191 reviews for Oracle Arena
Venue is great
Parking is WAYYYYYYY too expensive though
Seen a lot of amazing concerts there
but I hate that they even allow ringing bros.
Ringling Bros. are the most dispocable group on the earth
other than those I wouldve given a perfect review
They made this venue look a lot nicer than it used to look. I have been here for numerous occasions ranging from Warriors games to concerts and other events. Last Friday I took my little one to watch Disney on Ice, Princess Classics.
Second row tickets $45, parking $20, bottled soda $5, an LED tiara $16, a spinning LED thingamabob with Cinderella on it $20, daddy/daughter time priceless!
Great venue. The high prices are expected.
I liked my experience here. The arena could be a little larger but in general it suffices.
The drink (alcoholic & non) prices are INSANE. But hey.
Generally speaking I liked it and I'll go back.
I usually come here to watch the Warriors games. Never been here for a concert. Recently I cam to watch the Warriors go up against Memphis. Arena looked nice. I haven't been here for a while. Took BART there, didn't want to pay $15 for parking and another $5 for the Bay Bridge. Parking sounds cheaper than other places!
A few things I DIDN'T like was that you couldn't bring food in. I go to a lot more Giants games at AT&T park and they always let you bring food in. At Oracle Arena I couldn't even bring a bottle of water in. And on top of that I had to go buy a drink, a BOTTLE of Pepsi cost me $5! I work at SFO (San Francisco International Airport) and at the airport we sell bottled soda for $3. Usually the airport is known for jacking up prices, but this was A LOT worst. That's the main thing I hated about the arena.
I've been here for Warriors games & the Britney Spears' Circus concert.
Overall, good arena. Nice design, but poor acoustics.
Parking & alcohol are expensive so I would suggest taking BART.
BART, conveniently, goes directly to the Arena & Coliseum.
The staff is usually nice (you know a venue's review is gonna be bad when it starts with a minor compliment like that). Club section isn't worth the higher price. The view from the 300 section isn't bad (not that I ever expect it to be good.) I've seen a few poptarts here, one of them being Britney (twice!). The location is good, even though the walk is a bit long from BART, but hey, you can't beat a direct BART connection to a music venue. Overall, it's usually a good concert experience to be had at the Oracle Arena.
My only major complaint has to be for the Britney show this year, when my friend and I had to wait in a huge line for an hour, only to find out when we got inside that the Pussycat Dolls had just finished their set. What?! The line wasn't even moving the entire time. They really dropped the ball on that show. OK, I'm changing my rating from 3 stars to 2 just for that-- still mad about it!
We were here on July 10th for the Beyoncé concert. Beyoncé is amazing, beautiful and she puts on a great show. Five stars for Beyoncé, hands down. Entry into the parking lot is a little unorganized, and you're greeted by several lanes with sporadic attendants collecting money, which was $30 for this concert if we're counting. Parking fees obviously vary by artist and Ms. Beyoncé is a big ticket gal. Exiting this lot can be a nightmare if you let it.
We purchased floor seats, but were not front row, and before we could mope about our seats, we realized that the crew had setup a second stage right in front of us, yay! Beyoncé arrived onto the second stage like a graceful cirque wire act, and the real show (at least for us) began. Good quality sound.
The concession stands offer standard concession stand fare: personal pizzas =$9, mediocre, margaritas =$10, on the weaker side, but then again what do you expect from a concession stand?
Overall, I do like the Oracle Area. I've been to a nice variety of shows and they have something to offer every fan base. Ringling Bros., here we come. Haha.
I liked this place, I used to see concerts there when I was a kid. It was called the Oakland Coliseum back then. I hate this trend of naming things after big corporations, so I'm giving it a low rating for that, and for the fact that the acoustics are pretty bad in this place. As an architecture fan i've always liked the design of the building and look of the place too for a big arena that is.
The Arena, which is not what is really pictured in the photo is OK, and huge. I saw the Stones there and it was a good show and the acoustics worked fairly well, but it rained.
Nice renovation, all lower bowl seats are very good. Upper deck stinks - night and day. The Warriors Store is awesome with lots of variety. Comfy padded seats keep your ass happy too.
Negative points for doing stupid things like opening the extra parking gates for Wednesday against the Grizzlies, but closing them Saturday when the Knicks and their poser fans arrive in droves. Or "running out of food" on Opening Day versus the Lakers a few years ago. Were you not expecting a huge home opener against the most popular team with the most front runners in all of the NBA? Morons run this place, so they must be running the Warriors too.
