I have a thing for independent businesses, so you can imagine how stoked I was to find a local source for MSR (isobutane) stove fuel.

This shop has a great selection of soft goods to outfit you head to toe, any size, for any season.  You could set yourself and family up with everything that you might need for backpacking here as well.  Props to Elisabeth for getting GoLite packs.

I love finding another reason to not go to REI (dog-haters!).

I'm a little biased here b/c I worked for this company for a year handling their online business and the launching of this store.

You don't need me to tell you, you just need to walk in there yourself to see they really do have everything you'd need to outfit your entire family for the outdoors.

What I can tell you though, as an insider, is that the company is run by an owner who will bend over backwards to help you find anything you need and is a great resource for tips on all types of outdoor activities.

They do special orders and the warehouse for the store is located in Davis as well so if what you're looking for isn't in-stock they can get it to you asap.
