We had an EXCELLENT experience at 1Stop!  We looked feverishly for some patio furniture for my birthday party this past weekend, only to find VERY limited selections around town and at a VERY steep price.  We are in a rental downtown, so we did not want to spend a ton on a set that we planned on keeping forever, BUT we still have taste that tends to be on the more expensive side.  We went to four other places that day and then decided to try one more shop before just picking a set we were "ok" with from what we had seen that day. Time was running out and it didn't seem that we were going to fall in love with anything in time to have it for our party, so we were running up against a rock and a hard place.

We had purposefully left One Stop as our last option because a) we did not want to drive all the way to Miramar and b) it frankly seemed like a cheesy place that kept popping up on every search we did....I gotta say the SEO tactics were kinda working against them in our opinion...BUT we are so glad we decided to go there!!

It was a Sunday afternoon and my birthday was the coming Saturday (less than a week) and we had to have our patio fully furnished for it.  We not only found two sets that we absolutely LOVED at this place, but they were also reasonably priced, great quality, AND available on such short notice for my party.  There were also a lot of unique pieces of indoor furniture that really caught my eye.  We found the customer service to be excellent.  Paul assisted us with the transaction, offering us to "try a set out" for the weekend during our party just to make sure we were happy and furnished for our event and if we did not like one of them, we could return/exchange for another set.  Luckily we loved them both and everything was perfect and we are keeping both!   The delivery guys did a great job, too - even helped us clean the glass table tops and set everything up how we wanted it.

Our experience from start to finish and with every aspect could not have gone better and I would HIGHLY recommend One Stop.  GO THERE.

My husband and I recently bought some patio furniture here. We found this place in yelp driving around on a sunday stroll. We spent a few hours in this store deciding on which set we wanted for our patio. Finally we got a set. The lady who helped us was nice and I liked a lot of the furniture in the store for sure quality!

Now comes the reason this place did not get 5 stars. We had a little problem with the delivery guy being rude. We went to the store and got it handled with one of the owners. He gave us some money off our order which was nice.

We won't recieve our furniture till the middle of February so I can't say how the delivery actually is going to go till then. Probably the best patio furniture in San Diego but it is a little costly. You do get what you pay for though!

This place deserves a solid 2 star rating and definitely not more. Overall, great in-store experience to coax you into buying their furniture. Shortly after you will feel like the crud on the bottom of 1Stop's shoe...they simply do not care..they already got your $$$$.

My boyfriend and I found this place after searching on craigslist. After a visit to their site, I was convinced that this was some shady spot, in some hidden away alley (they should really update their site).
But fret not, because the actual store is well..an actual store. We met Lee who kindly gave us advice and did not pressure us or follow us around the store (take note Jeromes). When we were picking out the fabric of our couch, Lee was very knowledgeable about the fabrics and picked up on the style we were aiming for.
We used a Yelp Check-In to get free delivery and mentioned that we saw there was a Yelp discount available. If it were not for those two things, I do not think we would have purchased something from here. Our Palmer Sofa with a Chaise was in the $1600 range. After the discount, it was in the slightly higher than Mor's range.

After the in-store transactions, that is where their customer service slips. I was notified (via email from mackenzie) that our order was placed a good 5 days after we were in the store. When I emailed back asking for an update on the status of the couch, I got no response. I then called the store and spoke to a Lindsey and was told she would call me back as soon as she knew. Days later I still had no call back. I was left feeling like I spent $1400 on a  item that may or may not show up--not a good feeling.

Surprisingly, I got a call from delivery men a week later. They wanted a 3hr window in which I would be home TOMORROW to delivery the couch. I oblige and take off work just to accommodate them. After sitting at home for 3.5hrs, it became obvious to me that they were not coming. As I was heading out, I got a call from the driver saying they were 10mins away. I turn back around to let them in. After a debacle where Patrick and his buddy tried to hoist my couch up 3floors from the balcony (I was so nervous...about $1400 nervous) they decided it wouldn't work and went up the stairs. They plopped my pieces in the living room and asked for me to sign some paperwork. No setting up. No removing any plastic (see my pic I added). Is this because I got free delivery? Or is this how their delivery always works?
Friendly service while shopping and poor customer service thereafter.

