1200 Yarmouth AveThis place has a really chic, friendly, and classy atmosphere. This organic-based menu, wines included, offers a variety of tasty dishes that can please any palette. Stop by during the day for a casual "cafeteria-style" lunch or dress it up in the evening with their fine dining. I had such a great time the last time I went there, ordering almost everything on the menu (just to try it out). They some interesting Vegan dishes that were all delicious! The butternut squash dish was definitely a favorite of mine. Its great for people who are gluten-free, Vegan, and/or Organic, or anyone who loves high quality food! Its also romantic and comfortable, so perfect for a special date night too. Prices are reasonable as well, so delay, check it out--I promise you will it will be a truly memorable experience. The type of place that will leave you craving more...
Have to agree with BC, the food here is amazing. I'm not an organic freak either, but I love this place and can't wait to go back!

We went here for lunch because we'd heard such great things. I'm not sure what the fuss is about. The place was near-empty but the service was slow and disorganized. The food (spinach vegetable soup and pizza) was really lackluster. It might be great for dinner, but during the day I'll be going elsewhere.

Organic Orbit is a new organic fine dining restaurant in North Boulder within the same complex as 4580 and Amanti Coffee (Yarmouth & Broadway). Every item on the food menu is organic. Even the wine list boasts 70% organic and biodynamic wines. Now, I'm not an organics-only freak like some of the Subaru-hugging hippies in this town, but I have to say with out question that Organic Orbit has the best food in Boulder. I had the tuna tar tar to start with and a braised turnips for my main course. The tuna, speckled with sesame seeds, was presented beautifully and literally dissolved in my mouth. Every bite was intoxicating. I probably could have ordered two more of these plates and skipped a main course. As a matter of fact, the next time I go there, I just might. The Braised Turnips with roasted acorn squash was also fabulous and truly flavor-full. Dense with flavors. I guess these hippies might be onto something with their organics only ideals. The food just tastes better. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. They have this curvaceous bar topped with one continuous piece of soapstone. Absolutely stunning to look at and fun to run your fingers across. I dig this joint and the people that work there. Even if the prices are a little out of the park, Organic Orbit can certainly justify them...which is hard to say about most places in Boulder.
Other thoughts: during the day, they have a deli counter for all the people that want a healthy lunch to go (or to stay). Plenty of tables inside and out (with a magnificent view of the mountains). It's kind of odd that they have a deli by day and fine dining by night, but frankly, the area needed a place with delicious (and good for you) food that you can get quickly. Subway, which is just around the corner, doesn't even compare. Check out Organic Orbit. I will eat my words if you don't love it.
