I agree with the reviewer who said he was only in it for the money. Granted, I went to see him for cosmetic reasons, but it felt much more like a sales pitch than a consultation. I paid $250 for a 10 minute meeting with him, in which he pitched me a $6000 miracle laser procedure. Never again.

I've been seeing Dr. Ostad for more than 10 years now; he's taken care of some severe skin problems for me and has always treated me with kindness and respect. He is the best, most thorough, thoughtful, and reasonable physician I've ever had. Everyone on his staff is incredibly friendly; his office is state-of-the-art; his fees are actually reasonable, too. He has never been too busy to answer my questions and allay my fears and apprehensions. There is truly no better doctor in New York.

Exceptional staff and facilities. Location is easily accessible from the 6 train at 68th st station.

While I can't vouch for Dr. Ostad as I see his associate Dr. Prosise, I can only assume based on my excellent experiences with her, he is of equal caliber.

My experience was very positive the receptionist greeted me when I arrived. The wait time was reasonable since most times when I go to my internist there is a 45min to 1 hour wait I expected to wait the same.  I was actually called in about 20 mins after I had completed my paperwork.  The staff was professional and friendly and Dr. Ostad was amazing, his bedside manner was great he addressed  and reassured me regarding my concerns.  I have recommended him to several of my friends and they have all been very happy.

Dr. Ostad spent literally under a minute with me.  I came for several reasons all of which he said nothing can be done about it.  And he falsely advertises about all the dermatological services he can provide!  His complaint was with my insurance and that it doesn't pay him enough.  He had the gall to tell me this!  He was quick and rude and noticed a pimple on my chest and said he would fix it for me.  All he did was pop it and now it is bigger and itchy/infected on my chest!  But I refuse to go back to him.   He is the worst doctor I've ever been to.  He is only in it for the money, no caring for his patients.   And he has no expertise in his field.  My advice:  stay away!