UPDATE: was contacted by Paul, I think he is one of the owners. He seemed to genuinely care about his customers and his business image. He sent me a nice gift and gift card and promised that they would work to fix the communication problems. Also I found out that the free Yelp check-in for delivery gets you the standard delivery, you gotta pay more for the "deluxe" one with the setup. Overall, they do care about their customers, but in my particular case I fell through the cracks.

Excellent experience with the furniture delivery persons (Justin and a team member) who arrived at our home. Justin seemed to be very knowledgeable and very professional.

Relatively poor experience with the furniture delivery person who scheduled the delivery. It may be just me but I found him very rude as he was arguing and in the end banged his phone to end the call as he was not friendly at all during the conversation. I was wondering if I should just cancel my order just because this person was so rude. Anyways, it was too late. In the end, the actual delivery people were good - so it is all fine. But someone needs to talk to the person who was on the phone to be more professional.

As far as buying experience goes - overall it was good but we later on found that the quotes given to us for the furniture by the sales people at the 1-stop-furniture store were much higher than what 1-stop-furniture had on their own website!! It was unbelievable. We were not aware that the prices are posted on their website. We cannot comprehend why at the store the quote was much much higher ($500) and we worked hard to negotiate them down. In the end we purchased the furniture after negotiating (at that time we did not know about the website pricing) But it may be a little unethical to post different price on the website, and then quote us a different price.

Overall it was all good. Thanks.

Ok, need to update this experience.  An updated rating needs to given to the store.  Paul sent me an email asking to talk to him about the experience.  I was a little surprise about actually getting this email.  Gave him a call and had a gentleman's conversation about the issue.  As with any review there are three parts of the story.  Theirs; Mine; and somewhere in between is the actual story.  I have to give a much more positive input based on Paul actually taking the time on calling a customer a couple weeks after the fact and inquiring about the problem.  As previously stated in my remarks, the store as a lot of great looking furniture at reasonable prices, but needed to comment on my experience.  Hence the reason there is reviews on the internet.  While shopping for the sofa, I was actually looking at some additional patio furniture for my house that they had in the store.  However, based on my previous experience I was leaning toward no.  Based on the email and phone call I have tentatively changed my mind.  Paul also said when I come back to talk to him and give the store another try.  The lure was cast and it looks very tempting now.  Thanks for the follow-up it goes a long way.

    Cheers, W

This was my second time purchasing furniture from 1 stop. The selection was amazing and the show room was beautiful. My sales girl Daphne was extremely helpful and understood what I was looking for and I am sooooo satisfied with my purchase! My delivery was right on time and the the delivery guys were professional. I would recommend this store to everyone and will never shop for furniture any where else again...or at least until I move out of town!

We recently moved to San Diego (Mission Valley) fairly recently and were looking for furniture stores around our area online. We've been to several. They were all typical. The salespeople circle and strike, hoping for a quick sale. Often, they have little knowledge of the products they are selling. We bought a few things we were looking for but still needed a mattress. We extended our search and found 1 Stop Furniture Warehouse. They had great reviews online, unlike most furniture places in our area. We decided to check it out.

1 Stop Furniture Warehouse is a family owned business. Their sales people don't receive commission. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and don't pressure their customers. We were able to find the perfect mattress at a great price! Their  selection of other furniture was of excellent quality and style as well.

After the sale was completed, they pointed us in the direction of their warehouse, right down the street. We found that they also had great furniture available there too, at a fraction of the retail cost. We also bought two chairs there!

Overall, it was an excellent experience and I can personally recommend 1 Stop Furniture Warehouse to anyone looking for great furniture for an excellent price. We will go there first whenever we are looking to purchase more furniture.

The bulk of their selection can be found in their catalogues. However, they try to have at least one piece, on the floor, from each manufacturer so that you can get a feeling of the make!

Michael B was super helpful! Not pushy & will help you find the style you're looking for.

We went to many different places & they by far had the biggest selection.
We were looking for something more modern & went w/ the Loft collection.

Plus, you don't have to put anything together!!

