My family and I went there Saturday nite. Ordered short ribs, hubby, sis and son got the seafood combo and soup for my Eza. We are a bit disappointed cuz the salad tasted like tuna salad. I told my sister what the heck i'm expecting simple macaroni like LnL Hawaiian in Tennyson, Hayward. Did not finished the salad but of course love the ribs (the marination of the meat is good, not too dry) and rice.
I star for the food, service and place (clean).

Ono.... hmmm was that katsu sauce or sweet and sour?
Not sure.. .but I don't really like my katsu sauce sweet.... not sure if he just gave me the wrong stuff or what... but that was weird....
the spam musubi's weren't bad.... but maybe even that is beyond min-wage earners ability to mess up.
shrug... there are enough other hawaiian-wannabe places out there for me to try than to go back here... sorry...
the people were polite though.... and the service was decently fast.
Large portions, reasonable prices.
Very Clean eating area inside.
We had the BBQ chicken, Teriyaki chicken (the BBQ chicken with more sauce on it) and the Mahi Mahi fish sticks.
The Mahi Mahi fish sticks were very good with a light sweet flavor inside the breaded outside.
The macaroni salad was very good as well, with salmon mixed in. Never had that combination before and liked it a lot.
Service was prompt and polite when we were there and I was offered more sauce if I wanted it and went back twice for more Teriyaki sauce. We were eating inside and enjoyed it.
Will go back for sure . . .

When I'm missing the islands and need a little fix with some Spam Masubi, I usually go here. I also have tried their BBQ Beef masubi and it's pretty good. I typically don't like the chicken katsu although it looks great on their menu board.
There's always plenty of seating and you'll typically have to park closer to Circuit City. The food is consistent and the service is decent. The most recent time I went here was for lunch and they do a great job of keeping tables clean.

this place is good to start tasting the Hawaiian food style and know how do the portions have to be for the big people.
i had the chicken katsu and i get 2 spoons of steamed rice one of salad and like more than 1/4 pound of chicken katsu.
the place is good to eat there it has plenty of tables for those who like to eat there, the colors of the place makes you feel young and chill.

I absolutely love their bbq chicken salad with their special dressing. The portion is huge and the price is decent. Their food overall is pretty good. However, their service is horrible!! The staff is more concerned chatting with each other than to help the customers. Most of the time, they were slow and unhelpful. Then one time, they forgot to put the dressings with salad when I did take-out. By the time I discover the missing dressing, I was already at the office. I like their food, but hate their service.
Although it's a standard Hawaiian BBQ chain, the service was just ugh. I ordered my food and everyone else behind me got their food first. Big portions though and very convenient since it's on the way home. But it stays true to it's name...Oh...no....
