There is nowhere to eat on the Rush/Stroger campus. If for some awful reason I am without a lunch, the options include: Subway, Sbarro, Dunks, or Au Bon Pain. I think there is also a sushi place near the Admin building, but that scares me.
A lunch of donuts and shitty coffee is never a good idea. Au Bon Pain is not my friend. Subway is my best bet.
But Sbarro's in On the Mall? Eek. The yesteryears of my mall-bound youth came flooding back to me during a much needed escape from the office/coworker bitch sesh. Did I really eat this stuff? How can pizza be that bad? How do they make it soggily thin, yet impossible to cut? I am baffled.
I do like that it houses a Bank of America ATM. That's what I like about it.

Super-convenient location, gotta say. But the little hot dog stand in the corner seems to make everything fresh, which is good on one hand, but always means a long wait. It's quicker to grab pizza from Sbarro.

This is a really convenient place for lunch if you go to school or work on the west campus of UIC. They have Sbarro which is like my favorite pizza! They've also got decent coffee and drinks and its right next to the Polk St Blue line stop so its easy to pop in on your way to work or your way home!