Thank you Paul for all of your help in setting us up with an awesome patio set - we are very pleased with the level of service and sales style that you offered us.  I am really glad that I found you on Craigslist and that we ended up purchasing from your business.  I am giving 5 stars based on: your selection, the quality of the outdoor furniture, sunbrella cushions, overall customer service and the ease of it being in stock and that I did not have to order anything and wait.

    Thanks again for your kindness!

My wife and I were in the market for a new bed and new sectional as we're expecting a new member. We picked a Saturday to head out to furniture mecca, my wife making the agenda. I had no idea 1 stop existed but indeed that was the 1 stop she wanted to make first.

As we walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the store, layout, and selection. It didn't have that stuffy furniture store feel. Like you were being swallowed by the leftover set furntire from the Real Housewives of Orange County. Yes, I've seen it.

The first couch we saw would be the couch we bought, even after hours of surching other stores. After sitting on it for a short while we were greeted by Angel, an energetic saleswoman. Angel gave us plenty of space to look on our own and provided multiple options. Overall, my wife and I were extremely happy with the customer service.

I believe the price was resonable as well. We went to 4 or 5 stores that day. None of them having the style we exactly wanted, and all were more expensive. We felt 1 stop had more modern fabrics and styles, fitting exactly what we wanted, for about 30% less than what we saw at other custom furniture stores.

As for satisfaction with the end product, I'll provide an update once we get it in a few weeks. We'll see how the customization works out...tough when the two purchasing the item have differing opinions of what is comfortable.

I had a bad experience with this place and do not recommend it. Hence the name...one stop. No repeat customer from us.

    Issues:
-lack of communication on backed order items
-we had to do a lot of follow up on our order
-the delivery people was not professional. They were offered water, but insisted on soda or something else other than water. we don't have soda in the house.
-the item that we purchased stinks of chemicals that were used as coating or to stain the wood.
-customer service was piss poor when we return the item due to the chemical smell and possible tipping over. The warning was stated with the furniture after delivery and the store did not let us know when we made the purchase.
-they charged a steep restocking fee and pick up fee.
-we were treated rudely when we went to the store to return the item.

In short, we will never shop there nor recommend.

The sales people were nice and helpful.  Unfortunately the desk I bought was a bit dissapointing. I was told there would be "some assembly" but there was definitely more than "some."  This thing was harder to put together than something from Ikea!  I am a single female but pretty handy.  Anyway, it took hours to put together and I can think of much better things to do with my time.  I suppose the only redeeming quality was that I used a $200 off Groupon.  There is no way I would have been happy paying $430 for a Ikea quality desk.

This place truly lives up to it's name. We were on a tight budget and needed furniture. Furthermore, we just moved into a house that's oddly shaped, and we couldn't figure out how to set it up! All we knew was that we wanted to center our room around this HUGE colorful original oil canvas painting we bought in Hanoi, Vietnam.
After visiting about 20 different furniture places-- we walked into 1 stop Furniture and Angel greeted us. It was so nice to finally get someone helping us who really had a creative, energetic vibe about her. The girl is an AMAZING designer. She basically just asked me, bottom line, what was my budget. I showed her a video on my iPhone of our room and showed pics of our painting. She helped me choose a couch, 2 comfy chairs, and this incredibly sick green rug -- and all for under budget!!!! The discounts at this place are unheard of for CUSTOM furniture!! The way she helped me pick out the fabrics to match my painting were so helpful. She even set up a model of what my room would look like while I was there! The room is going to look fantastic and totally affordable!!!

