Great breakfast! Points off for how pricey it is ($30 per person?) but the food is all really great! A buffet line of hot and cold items that changes every day (think it's a 3-day cycle). French toast, eggs benedict, waffles, tons of fresh fruit, juices, cereal, breads, pastries and muffins, an omelet station with a guy that will cook them to order with lots of different ingredients.
There's even a section with steamed fish and rice, pickled vegetables, smoked salmon and other fish - I think they're catering to the many Japanese tourists here, but it's awesome that you can have miso soup, steamed fish and rice for breakfast!
there are also some ala carte items but they're very expensive. If you're not going to get out of there for under $25 I figure you might as werll just go all out for the buffet! I'll definitely get this a couple of times on my next trip to the Orchid, but it's definitely a little pricey for every day of your stay. Plus, I like to sleep in :) -

Decent selection for a breakfast buffet but very expensive for what you get. It is typically $30 per person and I had 20% off.
