Comparing this to other PF Changs it just doesn't match up. We've been to PF Changs from Coast to coast and this is probably the worst one we've been to. The main entry is through the Havana tower of the Trop. There is some bar seating in the upstairs section but nothing substantial.
We didn't make rezzies in advance (my fault) so when we ask for a table we are told it will be 1hr 15 min. and oh by the way the pagers deactivate themselves after an hour so come back in 30 minutes to get a pager. So we stroll around for a bit, and when we come back in 30 min to get our pager we are told it will be at least another 50 min. There's nothing that urks me more than the over inflated wait time estimate in order to try and discourage you from dining at said restaurant. So I reply "great" like a giddy school girl and it's back out into the Havana tower. No more than 10 minutes later the pager goes off....
We have a stroller so we are directed toward the elevator which apparently is how they bus the dirty dishes up and down as there is a pile of peoples leftovers on a cart next to the elevator. When we get out at the bottom we are treated to a free tour of the kitchen as the elevator opens into the middle of the cooking area.
The tables are really packed into this restaurant, seemingly more than normal. The food was good as usual. The portions seem to have gotten smaller since they have been offering the prix fixe menu but maybe that's just me. One more thing that didn't bode well for it's rating is that they have absolutely NO draft beer at this location. Boo!
So after writing all that I honestly don't know what the actual pluses were to this place besides that the food tasted great as usual. The wait staff was polite and attentive so yeah, I guess I'd probably go back.
I loved my experience there. Me and my friend went on a Friday afternoon. We ordered a lot of stuff and all of it was great. I recommend the lettuce wraps and the ribs. They were great! Our waitress was really nice and was attentive and helpful. I want to go back again soon.
This was a very quiet place on a Tuesday afternoon. There were maybe 4 tables the whole time we were there. It's a large Changs and seemed as though there was seating upstairs too. The food was exceptional as always. Service was attentive, bit I must say seeing our waiter eat his lunch while we were eating ours was weird. I guess that's how it works when it's that dead.

Two words, Lettuce Wraps. Started out with the chicken lettuce wraps, so good I can't even describe it. They served a pretty big portion of the salmon and mahi-mahi, but taste was mediocre.
PF Chang's can be serviceable Chinese-American food in a pinch. But the misery level of the staff on this post-July 4th weekend Monday was enough to sour any good flavor.

The place is great, but the reason it does not get 5 stars, is that my boyfriend and I did not like our Entrees
What I did love the most about PF Chang's is that this place is great for vegetarians, they do have quite a few appetizers and entrees, as well of a lot of food for those who are not. Being that I am a vegetarian and my boyfriend isn't, it is so difficult to please both of us, and PF Changs sure did that job
The appetizers were amazing, my boyfriend loved his shrimps and we both loved the soy lettuce wraps.
As for the Entrees, I ordered the Veggie lomein, and it was not that great. The noddles i think were fresh but not cooked correctly, because I felt like i was eating dough. My boyfriend felt the same about his meal, and he ordered the "double pan-fried noddles with chicken"
but the DESSERT was mouth watering and cheap....2 dollars each one
Man this is EXPENSIVE American Chinese food. Dont even wanna get into it.

One of the few places in AC that's a good value. The food is very good, the atmosphere is nice, and you won't pay through the nose for a decent meal.
This place is perfect for a date, and women love it. Be sure to try the fried green beans.
This is probably the third PF Chang's I've been to (San Jose, Baltimore, and now AC). When you first enter the restaurant it actually looked a bit small, but who knew there was a gigantic dining area in the basement.
The Good: Darkly lit, pretty nice environment for a chain. My favorite dish is the Mongolian Beef and definitely try the chicken lettuce wraps - soo good. Our waiter was also very good.
The Bad: They somehow managed to lose our reservations...fortunately for us, they sort of gave us someone else's reservation for 3 so we only had about a 10 min wait when we got there for our 9:30 dinner.
Tips: Definitely make reservations for a weekend night. Try the chicken lettuce wraps. If you are with a big group, go family style - the prices here are very reasonable. And don't stuff your face before going out for a long night of gambling.

I must say, I was a little apprehensive about this dinner spot. A group of about thirty friends and family members decided that Atlantic City would be the spot for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party for two couples getting married next month, and that PF Chang's would be the choice for dinner. I wasn't sure how a busy restaurant during one of the first summer shore weekends would be able to accommodate a group our size and with our energy. They pulled it off and then some.
Upon arrival, two long tables next to one another were reserved for our group, and although the restaurant was filled to capacity, it never felt like it was too loud in there to hear one another or carry on conversations. With a plan designed by the couples and a few members of the wedding party, it was decided that for $25/person, we'd be able to have family-style dining with wine and beer. Not only was this a great deal, but the food was delicious and there was a LOT of it!
The waitstaff was very helpful in that they explained everything being served, listened to allergy/vegetarian requests, and were extremely attentive to our needs.
I am not a huge fan of Atlantic City, so I will likely not return to this PF Chang's anytime soon, but I will absolutely recommend it to anyone who will be in that area. They'll take good care of you and you won't be disappointed by the food.

