Plain and simple helpful. I love the Ginger products I found four in a nice kit for $22.50. I was in a hurry ( I still had to work out ) and aside from great value I was tempted by the lavender ( real real lavender) selection then by the great fun staff. I would have stayed and spent more but, i was in a rush they still had a great attitude and invited me back.

I feel like this store is trying to break up with me.  Slowly, but surely, they are discontinuing all the products I use.  They still have two products I use on a regular basis, but who knows how long before they drop those too.  Also, the remodel sucks.  I can't SEE anything in here.  Finally, they don't have me "in their system" anymore.  I've shopped in THIS store, at THIS location, for ELEVEN years, at regular intervals, but they LOST me.  Hmmm.... I can take a hint.  I've been thinking about seeing others anyway.  I can get those two things I need at Nordstrom or Macy's. Adieu Origins.

Swung by Origins with my co-worker during lunch in search for the dermabrasion product as we journey through the lifelong quest for eternal beauty.  Anyways, we went in and the saleslady Jennifer was very friendly and talked to us the dermabrasion product and the special size and bundle you could buy the product.  We left the place with a purchase, a few samples and an appointment for a free facial!  Friendly and great service, Jennifer!

These people have a good philosophy about holistic health.  But their skin care products are overpriced and the "special" ingredients are worthless.  I mean, mushrooms?  Come on.  It's nice that the lady gave me a sample and everything, but it made my skin sting.

A lot of the stuff they put in their products are counter-irritants.  That means they cause minor surface irritation in order to distract from a deeper, more serious irritation.  Doctors prescribe them for serious skin ailments.  They don't actually make your skin more healthy.  But anyways, I won't lecture you on this because dermatologist Paula Begoin wrote a great book about this industry called "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me."  Her data is based on scientific research and you'll learn a lot.

I, however, would go even farther and say, "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter."  You are beautiful and you do not need makeup.

Besides that, um, the store is pretty and they play good music.

I have to give the whole Origins line 4 stars.  They have great products and don't test on animals.  Their white tea line has to be the best and it has worked WONDERS on my skin and I have really sensitive skin.  They can be over priced but to me it's worth it.

They also have a stress line that works also.  A good summer scent would be the Gloomaway which smells like grapefruit...very fresh and it wakes you up.  A good winter scent would be the Ginger line.

But I'm a BIG fan of Checks and Balances face wash...it leaves my face fresh and smooth and it takes off my makeup.

I LOVE ORIGINS....4 stars only because it can be costly.
