Oregon has one of the most interesting capitol buildings in the United States. Shaped roughly like a big square edifice with an enormous marble cylinder at the top with a golden pioneer crowning it, the Capitol Building has murals on the facades that show Oregon's pioneer history. The circle of flags and statues of Oregon historial figures was very interesting.
Sadly, we didn't get to go inside, since we arrived around 7:30 on a Friday night. Oops.