Growing up in Indianapolis, I was a huge fan of PF Changs so for Halloween when I saw that we were staying at the Tropicana, I knew that I would have to have Lettuce Wraps (I love them) and I enjoyed all the drinks here as well. We entered upstairs and went to the larger area downstairs which had lots of tables and allowed you to take in the dark interior.

It is a chain....it is upscale Chinese food and it is also located in the Quarters section of the newly remodeled Tropicana, but I have to say...It's damn good.
This is my second dining experience at PF Changs and both have been consistently good. This time we were dining for lunch and they do offer a lunch special...choose one of the dishes and you can choose between egg drop or hot-n-sour soup, all for 7.50 to 8.50. Not a bad deal, the portion is enormous too.
The atmosphere is very Zen like, wood tables, great lighting and trendy artwork and statues. This is a two story restaurant with a nice bar upstairs and is attached to the mall-like part of the Tropicana. They also have great Organic French Roast coffee and a lot of Organic teas to choose from. On everyone's table you will have three different sauces...now our waiter did not explain the meaning for the sauces but at the one in Florida I learned all about it. Basically you have a spicy chili sauce, soy sauce and a spicy mustard. Mix them together and you get a great tasting dipping sauce for your food.
I had the Moo Goo Gai Pan....a flavorful garlic and ginger sauce with fresh vegetables and chicken and shrimp served with a heaping portion of white rice. Another dish that I tried was the Pepper steak, great flavor and not a bad cut of meat served with a peppers and onion over again a large portion of rice. The Hot-n-sour soup was very tasty and what you expect it to taste like, tofu, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, chicken and that thick broth that has a good kick to it.
The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable and it has a great ambiance that makes it a pleasure to dine in. You will even receive your fortune cookies at the end of the meal.

Cheap. Has vegetarian options in a land that has absolutely nothing for people like me.
It's a chain but its definitely a much nicer one than like a ruby tuesdays or something comparable in price. Very attentive wait staff and the food comes in large portions and tastes good.
Cannot go wrong with this place.

I went to P.F. Chang's in the Tropicana casino a few weeks ago. The food was very good. Probably one of the better Chinese/Japanese places I've eaten at in South Jersey.
The girl at the desk told us the wait was about an hour and gave us a pager so off to the casino we went to kill some time. We came back after about an hour and were promptly seated at a shared booth style table.
Two waitresses came to us and introduced themselves as our servers. One explained that it was her first night as a waitress but we could ask her for anything.
We picked out our entrees and ordered some wine for dinner. The wine came out promptly and the server began to mix three sauces together on the table but never explained what they were for. It wasn't like they brought out won ton's or Chinese noodles for us to munch on before the food came out, so I wasn't sure what the sauce was for.
The sesame crusted tuna was so - so. I've had much better, but the other dishes, especially the orange peel chicken was fantastic.
At one point one of our servers brought us a bottle of saki. I informed her that we hadn't ordered saki. She told me that it came with the meal. I've never turned down booze so we started drinking the saki. A short while later I asked the other server what dish the saki came with. She looked at me and said that the saki wasn't part of any dish there. We then informed the server that we didn't order the saki but was told it came with one of the meals. Very politely, the server told me not to worry about it and that we wouldn't be charged (I know that bottle probably came out of her tips so I was figuring on some type of arguement but nothing at all, very good customer service).
The servers were very friendly and the price wasn't bad. With wine and 3 entrees (no appetizers, we ordered chow fun as a starter) it came to something like 60 bucks, I'm ashamed to admit that I've actually spent more at Outback.
Food was good, the wait not so good. The servers were friendly, and the price was pretty decent. All together I give it a 8 out of 10.

You know, I don't remember exactly what my friend and I ordered while we were at P.F Chang's in Alantic City but I do recall it having caramelized shrimp with walnuts and cantaloupe. This particular dish was pretty yummy. We only chose to eat here because we were staying at a hotel very close to the Tropicana and we were both famished the night we arrived from Philadelphia. The service was medicore until I clumsily knocked over my glass of water and then the female waitress became the most helpful server ever and cleaned up my mess for me.
Very similar to all the pother PF Chang's in the world (it's the Starbucks of chinese restaurants) - however, it works quite well at the Tropicana. And, the best part was, that compared to the other restauarants it was reasonably affordable and had a very short wait for a table.

Located inside the Tropicana Casino and Resort, P.F. Chang's is a great Chinese bistro with delicous and affordable food. Try the Shrimp and Chicken Fried Rice and the Peking Dumplings. And do not pass up dessert...get The Lucky Eight chocolate spring rolls which are truly yummy.

Great just like all of the other P.F Chang's... this one you should definitely make reservations for in advance a few days if you know you will be here because I've heard wait times as long as 2 and 1/2 hours on a Saturday night especially.
