The Outback is pretty good. I had never been to one before and I do plan to come back. The mixed drinks---we had plenty----were excellent! I had the Melbourne, a big ass steak and it was so tender and juicy. I do plan to go back. The only gripe I have is regarding parking. The lot is really huge, but they do so much business, it's so hard to find a spot!

I've been coming here since they opened the doors. They are so inconsistent with both the food and the service. On one visit, for whatever reason, we waited an extremely long time for our food on a day that we both happened to be starving. When we asked for a 3rd loaf of bread we were told we couldn't keep asking for bread. LOL Right? Well if you'd bring us some food, we would be eating that. I could go on and on, but I guess if I keep going there, they must not be that terrible huh? I can't resist the Aussie Cheese Fries.

went to dinner at senior citizens hours with the grands, was greeted as i walked through the door with all the servers were late to day so im going to have to seat you it will be a moment i have to find a table for you, not hello wtf? she found a seat quickly , and we just sat there for a while, long enough so that when he did come we were ready to order. ordered and like forever later he brought our drinks and water, no bread, long time later he brings soup and bread, i didnt eat the bread but the potato soup was sooo good creamy with cheese bacon onion and potato chunks, i had the salmon and vegetables which was so god all that other stuff didnt matter. salmon perfectly cook vegetables were really good light sauce no salt needed. the food earned this place an additional star

Outback Steakhouse....Bloomin Onions + Aussie Fries = Austrailian for gas, long term gas. At least the service is good.

How could I forget about Outback? My all time FAVORITE restaurant. Outback is an Australian restaurant that calls french fries by the name, aussie chips. The steaks are good, but they are even better as leftovers for the next day. They are also known for their marshmallow, brown sugar sweet potatoes. Weird mix, but they are absolutely delicious. Their salads are always good and the clam chowder is amazing and a good deal. They just added king crab legs to their menu, but I have to say that they are the best that I have ever tasted in my life. They definitely beat Red Lobster. Of course all the food is good, but what really takes the cake is their Chocolate Thunder from Down Under (brownie sundae). I am a brownie sundae fan and this is the best sundae because Outback uses homemade Blue Bell ice cream. They are the only restaurant in Chicago that serves Blue Bell and that makes them the smartest. Love ya Outback!
