I'm a lucky gal. I'm not Miss America or anything, but I often get compliments on my hair cut. That's because it suites me--fits my personality and my lifestyle.  I have to send kudos to my hair stylist, Tisha, at Origines Salon.

Tisha and I go way back. When I visited another, un-named hair salon for my first dramatic change from long hair to short about five years ago, I wasn't totally happy with the results. I went to Tisha for help cleaning it up. Her prices were reasonable; she was young and hip. Bonus: the salon had recently donated a client makeover to a survivor of domestic violence. I was working for WEAVE at the time, and wanted to support any business that made a point of giving something back to the community.

Tisha not only cleaned up my first bad hair cut experience, but she has also offered fresh, creative ideas over the years. When I grow tired of a hair style (and I do this more regularly than most), Tisha never fails to work with me to hit on the next fun style.