Also a good concert venue - again, stay in the lower bowl.
My second home.
Go there for a Warriors game. If they win, you'll have the time of your life. If they lose, you'll leave the arena dissatisfied. Pretty simple.
Let's go Warriors!!! Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom! I love Warrior games . . . the smell, the excitement, the great vibes from supporting such a subpar team, the sounds of cheers and chanting and the drama! There's no better NBA fan than a Warrior fan.
Oracle Arena has tons of parking, easy accessibility and there are many entrances to the Arena which reduces your wait time in lines. The Oracle Arena is always clean and the seats are somewhat comfortable. Also, if you're lucky, you can sneak down to the lower levels after halftime.
Unfortunately, the Oracle Arena is not like Pacbell Park as there some really bad seats you can get stuck with. Choose wisely grrrllllasssshoppaaa! I remember for one of the Warriors games, we sat so high that we were above the speakers of the Arena! We couldn't even understand what the commentator was saying during the game!
I wouldn't buy any food or drinks at the Arena . . . as you shouldn't at any sporting events. You could probably buy a 6 pack of microbrew beer for the price of one domestic at the Arena. RIP OFF! This is the norm though . . . even at movie theatres.
Oracle Arena is a great place to check out the Warriors and if you haven't watched the Warriors play live at the Arena, I highly recommend it. I just miss the days when the Warriors played at HP Pavilion in SJ.
A couple friends and I went to see the Britney Spears concert last night at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Granted, I have been to this venue many times and have never had problems, but last night its shit was a mess.
When we arrived, the line to get inside was already pretty long. I thought this was odd only because I had never had to wait in line like that for a concert/show before. Nonetheless, we followed suit and waited the 15-20 minutes it took to reach the front. Once we finally got there, they scanned all three of our tickets and told us that it wasn't working; we were instructed to go back down to the box office.
Furious, we marched downstairs and had to wait in yet another line to get things straightened out. People were shoving, and in disarray; nobody knew where the hell they were going. We finally got to the front of the line after body slamming a few people for cutting and were offered a free upgrade for reasons unknown to me.
Don't get me wrong, we were appreciative of the tickets. But what would have been helpful is if they had some sort of system that let us bypass the line, which was now EVEN LONGER.
After another long wait, we finally made it in. We walked around desperately searching for the hall to turn in to for our seats, but to no avail. There were no signs for our specific seating assignment. After walking around for 10 minutes or so, and being pointed in different directions, we finally stumbled on the right entrance and settled into our seats.
Seeing a concert is always a production, but come on, it's this kinda stuff that makes me not want to go at all! Thank God Brit Brit made up for everything. She's back, bitches!
I saw Beyonce here and her performance was on point, but I have to say that I have my reservations about the Oracle. The bar line is massively long, the bathrooms are gross, and the sound was ear deafening. I don't dig ear ringing when I leave an event and I think Oracle needs to simmer down now.
I have seen a few shows here and I have to say that I am quite impressed. I was lucky enough to see the last NIN show that was played here and it was an absolutely phenomenal show. The concession stands are clean and the bar is kept up pretty well. I can not comment on the prices of food/drinks but I imagine they are on the pricier side like most big venues. Parking is very easy. If you don't feel like parking at the coliseum you can opt for parking at the bart station thats just within walking distance. Though Oakland is out of my way, I'd much rather see shows here than at Shoreline.
My favorite venue for music.
I saw the Mary J Blige/Jayz with opening act The Dream here and it stands as my favorite venue for a show. The staff is awesome, they enforce the rules but also get down. They allow the concert goers to have fun, chill and even bust a move with us on the floor but also keep things in order. They don't trip for you to take pictures or even blaze.
Had a great time on the floor, everything was organized and chairs were not packed super close to each other.
Def looking to hit up more concerts there!
Also I love checking out the Warriors when I can.
Oracle Arena is my family's venue to watch the Golden State Warriors, concerts, shows and other events and performances...and so are the other people as well. But on March 27th, one event that many people didn't wanted to attend and unfortunately did to mourned the loss of the four slained Oakland Police officers, who were finally peacefully laid to rest.
I'm sure many of you have been following the recent adverse occurence in the city of Oakland, and the city of Oakland and the entire Oakland Police Department couldn't found a better venue to organize a funeral for the slained officers. The arena's maximum capacity holds to 19,000. The entire Oakland Police Department officers and staffs attended the funeral. Other officers from the various parts of California and the nation also attended and filled the Oracle Arena.
