I always feel secure about my dinner options in a new town when I see the green roof of an Outback Steakhouse. This Outback helped make my stay in Tyler, Tx quite pleasant. I branched out from my regular "Outback Special" and decided to try oven roasted tenderloin with mushroom port wine sauce. I would have expected something like that at a fine dining establishment, not a chain restaurant for under $20. It was DELICIOUS! The steak came with vegetables and a wedge salad, as all the steak entrees do. This relatively new menu item seems like an excellent addition to an already wide selection.
Additionally, the Tyler Outback had strangely courteous service. I expect some down-under hospitality, but these employees were particularly attentive and used some heavily positive language. "I hope you have a PERFECT dinner. Your sever will be here to take EXCELLENT care of you in just a moment." and so on
Definitely a safe bet for a date, business dinner, or a meal by yourself. This Outback even exceeded the high quality I've come to expect.
