived. And the Fremont Police Department is literally across the street! We payed and left. I will never recommend nor set foot in this place again.
Finally! I believe that this Chinese buffet may be the one that is actually clean! I went there for lunch ($7.99) and they have a vast selection of food. It's the typical cholesterol-full food everyone sees at buffets. It kind of makes me sick when I see all the grease, but I realize that the seafood is MAGNIFICENT. They have REAL snow crab legs compared to other places. To top it all off, they have tons of desserts and a fondue fountain! This place is good for cheap eats, but like every other Chinese Buffets, it is somewhat sub-par for me to like them because of the items. I am giving this place four stars which is pretty high because I generally dislike Chinese buffets.
~The Sleepy Thinker Award: Best Chinese Buffet in Fremont~
So I was doing my evening run and to ease the pain I felt shooting through my outta shape body, my mind wandered to what I was going to STUFF MY FACE with afterwards. Kinda counterproductive huh? I'm such a walking contradiction.
Suddenly it came to me -- PACIFIC BUFFET! Yeah, I'm gonna go crazy on those FRESH WATER SHRIMPS sliced neatly in half and maybe a couple of those CRAB LEGS, probably top of the evening with an ice cream cone. I know, I know, I'm not a huge fan of asian/seafood buffets either, but I was having a massive craving. And of all the buffets I know, I'd choose Pacific.
Honey was down to drive to Fremont after I told him it's only $15 BUCKS a head. Arrived and it wasn't crowded, but not empty either. Figured they'd have to replenish the buffet a few more times with hot, steamy, fresh food. THAT THEY DID! Woohoo, got my fill of those shrimpies, crab legs, and some steamed veggies. Crabs came out hot, so when I cracked the leg, the meat just slid out.
For the price, I definitely got my money's worth. Pacific isn't a big buffet, but they have the items I can eat all night. There's also a steak section, mongolian, sushi, seafood, chinese food, and american food, plus fruit, salad, and dessert. Honey went crazy on the clams, oysters, and sashimi. He noted that the fish was fresh, just not the same quality as a great Japanese restaurant.
PLUS, we both feel fine today. I must say I was a bit worried about him because he consumed quite a bit of raw seafood from a buffet. It's now noon and I'm happy to report that he is A-OK. All in all, I got my fix and was pretty darn happy too!
I came here to see old friends and celebrate a special occasion. I am usually fashionably late. The staff was friendly and helpful as I waited for everyone else to arrive. The food was okay with the honey shrimp sans walnuts and the bbq short ribs as standouts, but certainly not outstanding. The sushi area did not look that great, so I passed. I also noticed frog legs and escargot by the usual baked mussels and oysters.
I topped off the meal with my favorite desserts, the egg custard tart and the egg custard bao. The tart was just wrong and inedible-no sweetness or taste. The custard bao so creamy and yummy. As a general rule, I avoid fountains of anything and that was also true of thier massive chocolate fountain. Okay, it wasn't that big, but it towered over me sitting on the table. I think for the price-$7.99, selection, quality of the food and the service, this place is a good deal.
This place easily gets packed! If you're the type that needs space, I suggest looking elsewhere. Getting food here requires you to wade through a mob of bears.
The food is cooked well. Beef has the springy taste and seafood has the slick glide. Fruit is fresh and cut evenly. After a few plates though, you notice that this buffet is the typical cheap-eat, with few surprises. The taste doesn't hold up too long. Think of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant for the masses. I wonder if the marshmallows exist to make up the difference.
Great place to fix your hunger but not for quality-on-demand guests. Drinks are provided by the wait staff. Same goes for the fortune cookies.
This place is so-so. My parents took me here to eat and I've been back twice. As buffet goes, it's a bit expensive for dinner, but they have a good selection. I made a few rounds and found that there weren't many things I actually wanted to eat.
Their sushi isn't very good, and I don't trust the fish to not get me sick. There were oysters, shrimp, etc. that didn't taste very fresh. Their hot food was okay. I liked their jumbo shrimp, but it disappears almost instantaneously when it's put out, so I had to hover around for the next round and fight the other Asians when it was set down.
They have a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows on skewers. Chocolate covered strawberries are soooo good!
Favorite asian buffet in the area! For the price, I think it's amazing. Everything tastes good - love the huge shrimp with like mayo sauce and the fried shrimp are the best. Love that you can have them make your sushi, I will get like eel & avocado handrolls. Also chocolate fountain is great.
Especially for weekday lunch, it's like $8 - how can you beat that??
My brother came in from LA to help me move my Fiance from her apartment to my house. My brother is a big fan of seafood. He can eat seafood for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and if he could, probably in his sleep.
So what better way to reward my brother for all his help then taking him out to an all you can eat seafood buffet and thus our dinner travel to Pacific Buffet.
Not sure how many of you remember, but the location of this Pacific Buffet originally was a Mexican Place (almost want to say El Torito) and over the decades (yes I've been in Fremont that long) that his place has taken on several different looks and style. The reason why I mention this, simple, while this may be a Chinese all you can eat Seafood Spot, the decor definitely still have the hints of Mexican (I believe they still have some of the old Corona umbrellas outside and signs) still in place. This mixed in with the Chinese element and Christmas lights still up gives you an interesting motif.
