Waiting for a hour before my group and I went to sandbox we came here because we were hungry.


I give this location a 2 . Customer service sucked ! The greeter walked back and forth multiple times helping people who did online orders. Not once did this you g lady greet nor acknowledge my groups and I presence. Another young lady came up to the front and got us on the list finally after the first one failed to do so. Out waiter was informative of the food / menu HOWEVER he also lacked customer service skills.

We were not asked if we wanted refills , he did not ask if we wanted to go containers or anything. He didn't check to see if we needed anything our entire time there.

The food = fried rice I give a 1 it was sooo TASTELESS , it was mushy like steamed sticky rice

Shrimp I give a 8 if was good and flavorful just didn't care for the sauce it came with

I was here for lunch today and am back for evening meal. Lunch was very fortunate to have David as my server and bartender. He was fast and friendly.
Just a couple appetizers shrimp and chicken very good.
Tonight I'm back having sake and dumplings for a light meal. My server is very efficient and accommodating. Thank you Esmeralda !

After our the kids High school Graduation we decided to all go to dinner and since we're in West Oakland this is the closet place. I had never visited a PF Changs before and I honestly do not think I will ever again, not for the lack of quality but the lack in portions. I don't mind paying for food but give me a good amount of it. Like who do you think you're feeding with these small ass plates? I'm honestly more upset that we didn't got to a smaller small and pop shop and ball out with them and have left overs. After seeing the menu we ordered because what can I do I was already there.

Safe to say we ordered a good amount off food there was a total of 7 adults and 2 kids. Our bill ended up being over $300.00 for some freaking noodles and beef and broccoli and different types of chicken.. yea ill pass for next time. & WHO doesn't do free refills on lemonade. Tell me you wanna squeeze as much money as you can from people then you need too. Shame.


What I will say that the reason this location got 4 stars instead of 3 was because when, Prompted that the child in our group has a peanut allergy they were very attentive in letting us know what on the menu she can eat and not eat (they even gave us a printed list of okay food after the manager spoke to us) . There whole procedure on allergy is great and makes you feel comfortable in eating at a restaurant with allergy's. The Waitress also made a very special moment for our graduate. She brought him a dessert with a sparkler that completely shocked him so thank you Olivia for that!

My friend and I made reservations a day or two after Christmas for Jan 16 since we planned to be in the area. When we walked over we learned that they were closed. It would've definitely would've been great to receive an email or notice since the system let us make reservations. I came to Yelp to report the closure but it looks like people already have.

through the years we have been coming here before kids and even after kids. sad to say the quality has gone downhill tremendously.

made reservation via open table. arrived the restaurant was rather available yet there were guests made to wait by front desk. the lady waiting had a bouquet of flowers in her hand so i'm imagining a birthday gathering or so. after we were seated i thought to myself poor lady and her friends it's not even anywhere one would consider packed. why would the front staff not make her feel welcomed?

we could always count of northern dry ribs here. it seems like that is the only dish we could count on sadly. the fried rice - rice was under cooked, rice was chalky raw.

we also ordered shishito peppers and garlic green beans. these are typical appetizers and somehow both were either left on pan too long or they were frozen because both lost their texture slight crunch about them. both were soggy and literally falling apart when we picked them up to eat.

we also ordered dynamite shrimp appetizer. complete failure there sadly as well. it was mostly played with white crunchy fillers and probably had 4 cut up fried pieces of shrimp.

we over heard the guests at table next to us also sent a "chicken dish" back after a mini bite.

sorry to say there were 2 managers on staff for new years night. plenty of staff out on the floor. in the kitchen i'm not exactly sure who is doing the cooking.

quality is downhill and i still cannot figure how those dishes made past quality control via the kitchen manager.

disappointed because this used to be a great place for family style dishes. so far only the northern dry spare ribs was spot on. the rest were sad and adrr of money

one star for the Northern Style Dry spare ribs and one more for the friendly courteous female host that had nothing to do with quality control in the kitchen.

I had high expectations for this place on our Wakanda Forever movie night. I had rarely been disappointed here. The services was great and they were very attentive. My complaint has to do with the portions. I ordered the Wagyu special. It was priced at $44, but I wanted my son to have a first class meal and had high expectations. The amount of steak was pathetic. I could not have been more than 6 or 7 small strips for a total of four ounces. It was covered in a huge amount of mushrooms with some special sauce on the side. If this was an appetizer between $12 - $15, no problem. It WAS tasty. But as an entree??? Come on PF Chang, you can do better. Also, I ordered the lobster special. Another $40. Well, it was the shell of lobster, but it was full of shrimp. There were some pieces of lobster, but it was paltry. Again, do better.

I will go back, because its convenient, but next time will stick to non specials. Those are clearly their forte.

I had not been to a P.F. Chang's for quite a while prior to this visit to the Emeryville location! The food was very good; we had Hot and Sour Soup, Pepper Steak, and Kung Pao Chicken. The menu options are extensive and I'd happily return.

Today we chose PF Changs for lunch because we know it's always been good. I've been to plenty other locations and the food and service was good.

However at this location it is really not good especially the service. First off, we came at 1 pm on a Tuesday (after lunch hour rush) and it took 10 minutes to be sat down. Next it took another 5 minutes for our waiter to come. We told him our order quickly and asked for our two ice waters. We watched him walk back to the register to put in our order and then he just stood there and didn't do much. Note!!!! this whole place is empty and lots of servers around but my main issue with them is that they are just chatting and not doing their job. My server chatted with another female server for another 5 minutes and then we saw him get our ice waters. Yikes! Another waiter came by and checked on us and brought our food instead. I'm confused why our waiter didn't stop by to even ask if we needed anything else of order our food tasted good.
Double yikes. I give him 0 stars for the service.

As for food, we ordered the pork egg rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, and braised pork. All the appetizer dishes were tasty but I do find it a bit salty for me. The lettuce wrap filing was good but the iceberg lettuce was small so it was hard to wrap. I used it as a spoon instead. I'm giving food 4 stars.

Overall our experience here at this location wasn't good. My bf finally spoke to the manager named Chris about todays dining experience and Chris apologized for the lack of service at his restaurant and said he will talk to his servers about it. He's very professional about it.

For this Yelp review I'm averaging the stars as 2.
I probably won't come back to location but I'll definitely try other locations to get the good food.

Haven't been here in years but decided to try it again as I was in the area. The mojito was ok. The old fashioned was really good. The service was slow but not terrible. The fire braised short rib was really good but very small, I opted not to have the pineapple in the fried rice it was very good. The orange chicken was good. The crispy green beans were very good however we had to remind the server we didn't have them and they came pretty much at the end of our meal i was not happy about that.
