I can't belive this is a public course. This place oozes professionalism and care. This has been a particularly dry summer here in the Chicago area, and in spite of it, Orchard Valley still looks like a private course. It's challenging, too. Interesting hazards, some long, strength-only holes and other more challenging short holes, with difficult water traps.
I lost a lot more golf balls than I found here last weekend, but it was still fun. Since we played after October 1, four of us got 18 holes and two carts for $144. An excellent experience!

Orchard Valley is a gem - an amazing value and a wonderful, difficult track that is unrelenting in its challenge. It is very scenic and well maintained. I wish I was a better golfer because I would play this one a lot more often. Simply great.
