If you arrive at the Outrigger, you'll notice how slow everything is here. Compared to Oahu, this place is an old retirement senior home next to the beach.

Oh Royal Kahana Resort in Lahaina.
Your lobby is so small and simple.
Plenty of windows to please the eye.
Bean shaped pool doesn't let in a lot of sun.
Your white, sandy beaches have rocks in the shore.
Oh they hurt my feet.
Luckily your not too far away from Kanaapali beach.
You make me feel like home.
You dont' charge for parking
You don't charge for detergent
You don't chaaaaaarge for even internet access
The room was clean, .. big and oh so fine. Oh my, you blow my mind!
Despite your elevators being slow, I will forgive you becuase it is Alooooha!
Oh how I love this place.
Lanais always have a beautiful sunset overlooking Lana'i and Molokai...
Your the best, and nothing can beat your prices.
I'll recommend you to all my friends, even those I never met! Mahalo!

My sister raved about the waipouli outrigger in Kauai so she suggested i stay at the outrigger condos in lahaina. I wanted to make sure i get a hotel near the beach so i can increase my chances of spotting whales from my balcony. We checked into room 902 on the first night after a long drive on the road to hana and realized that our hotel room was nothing like what we saw on the website. It was a dump! So, we stuck through it because we were so tired and we had to wake up early the next morning to watch the sunrise at haleakala. On the second night, we complained about the condition of our room and we got placed in room 1204. This was more like it! Nice view of lanai and molokai. the auau channel was right in front of our room and i was able to see three whales from our balcony! I'll give them the other star when they compensate me for the first night.
