As a former server/bartender at the OGC, I know this place intimately. And if an ex-employee recommends their old business or company, you know it must be doing something right.
The menu is traditional Italian, with a wide array if anything from eggplant to calzones to thin crust pizzas (I still have overwhelming cravings for the Baked Tortellini. It's like crack in the good way.) It is a wonderful restaurant to take kids and families, and the broad menu selection can accommodate the biggest eaters to the infant appetite. The wine selection is appropriately priced and pain-stakingly chosen by the owner, Dino, who loves his wine and loves to talk about it, so if you feel up to it, ask for him. They close on Monday's but are open any other day for dinner only.
If I still lived in the neighborhood, I'd probably consider picking up a shift now and again just for the employee discount.