I worked a graveyard shift from the night before. My close friend, who is a member of the SWAT team for San Francisco Police, called me and asked me if I wanted to attend the ceremony. I wanted to say, "no" because I had a long morning from working the graveyard shift from the night before, plus I personally don't know anybody from OPD including the four fallen officers. But I gutted out and went over there anyway.
When we got to the arena, the weather was very nice, but the line was "super" long with officers from various agencies and many grateful citizens trying to get into the arena and pay the last respects to the fallen officers. Thank goodness, that McAfee Coliseum is located steps away from the overflooded arena. The funeral and ceremony were also held there accommodate others who couldn't get in.
"Fine, my friend and I are going over there and watch the ceremony in the sun!"

Matt has been to the Oakland Arena many times mainly to watch Matt's Golden States Warriors play.… Read more »
My good friend Chris invited me to a Warriors game in his company's catered box, complete with fajitas, chicken wings and an open bar, and of course I accepted. I'm not a huge basketball fan, but I try not to to turn down free booze and food.
But when I drove up to the parking gate to pay their ridiculous $20 parking fee, all I had was a $100 bill, which they wouldn't take. I only had a Benjamin because:
1) earlier in the day when I got cash at the Safeway I was trying to be nice to the cashier who was running low on $20s, and
2) THAT'S HOW I ROLL, BITCH.
So apparently, they have a rule about not taking anything larger than a $20. They don't post that information anywhere and they are first tier assholes about enforcing it. The gate guy helpfully suggested that there was a gas station with an ATM up the street at 66th and San Leandro St. He didn't appreciate my remark that that wasn't gonna work, cause I left my bulletproof vest at home. (SHUT UP, I'm kidding, I love Oakland, you know that.)
But he did call his supervisor over who told me that when I came back through the gate, I should come through the limousine line and look for him and he would speed me through.
So I went and got a few $20s at the crack-station, and came back through the limousine line, but supervisor man was nowhere to be found, nor was anyone else, so I just drove on through and parked. Free o' charge.
That, my peeps, is gate-gouging dick-head karma.
The Warriors, man. That's what Oracle is all about. The food is bad and overpriced, the beer is mediocre and overpriced, and the seats are uncomfortable and overpriced, but it's got one thing that no other place in the Bay Area has: the Warriors.
I remember the days when Thunder would rock the house, bringing the crowd to a roaring frenzy as he jettisoned t-shirts into the stands as if they were NOTHING, man. That was before Oklahoma City stole our Thunder, as it were.
A couple improvements I'd like to see at Oracle: Bosh in 2010. You read it here first.
Well, I'm a Warriors fan and would like to catch their game when possible. I've been to the games a few times. It's always a good atmosphere because the Bay Area Fans really are passionate about the game!
The good things: Great place to watch a NBA game. Parking is good. Fun to watch a game when it's competitive.
The bad things: Food quality is average. Food can be expensive for what you're paying for. Seats are average. The Warriors need to show improvement year over year....
If you want a good time and enjoy watching NBA basketball, you'll love the experience!
Turd Hole.
A) Parking - $25 for "special events." The only thing special about that is the bleeding from the back end.
B) Special Nachos - 9 bucks and the kid runs out of guac, so he just hands it to me... uhhhh... got get some more, thanks. He comes back to tell me it's all frozen. Right O skippy... discount? No can do! Thanks for playing!
I'll pass on the Oracle Arena. Apparently, getting screwed is not just for database service anymore.
Came to see the Warriors play against the Knicks and gotta say, for some reason the court seemed so SMALL (and we were sitting in section 108).
5 stars for the arena being located so close to an In -N- Out burger.
5 stars for having Redhook ESB on tap and some damn good chicken tenders (can't remember where we bought grub that night).
4 stars for being so close to the 880 fwy.
3 stars for the so-so bathrooms and limited variety of places / things to eat.
3 stars for the $15 parking. I know it has been much higher in other places.
2 stars for the narrow, crowded walkways inside the arena.
1 star for the horrible amount of time it took to get out of the parking lot.
Now remember, I'm a scientist (as reflected in my BevMo! review) not a mathematician, so I'm not sure that the number of stars I've awarded are in line with my assessment of this place.
All in all, if there is a game being played and I'm in town, I'll still go!
Not too great for a professional sports stadium. The team has basically no history in the NBA and is flooded with Bay Area Band Wagoners from the 1st round exit upset.
Went here for a couple LA games. Not surprised by the large amount of LA fans.