But lets talk food. This is mostly about the seafood. They have either 4 or 5 areas that serve their main dishes. Most of it are Chinese but they definitely have a little bit of American thrown in. They have everything from Crab Legs (not the Alaskan kings but more like the oplio legs), probably about 6 or 7 different variations of shrimp (I personally enjoyed the deep fried and the coconut shrimp is a must try) several kinds of fish, a sushi bar, and oysters and muscles.
They do offer a couple of chicken dishes, dim-sum, fried rice, and some American dishes such as pot roast, pizza, and french fries and some exotic dishes such as frog legs. The salad bar and fruit bar was very uninspired. The fruit selection consisted of Cantaloupe and Watermelon and the salad bar, to be honest I've been to Round Tables and Pizza places that offer a better selection.
The dessert bar here is also limited. Got some soft served ice cream and the chocolate fountain (broken at the time) as well as a couple of other cakes, but nothing that had that "wow" factor.
The food here is all about mass quantities and not quality. Most of it was forgettable with the exception of the Coconut Shrimp and the Fried Shrimp. Both my brother and I were hungry from all the moving that we did, so it was all about stuffing our face with as much food as possible. The fiance though the selection was limited she found enough food there and different food for a vegetarian.
The best item here, probably the price. At about $15, you really can't beat that price for an all you can eat seafood buffet. Overall probably a 2 or 2.5 star place, but that price point gives it a bump up to 3 star. For about the same price as say a Home Town Buffet or Fresh Choice, if you're just looking to stuff your face till your stomach explodes with seafood, Pacific Buffet is a great place for you, as long as you don't mind the Chinese-Christmas-Mexican decor.
This restaurant is ok. The selection is extensive but the quality of food is average, as can be expected from buffet type restaurants. Pricing is reasonable. The seafood selection includes alaskan crab legs and shrimp cocktail. The sushi bar has a good selection but again, the quality is average. My one tip would be to grab food from the attended grill; this will be your best shot at getting fresh food cooked in moderate portions.
Buffet? Time to stuff my face.
A lot of Chinese food. I was really happy with the gazed prawns, too bad they didn't have any walnuts to go with it. The main attraction seems to the be the king crab legs, but sadly these are some skinny crabs. Fruit was off the hook. Clams were also ok. Overall it was just ok, the sushi was not good at all. At the end of it, eating all that crab got too tedious and there wasn't anything else really appealing to eat. I still had room for more, but I wasn't interested in anything else. A lot of oily food :(
So I was done eating... gotta wash my hands. Ok.. now drying them. They got an automatic paper dispenser, that gives u a tiny sheet. I was there waving my hand at the sensor for about a good couple of minutes.
It's not a bad place to try, it's not a fancy place just a place to grub with your large family. I actually expected WORST, but it came out for the BETTER :)
I can only describe one word for this place....'Yuck!' I've been to much better buffets then this. I went here for Mother's Day one year and we've never gone back since. I wasn't expressed by the quality by the place but my friend like this place.
I came here with my grandmother, great-aunt, and 11 year old cousin. We all found something we could enjoy (both his and my grandma laughed when he and I picked out nearly identical items even though we didn't really go to the buffet line together). There are three long buffet stations of ready-to-eat food, a side line with Mongolian barbecue and sushi, and then another side line with desserts (including a chocolate fondue fountain).
We came on a Friday around lunchtime, and it was super crowded. We didn't wait long, but when the hostess went to seat us, she went through the crowds without even looking to see if our two slow-moving grandmas were following. The hostess seemed to be much more into her appearance (stiletto heals and a skintight minidress paired with trashy makeup) than actually seating people and making them feel comfortable.
As a Jew, there were a lot of pork items that I couldn't try, and things like Fried Frog Legs that are off my menu, too.
We came here with all of our friends for my husband's birthday. Why? Because it was the most central location for everyone and most of the guys wanted to eat A LOT!
There were 13 of us. We made a reservation for that evening, but we still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. Once we were seated, it was hard to move around to get food because it was SO CROWDED. The tables to so close together, it was tough for us to walk in and out from our chairs to get something to eat.
The food was ok at best. It had all of your standard buffet food. The only thing different that I noticed from other buffets was that they had a chocolate fountain by the dessert area.
I was excited to see this, but was disgusted when I saw all the kids and a few adults putting their fingers and used utensils to cover their fruit in the fountain!!! After I saw that, I didn't eat anymore. Granted, we went with all our friends and most of us left satisfied and full, that is the last time we are going to plan anything at that place again.
I been to this place a while ago, food is not good. I agree with other reviewer, food just seem to be sitting out very long. I am surrprise this place still in business.
My family loves this place and consumes here for celebrations.
The place is clean, huge staff, even larger selections of food ...
from your staple American dishes, to Chinese with it's dim sum, Sushi, SEAFOOD (oyster on a half shell & cocktail shrimp!), Mongolian BBQ, etc.
You get it .. and it all tastes pretty good .. not gross/greasy like other buffets. But remember, this is a buffet rating.
The place is also decorated nicely, doesn't smell, clean bathrooms, and ample parking. However, I always question them having their big-screen TV on to random channels (Cops? Mex Soccer? Infommerical? *shrug*)
-1 for what it seems to be an unhappy kitchen staff .. seems to be due to mgmt .. seems to be some I won't be surprised if they have major beef (no pun) and are disgruntle. Come'on mgmt, make your kitchen staff just as happy as your floor people!!