!!!BUYER BEWARE OF CHICKEN MCNUGGET SOFAS!!!
Yes, they exist.  I recently purchased a "leather" sectional from 1 Stop Furniture Warehouse for $1695 before tax and & $1952.13 total.  I only considered this retailer because of the positive reviews on this web-site.  I would agree with most of the reviewers, i.e. the owner Art is helpful, good selection, etc.  So, what is the problem? ETHICS AND QUALITY ARE the problem.  My nightmare began the evening the couch was delivered to my home.  My husband and I noticed a strong odor coming from the sofa - a mixture of rotting flesh and chemicals.  It wasn't that old fashion leather smell.  In fact, the odor was so strong, we left the cushions in the garage for two days. So I investigated, and was told that I actually purchased a "Bonded Leather" sofa.  I never heard of bonded leather furniture before this transaction. Therefore, I DID NOT ASK at the time of the sale if what I was purchasing was "Genuine" leather, AND THEY DID NOT TELL. In case you aren't familiar with bonded leather, the manufacturer uses a hybrid material made of cowhide scraps and vinyl (you can find details at http://en.wikipedia.or...).  The cowhide scraps are manipulated to resemble the back side of genuine leather (I assume the source of the rotting flesh smell) and the vinyl (polyurethane) is the top coat.    Somehow furniture retailers are able to pass this off as "leather" because they aren't calling it "Genuine leather".  Initially, I was very concerned that the chemicals and toxins from the vinyl would pose a medical threat to my son who is an asthmatic. I spoke to his allergist and they felt I need not worry.  Perhaps I was overreacting because I just watched the Toxic America series on CNN which featured a town full of cancer patients that are believed to be victims of a local polyurethane plant. Nevertheless, I still wanted to return the sofa or get some type of store credit because I genuinely felt I paid way too much for a bonded leather sofa.  Subsequently, I saw a competitor's commercial advertising a bonded leather sectional for $799 (By the way, I applaud them for having the balls to tell the customer upfront the sectional is bonded leather -Bravo)  Additionally, Macy's had a comparable 100% leather sectional for around the same price.  Art's response was, their (i.e. the competitors) sofas are made in China.  I really don't know why that justifies a huge price hike considering the nauseating odor coming from the couch and the sub-standard cushions with each of them split open and the polyurethane stuffing spilling over once you unzip the cushions.  I don't feel this is the kind of quality that justifies a 200%+ difference in cost.  Art's response may be it was a custom ordered and he has a no refund policy of custom furniture - really?  There wasn't anything special about my order.  In fact, we stuck to what the manufacturer had as options (e.g. choice of wood on the feet, the length and position of the chaise). Nothing special, just the standard-manufacturer options presented to me.   In conclusion, Art refused to refund my money or offer any store credit because he stands by his product and policy.  He even blamed me for not being responsible enough to question the materials considering my son is an asthmatic when I first voiced my concerns. I tried disputing the transactions through my credit card company to no avail. because I signed the delivery order. I was told there wasn't much that could be done due to the stores refund policy on custom orders.  If anyone can offer legal advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.  BOTTOM LINE - QUESTION, QUESTION AND QUESTION SOME MORE, INSPECT FLOOR SAMPLES AT THE STORE and OPEN THE CUSHIONS. IF YOU HAVE ALLERGY CONCERNS, ASK TO SEE SOMETHING DOCUMENTING WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED.  REALIZE THEY DO NOT OFFER WARRANTIES -EVEN IKEA HAS A 10 YEAR WARRANTY ON THEIR SOFAS.  If you are in the market for a "Genuine leather" sofa, be sure to check the floor model - open the cushions, take a whiff, and ask if it is genuine leather. Perhaps 1 Stop Furniture Warehouse will do the right thing and disclose the type of faux leather their pushing off to consumers on their web-site and in the store..  THIS WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON I LEARNED AND HOPEFULLY NONE OF YOU WILL MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I DID.
*****Paul R. - Please check your facts.  The last time I spoke to Art, he rescinded his offer to return the item because I learned the "bonded leather" wasn't believed to have an effect on my son's health.  He refused to offer a return based on "principle" alone and he stated he already had one in the showroom.  GOOD TRY

My husband and I had been searching for a mattress religiously for almost 2 weeks... and we always saw their ad in the weekly circular.  We'd save it, but somehow our visit was always pushed (for other stuff like patio furniture). we FINALLY got to go today!

We drove up to the place thinking 'wow who would've thought a furniture place would be in an industrial area..' but after walking in you can really see the floor is covered with house furnishings to buy: sofas, coffee/end tables, mattresses, patio furniture, accessories, etc.  I liked that it was kind of a '1 stop shop,'.. and actually found myself looking at other things than what we initially came for - our mattress!