You know, I just received one of those email updates from our friends @ Nine Inch Nails--groovy concert pix from their tour. We caught their show at Oracle back in September.
Which reminds me: Holy freaking shit! What's with the $25 parking?!? I mean, I realize I might deserve a little smack on the behind for screaming some lyrics that are not repeatable in front of Grandma (and/or those with a 'proper upbringing') while in attendance of this particular concert. But really, 25 bucks for parking--JUST parking? Now that, my friends, is obscene!
Bite me Oracle Arena for making me feel like a complete fuckwit--because you know I've been back since and will continue to return for more. That is NOT 'A-OK.'

Chased ozzy/zombie here from Stockton two nights befor , I like this arena , clean , staff seem to really know how to handle a concert crowd.
seeing that i really do not see many great bands being booked into the nor-cal area ,i normally will go all out on the ones we go to ,no more than 5 rows from front , hell ya only live one time. bit pricey but when you have a great show,i not only pay to get blasted by the sound but we want to feel it. oracle has this going on , kudos to ever the hell sets these things up.
The area around oracle was a bit on the creepy side,so no bars this time.
So last night we attended the Britney Spears concert. We were so excited all of us being HUGE Britney fans as well as The Pussycat Dolls. When we arrived we noticed a HUGE! line of people. We were thinking ok that is that Will Call line? or the line to get in? Then we notice it's the will call line. So we see the line to get inside which was RIDICULOUS! you would think it was a line for a meet and greet. We got there around 7:40 which shocked us to see the line so big since the concert started at 8.
The line was dead stop was not moving at all. We finally see the line start to move at 7:55! But it was barely moving it seemed they were letting 2 people in at a time every 10 min. By the time we started to get close to the doors people were so pissed that they were rushing the door pushing each other. I seen people jumping over plants, garbage cans and even moving the garbage cans. The employee's had no control they weren't trying to direct the line in anyway. I myself have bad anxiety and asthma. From being so closed in I started to have a really bad anxiety attack and small asthma attack. There were a bunch of little kids who could have been trampled on from everyone pushing. Security and employee's were not doing anything.
After we finally got in after an hour wait in line we missed The Pussycat Dolls. We got to our seats just in time because Britney was just about to come out.
Then During the middle of the concert we decided we wanted to get something to eat. But to notice that the food stands were closed! We were standing in line for one of them and they tell us very rudely they were closed. The only thing open was the bar. Which took forever to get a drink. I've been to Oracle many times being a huge Warrior fan. I have never experienced anything like this before. Everyone is always so nice and friendly except this time they were all very rude and very unorganized. Thank goodness Britney made up for it! I hope Oracle reads this and explains their reasons for their actions because it was RIDICULOUS!
I went to see the Britney Spears concert here a few weeks ago. It took about 30 minutes to get from the freeway exit to the parking lot. We decided to park close to the exit so it was easier to get out later. The line to go inside was not too long so we got in pretty quickly. I had a brand new bottled water in my purse, but they didn't want me to take it in, but once I past the security, I opened it and started drinking some and eventually I just took it in. They didn't allow cameras though.
It was pretty hot once we got inside the halls. I couldn't imagine if people had to evacuate this place in an emergency as the venue was pretty packed. Lines for the alcohol wasn't too long, but mixed drinks were not good. Luckily I didn't have to go the bathroom at all as I didn't wanna deal with the lines. The concert was okay. Didn't like that they had a huge 360 degree screen on top of the stage that it blocked some of our view.
Great venue, the arena and stadium are both relatively new. The food, seating arrangement, sound system, and people working there make all my experiences worthwhile at the arena.
Agree with previous review, park at the BART station to avoid traffic and paying $$$. I think it might actually take the same amount of time to get on the freeway if you were to park at bart and their parking lot. The parking lot gets soooo crowded after a game and the merge back on 880 is a nightmare.
I knocked off one star because each time where there's a game/event, it creates maaaad traffic on 880.
Decent sized venue...we came here for a Warriors game. The food like any other ballpark/stadium was outrageously expensive. Not to mention they really really enforce the no outside food/drinks rule. Sheesh! At least at other places I've managed to bring in water.
The walk over was tainted with sketchy characters reeking of marijuana. If you want to get a contact high, just hang out on the walkway between BART and the Arena...
#896
Saw Nirvana play here in 1994. The iconic rock band of my generation, yo.
This place is cavernous and echoey for concerts, and not much different for sporting events.
