I first have to advise that my sister did not think this place was "all that bad". She enjoyed the pool area for her kids and their room did seem a little cleaner than ours. Granted, she requested a cheap rate so I booked this place. She may just be being nice.
My husband and I got a king room on the backside of the motel. Cheap and old is all I can say. The chair had a stain, so did the carpet. There were a couple dead bugs on the floor. The fixtures were old. There were bugs in the old light above the sink. I was afraid to touch the shower curtain. Also, I am 5'9" and the showerhead was even with my chin. Not easy to wash my hair! I did have a spider friend in the shower to greet me every morning.
The bed was hard. The sheets and blanket were ok, because they were so old and worn, they were soft and comfortable. The continental breakfast was cheezmo butt he folks on the big bus tour were all over it! I thought two elderly folks were going to throw down on whose bagel was in the toaster! I passed on breakfast our 2nd morning there. No thanks. Bagels and Sunny D.
The only thing I did enjoy was the price and the pool. It was a large pool-8ft on the deep end. It was clean and the water very warm especially when it was below freezing outside this first cold weekend this fall. The hot tub was super hot but the jets were broken. There was a sign that pool towels required a deposit but they simply gave them to us. I'll gladly pay the extra 40 a night and stay somewhere CLEAN and NEWER even if no one else wants to. Problem with Branson is you got to look for them. There are a few newer hotels but they are scarce. Be careful what you are booking despite reviews. May this one help you-don't stay here!!!
