Sitting on roughly 10,000-12,000 square feet of concrete at the entrance to the Clackamette recreational park lies the Oregon City Skatepark in - you guessed it, Oregon City.
The park is all concrete and thankfully allows bikes. Apparently helmets are required but I have yet to see this enforced in any park in Oregon. The park has a nice flow. Lots of transition. Not much pedaling required to get through it.
Following suit with normal procedure, skateboarders will session one object over and over. Typically it's a ledge on the flat portion of the park. That makes your session a little less stressful as it pertains to not needing to look out for skateboarders appearing out of nowhere under your wheels.
There's always quite a bit of jail bait walking around the park as well. Sketchy young kids smoking cigarettes and looking like they're about to be pregnant. I suppose that just comes with the city you're in. Beware.Listed in: Skateparks

I was riding along McLaughlin BLVD one day when I noticed kids riding their boards and bikes here at the skate park. I dropped in to watch the local yokels do their thing. I went home, then came back with my dog and walked around the rest of the park. It was a nice place and I enjoyed going here. I can't wait for the nice weather to kick in gear, so I can go spend a day there.

Watch out for a woman in her 40's that seduces teen boys, gives drugs and alcohol to teens, encourages run aways to move in with her to take care of her children. She is a Predator! She hangs out at the Oregon City skate park. The D.A. and Juvenile department are aware of her but have not been able to prosecute. Just beware of who your children befriend there. Just because she's a mother of 2 young boys and a teen, doesn't mean she's not a predator.