I haven't been to too many games here, but I did see Robert "the Ghost" Guerrero fight here one time against Gamaliel Diaz. The Ghost is one of the greatest boxers ever to emerge from the rough-and-tumble streets of Gilroy, in case you were wondering.
As major west coast arenas go, I'd rank this place behind Staples Center in LA, HP Pavillion in San Jose, and Arco Arena in Sacramento. Its not quite as conveniently located as the Bill Graham Center in San Francisco, but it seems to draw bigger events than either that place or San Diego Sports Arena, at least as far as I can tell.
Not bad. Came here for the american idol season 8 concerert on july 11th. Seemed like every seat was close enough for a good view. The parking was ridiculous the previous concert in sacramento and the next night in san jose were like 5-10$ parking but oracle was 30$. Also the snack bar was kind of gross.
Paying X amount for warriors/celtics tickets: -1 star
Seeing the face of my bf when he realizes he gets to watch his favorite nba player ever, KG (that praying mantis looking mofo): +1 star
Taking BART directly to the stadium: +1 star
Drinking beers at an insane price of $8.50 per cup: -1 star
...But seeing your bf buzzed off 2 cups: +2 stars
Watching the Warriors beat the Celtics: +1 star
Doing it at the Oracle Arena, which is a pretty kick ass stadium with decent bathrooms and easy to understand seating: 5 STARS!
...Sitting in front of a loud ass heckler: - 1 star
"That ain't no foul!"
"Aww dere go Baby."
"Come on Powe, show me watchchu got"
"Baby is 6'9, 275 pounds. You tellin me I can't take him."
4 stars.
Great venue! Albeit, not perfect. I've been here numerous times to watch the Golden State Warriors play, and each time has been a blast! This arena is a nice size for basketball games...not sure how it would be for concerts, but I hope to find out first hand some day.
Food and beverages here are wayyy overpriced, but what sports arena doesn't do that?? Also, many people complain about the parking lot fee and traffic on the way out, but there is a money-saving and time-saving alternative if you aren't lazy: you can park at the Coliseum BART parking lot across the street for FREE, and avoid traffic! The only downside to that is it is about a ten minute walk to The Oracle, but who cares! You save money, time, and even get some exercise out of it. There is always an abundance of parking spaces there...and my car has been safe there every time (*knock on wood*). Also, I've never had to deal with traffic getting out, even when I left right after the game had ended.
As far as the venue itself, it is very ambient and full of energy thanks to the passionate fans. Beautiful girls flock around everywhere you go...and that is never a bad thing!! Great experiences here always. Now if only a better product could be put out on the court! For NBA games, this spot deserves 5 stars! My rating for this venue as a whole is incomplete because as I mentioned before, I have never attended concerts at this location.
What makes Oracle Arena one of the perfect sports entertainment center in the bay area?
- clean clean seats and areas
- good food
- plenty of beer stations (CRUCIAL)
- free stuff
- friendly workers and fans from everywhere
- the electrifying moments that get the crowd all up and cheering in unison
- ease to get to, with BART just right there.
- the Golden State Warriors!
I think Steph C definitely knows all bout the greatness that is here at Oracle Arena. I'm always down to catch a game here and it's fun each time i come even if the Warriors have some bad games. it's an experience for the fans and the crowds and the energy shared with the players.
Dear Moses its a long ass walk to here from the BART station. I like how Oracle is right off the freeway and its easy to see. Aesthetically, the outside doesn't look all that nice, but since I'm from the East Bay I pass by this place a lot and have grown accustomed to the Coliseum exit and BART station. Staples Center looks a lot better than this place.
As far as seats go, the upper deck has a decent view of the floor. The arena is generally clean and the lines for food aren't that long if you go at the right time. I don't like the fact that if you sit at the very top row, that you cannot see directly across the arena where the other nosebleed patrons are. It'd be nice to get a full view of all the fans, especially when everyone is on their feet cheering their butts off.
The food could be a little better. Their hot dogs are not quite worth the money, but then again coliseum food is never cheap. I also split an order of chicken tenders & fries with my homie, and the tenders were dry and overcooked.
So the food is alright, the venue is clean, the stadium on the outside could look better, but the atmosphere is pretty cool because theres many fans that are into the Warriors. Plus the Warriors beat the Clippers sans Baron Davis. What a douche. I was looking forward to this game and he doesn't play because he broke his tailbone. Douche.
Cheerio.
I came here fort he GS warriors.
Halftime is completely crazy for food. I waited about 30-40 minutes and missed the whole 3rd quarter! The ladies were taking the sweet time serving people but I was so hungry, I didn't want to leave. I think it's best to eat before hand (pig out in the parking lot) and hide food in your jackets!