As soon as we walked in Bethany greeted us and asked what we were looking for.  She showed us some of their highest selling mattresses (no, they weren't vera wang serta's or 'beautyrest'), but some other brand we never heard of.  After explaining and showing us around for a little bit, she left us alone so we could figure which ones we liked/wanted.  After laying on a few of them, another gentleman comes up to greet us - Art!  This guy is beyond knowledgeable... and he only talked to us about MATTRESSES!  haha.  He was able to explain everything to me in laymen terms so I could understand - unlike other stores my husband and I have visited.  Both he and Bethany were NOT pushy sales people, we LOVED that most!  At other places people would follow us around and try to push us into leaving with a mattress.  Even though they were getting ready to close, they let us take our time in trying out all the mattresses.

We purchased our mattress (which we haven't received yet, but not to worry i'll more than likely update this review after we've had it for a couple months) and are so excited to receive it!  We were able to compromise, and the bed we purchased was the best bang for our buck!  It beats what we were gonna pay at other stores (Even with 'OUT THE DOOR' prices) and the service was WAY better.

Would I recommend this place?  Absolutely!  We're definitely going back to look at some patio furniture (and maybe a couple other things too) when our budget allows :)

I searched everywhere for a loft bed for my daughter.  We found one a while back and the business is now gone!  She was heart broken.  When we got to 1 Stop Furniture and told them what we were looking for, they found it right away and gave us several other options that she loved, too.  They ordered her bed (her original choice) had it in stock and are sending it out with someone to put it together, all in a week.  We both are so excited.  The staff there was so easy to work with and they knew their stuff.

Thanks to yelp steering us in the right direction once again, my buddy and I found this hidden gem while shopping for sectionals.  We were on a quest for the perfect, cozy, upscale, deep, comfy, chocolate microfiber sectional on this good Friday for around $1500.  Done and done.  Almost every sofa in the store can be custom ordered in the fabric of your choice.  It takes 7-10 days for a custom order and delivery is only $79 (depending on how much stuff you buy).  Skylar is great and doesn't creep me out like most fast talking sales people.  I'm thinking of going back to get a new sofa for myself soon.

If you buy multiple items they can work with you on the price as well so don't be shy either. The wife and I loved it and we recommend talking to Paul or Skylar since they were so helpful.

I was really pleased with the service and the furniture here. My husband and I went in looking for bedroom furniture. Right when we walked in we were greeted and told not to worry, no one would follow us around, a common furniture store problem. The staff was very available when we had questions an wanted to place an order.

We ordered two nightstands and a chest and the price was very reasonable. We ordered on a Sunday and our furniture was delivered the following Saturday and it's beautiful in our space.

If you are looking for high quality, inexpensive, outdoor furniture, this is the place to go. Although we realized it was out of season, we were driving along Miramar Road looking for a place to buy outdoor furniture for our new home. Then we noticed a sign on the road that advertised "Patio furniture-discount Prices" ....and we followed the trail. Once inside this warehouse we were greeted by pleasant salespeople who were helpful but not "pushy". They told us all about their product lines and availability and left us to research what we wanted. We didn't buy right away,  but instead went home and checked online, as well as several other stores. We were amazed to find out that they were by far the least expensive (by about $1000) than any other place. We returned the next day and met the owner, Paul, who was very nice and accommodating. We are expecting our delivery any day. It was an smooth transaction without any hassles. We will definitely return in the future for all our other furniture needs as we found out that they sell all other kinds of furniture as well.
Thanks to everyone that helped us there!

I absolutely loved my experience w/ 1 Stop Furniture Warehouse.  I went in only able to afford a bedroom set, but walked out with not only my bedroom set, but also my outdoor furniture set as well.  I go there time & time again to pick up items as needed, and would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants affordable QUALITY items.

