Organ Piper is a unique dining experience.  It's essentially a Wurlitzer pipe organ built around a pizza restaurant, where a skilled organist provides entertainment and takes requests (suggest checking the hours that live entertainment is available, it sometimes varies).

Organ Piper went through a phase for a while, years ago, where the pizza tasted more like cardboard than pizza, and many locals - including us - had been avoiding it.  When we had kids, though, we gave it another shot, and the pizza was vastly improved.  It still isn't the best pizza, but it is pretty good, and the entertainment more than makes up for it.

The organ is rigged to handle not only pipes, but also a variety of other soundmaking devices, such as percussion and the ducks.  This is not a restaurant to visit unless you have at LEAST an hour, preferably more like two, to sit and enjoy the show.

Long time establishment over in West Allis. They have a HUGE Wurlitzer. We're talking gigantic. You have to see it in person to appreciate it's size. They player takes requests, lights flash, to me it's an adult Chuck E. Cheese. They have large long community style tables and a few booths. You seat yourself and they only take reservations for parties of 10 or more. You walk up to the counter and order your food. They give you a ticket with a number and you watch the board for your number to light up, just like the old library system. Pizza is your standard fare. They have appetizers as well.  They serve beer and wine and standard cocktails. Nothing fancy here. Great place for groups/families.

What we ordered:

Fried Mushrooms: Standard fried mushrooms served with your typical bottled ranch dressing.

Side Salad: Standard iceburg salad, had some browing to the greens. Again standard bottled dressing.

Pizza: Candian Bacon, Mushroom and Onion pizza. Medium thickness crust nice and crispy. The toppings we're ample. The only complaint I had was there was no parmesan cheese on our table, and because there are no waitresses on duty I had to try and hunt some down from another table. Almost every table I went to had a shaker that was either empty or extremely close to empty. I had to grab three shakers and combine them together to bring one back to our table.

Overall I think most people come here for the fun and atmosphere over the quality of the food. Definitely a place to go at least once, especially if you have a large fun loving group of people to accompany you.