Other than the food issue, I say it's worth going for the experience. Look for deals on the website for cheap tickets/packages that come occasionally.
GO WARRIORS!
Through the good times and the bad. Gotta support my team!
This place can get rowdy as hell! Nose bleed seats is where the rowdy fans are at, I LOVE IT.
Take BART, drink all you want till the 3rd quarter then sober up all the way back.
Among countless visits, been here twice in the last week for OASIS and then again for "Not So Silent Night" (KILLERS, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, FRANZ FERDINAND, BLOC PARTY) & can say that out of the Bay Area indoor venues, Oracle Arena rocks
SUPER easy to get to - heck, it's even an official BART stop! Parking lots are usually pretty empty - but they charge a ridiculous $25 fee......so just park across the street at the BART station for FREE if you need to drive :-)
Lines move quickly to get in - no drastic hassle to pat you down; Ushers are really friendly & laid back unlike those found at *cough cough* HP Pavilion (Please take lessons here!)
Seats are nicely spaced as far as heads in front but are a little close together - be prepared for shoulder rubbing. Also be prepared to get your ass up & contorted every time someone wants to walk past you as your knees directly hit the seat in front & simply standing does not allow those to pass - you practically need to hoist yourself into the next row
But as far as views from your seat, they're really good & I think the sound quality is super, if not a bit loud - even w/ earplugs. I mean come on, my ears are still ringing from the Killers....the Killers? Really??
The one thing missing from Oracle that would have popped it to 5 Stars for me would be Garlic Fries........there are none & these delicacies are an imperative to my overall concert enjoyment. You instead offer hot dogs & burgers that smell up the Arena like old, stale grease - bleck.
In all fairness though, I will say that I have not found *any* indoor venue that offers the Garlic Fries.....BUT YOU ALL SHOULD!
So out of all the huge & massive Bay Area venues, this would be my fav - add the Garlic Fries & we'd be talking LURVE
This arena has great atmosphere, awesome fans, and a great team to watch -GSW. Aside from the basketball game itself...You can count on being constantly entertained.....from the warrior girls, to the jump team, to hiphop kiddies, to chinese acrobats, to parachuting best buy gift cards flying from the sky..to the excitement of defeating the 2008 world champions last nite. The place went bananas in the 4th qtr. Time definately flies when you're at a warriors game. Great game last nite, let's hope they keep up the momentum!
The only reason i wouldn't give this place a 5 star...is bc some of the fans can get a bit nasty. Yes, I understand some fun in heckling opponents fans at the game...but cmon now...when someone comes and pays to watch a game, let's not try to pick fights with them, regardless of how annoying they may be. (and i must admit....boston fans i would have to say are the worst).
I've been here many times throughout the year. My review is of the LIVE 105 NOT SO SILENT NIGHT concert that was here on 12/11/08.
Let's see. Oracle served up some good beer-was kinda pricey but that's what you'd expect at an event like this right?
I came straight from work, and missed Franz Ferdinand, and Jacks Mana whatever you call em. I did see Bloc Party when i first arrived and got to see All of Death Cab for Cutie and the entire AWESOME performance that THE KILLERS put on. I met up with a friend and her friends and had a great time. I'd love to do it again.
We didn't sit in our seats and sat with her friends un the lower area where i've sat before at warriors games. I enjoyed it and when you get a lil older you realize that being in the crowd with all the kids is kinda played out. Lots of good times spent there and people of all ages. I'll be back for another concert soon.
4 out of 5 stars is my review of NOT SO SILENT NIGHT 2008 at oracle arena

YES, B.Diddy left us for that other socal team.
YES, Monta stupidly fell of his moped and is suspended for 30 games.
YES, every player we trade away does 10x better at the next team.
YES, we lost on opening night...again.
BUT, watching the warriors at Oracle Arena is still my favorite thing to do. Something about the buzz in the air on opening night. Free shirts, free signs, and this year Supreme Soul from ABDC opened things up http://static.px.yelp....
Let's go warriors, LET'S GO! *clap* *clap* http://static.px.yelp....
Sea of Yellow http://static.px.yelp.... Felt almost like a playoff game from 2 years ago when every fan was on their feet for the better half of the 4th quarter.
Take Note: Guaranteed action to any guy who impresses me by taking me on a date to a warriors game. Okay, maybe not guaranteed - but highly likely. HA. Extra brownie points if you score me a seat on a courtside folding chair!!!