I hate shopping for couches. I cant makeup my mind and I am always worried about spending too much on something that I might not like in a year. My girlfriend literally had to drag me into this location after seeing their ad.
I really hate the high pressure environment that the large, more well known furniture stores employ - you know what I mean - your practically attacked the minute you walk in the door and someone is on you every time you look at something on the floor. Then there is the huddle of sales persons eyeballing you the whole time you are in the store.
I am happy to say there is none of that at 1 Stop. After wandering around the showroom, Paul introduced himself and asked if we had any questions - and we did. Paul sat down on a couch across from us and answered what must have seemed like 100 questions, colors, quality, recommendations, differences between this one and that one and the one over there, scotchguarding, delivery and the most important - price. Paul was a complete professional the whole time. We were honest about what we were looking for and what we were willing to spend, he worked with us and we walked out knowing that we got a great deal. Check out their website too as there is much more there that I did not see on the floor the day I was there. I highly recommend these guys, they'll take care of you.

I went here recently due to the reviews on here. I went out of my way actually because I was hoping to get a great deal on an awesome bed. I needed two sets actually. I walked in with my youngest son and all sales people were busy, so I started looking around....The beds and furniture were decent. BUT...there was one guy on the floor that never once acknowledged me or asked if I had questions. He spoke to every single person AROUND me, even looked at me a few times...I would say I was there about 20 minutes and after watching him help people who walked in after me, I left. I can't stand poor customer service and would never recommend this place to anyone, in fact, I am more liklely to tell people about my negative experience. I went the next day to a place 15 min from me and bought the beds I wanted. They missed a sure sale because I was buying beds I NEEDED not browsing.

i couldnt give zero, i spent just over 3 grand on several small items. everything i bought I was told was in the midrange quality. not the low end "ikea junk "  I would happily trade it all back if they took returns on this shit. It is all falling apart 4 months later. I am very careful with my stuff. this is shit product.

One of the best furniture stores in San Diego. They have a great selection and they honestly have the best prices. We shopped around a lot for furniture and we couldn't find better prices than theirs (even on the internet!). The staff is amazing! They are extremely helpful and very patient (we went back and changed our minds for the style of dinning room set about 3 times before we finally made a decision). They work so hard to find exactly what your style is and make sure they find what you want. Also my favorite thing is that everything comes in very quick and in great condition! They are very honest and will tell you if something will match or not. so far we got our dining room set and bedroom set from them and we will definitely be back.

Be warned- perhaps patio furniture is okay here but do not buy one of their off brand mattresses.  I made the mistake of buying a pillow top king with a low profile box spring.  Delivery was was a big hassle as they brought the wrong foundation and the driver said no problem;  they would deliver the correct one.  Later the store said it was my mistake and If I wanted the right one I would have to pick it up myself. (now thats great service) After a back and forth email discussion they finally agreed to the swap.  But the real kicker is, here we are 20 months post mattress purchase and this wonderful mattress (the non flipping kind) has huge sagging areas and is useless so we just dropped a grand on a quality mattress from a different store.  Must admit I didn't try to enforce the warranty on as I figured it would be a huge waste of time after my experience with the initial delivery. Steer clear of this place unless you need very, very short term furniture.

We recently were looking for a dining table and after looking online decided to look at 1 Stop Furniture. We are so glad that we did! Paul helped us out and showed us their selection, which wasn't much. We had found a color and  a manufacturer that we liked so he showed us their catalog and took the time to explain all of our options. Price was a huge factor in the decision and Paul helped us find a table that we liked and delivered it for only $25.00! We were told it would be 1-3 weeks for delivery since it wasn't in stock but we had it in less than a week. It was pretty easy to put together and looks great. We will definitely go back.

We really had a good experience buying a new queen foam mattress here, we liked that the salesperson, Mike, was very down to earth, friendly and generally "kept it real." He let us take our time and did not pressure us. He let us bargain and discuss and didn't try to sell us anything we did not need, i.e., box spring or bed or bedroom set. We'll be back when we have more money to spend on furniture -- we have a pretty old couch and the time to replace it is coming soon, we will come here first to look around when that day comes. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because the 2-hour delivery window turned out to be almost 4 hours, I know sometimes traffic, etc. affects these things -- still, I think considering that it is San Diego and there is traffic, etc., they should just tell you it's a 3-4 hour delivery window to give themselves enough time and not raise expectations. We purchased our mattress on 5/9 and had it on 5/11, so far it's very comfortable.
