      Is there a entry charge?

      A:

Yes. It's usually $50-150, depending on the night. Add on top the $15 per drink, and the extra cash to bribe the security guards.

Had a great experience when I checked out omnia recently we ended up getting a great table for less than the online pricing via host Brian Pfeiffer 773-459-8133. This was the first time using him, he met us at the front and walked us in make sure we were happy overall a great time

The 4 stars is due to the massive crowd of Omnia but Brian was a 5 star and the best to goto a club like this is with VIP.

      Long over do review ...

First time I came was when they first open up in 2015. Since it was so new, it was great. Seven Lions was playing July 4th week and he was awesome, getting in was no problem. No wait, drinks were fairly price and strong. Overall, had a fun time.

Came back again in November 2015 to see Andrew Rayel and it was still just as fun. It wasn't pack, was able to dance and move around the dance floor. Not packed like sardines compare to other places. Second floor had some tables to stand around and drink/chill. Overall, another fun time.

Next time I came back was for my friends birthday weekend in September 2017. This time they had a deal with your ticket purchase. If you come before 10pm, you get to go to their AYCE buffet. This was a first I ever heard of it. Since my friends and I wanted to try, we had to pregame hella early so we can make it in before 10pm to see this buffet. The buffet was on the second floor and I have to say it's pretty smart marketing cuz the buffet was ALL CARBS dishes. Our fatasses ate up all the food and by the time we were done, we all sober up and had to purchase a ton of drinks to keep the night rolling before the main dj came out. I felt like the drinks were more expensive and less alcohol than the last time I went. Had to buy ourself more drinks than usually. I suggest you don't do the buffet cuz some of my friends got really bad diarrhea ... As for dance floor, it was so crowded, we couldn't move at all and the second floor was just as bad. It was way too crowded. Also if you do guest list, good luck. Just buy the ticket for $30 bucks and save you the trouble. Had some friends who didn't want to waste money on the ticket and waited in the guest line. Took them over 1+ hours just to get in while the ticket line just walked in. Too old to wait in guest list now.

Overall as NOVA pretty Fun, super over crowded only one way in and out the dance floor. Drinks are super over priced . Guys are not allowed to wear shorts but girls are ,
Like hmm ok , dress code is only for guys I guess . As a SD local I'm sure I'll be back , but just pre game hard before u come in as a drink is about $30

Nice vibes and people. Beautiful and cozy nightclub.
The dancefloor doesn't have much space, so it's super crowded. If you end up jumping up and down chances are that you'll be stomping on someone's feet. Some staff were kind of rude, so be aware. Overall, the music was a great experience. I went to see Steve Aoki, and you can really feel the hard bass kicks. My concern is that since the speakers are so close to the dancefloor, there's a drastic change in stereo balance if you stand on the right or left side of the dancefloor. Though that's just me being nitpicky. Not the best system set up if I'm comparing to previous concerts I've been to. All in all, pretty lit club.

Place has been closed for months and month even though their website states the club would reopen in April of 2021

Which is clearly a lie as they are still closed

And literally every single nightclub is San Diego is open besides Omnia. So whatever excuse they are presenting is bullshit because then all the other clubs in Gaslamp would also be closed

Omnia as a company have been noticeable silent on the matter and clearly don't care enough about customer service to update their website

Lazy, poor customer and poor business standards

Definitely avoid this place if it ever opens up again

Celebrated my birthday here last year! This club One of My favorite clubs in San Diego! ;) EDM
Music is always the best! I love the set up of the tables where girls can stand and dance on the top without having guards telling us to get down! I love how I can just dance on the top of the table so freely like I own the dance floor! I love how I can let go of myself and just dance with the music and not worrying of anything else. This is my number one favorite club in San Diego by far!

What an insane night that was! Thank you Yelp, Discotech for an amazing Friday night experience at Omnia. Right from checking in at 9, the experience was beyond awesome. We entered the top floor to find an open bar waiting for us and we could have some awesome Vodka and Tequila cocktails in peace. There was no rush, the servers were friendly and chatty, there was place to lounge about and the music was pumpin'! Omnia had set up a nice video booth to capture memories and have fun. We enjoyed the dance floor after 10 but the terrace remained out favorite part of the night! Will definitely suggest Omnia and using Discotech to find yourself a perfect dance out night!
Just an advice though, women's bathrooms need more stalls than men's for sure.

I think this place is cool. Both times I visited there was a roof over my head to protect me from outside elements, loud music being played by a DJ I paid to come see, lots of strangers to talk to but mostly not talk to because I was with friends, and the usual things you'd find at a club like this (long lines for the restroom, expensive drinks, creeps, etc).

Bouncers definitely have an eye out for people especially for those who get too drunk they can't stand and end up drinking the mouthwash in the restroom thinking it's Cool Blue flavored Gatorade.

I was pretty surprised that they gave my friends and I all the water we wanted for free at the bar whenever we asked! According to some Yelpers, they were charged for their water.

Also, skip the buffet - the food was lame. Unless you're intoxicated and your taste buds are taking a break, then ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SKIP THE BUFFET! THERE'S SO MUCH FOOD!!

Omnia San Diego felt very reminiscent of it's older sister in Las Vegas. Although not as big as it's Vegas counterpart, it still oozed luxury and glam. My boyfriend and I bought our $20 +fees ticket online, which also came with buffet access.

For they buffet, they had bowtie pasta, cheese wedges, assorted veggies, salad, and biscuits. The food was ok, nothing to rave about really. I was half expecting them to serve us a gourmet meal because Omnia is such a luxurious club --I would probably skip the buffet next time.

The drinks at the outdoor terrance were pretty weak. I had a long island and a half and barely felt a buzz. I'm pretty light weight when it comes to alcohol, so this was disappointing. Pro tip: make sure to pregame beforehand!

The venue itself was great. The dance floor was decently sized, but of course gets packed as the night progresses. At some point the bouncers wouldn't let us on the dance floor due to capacity. No worries, we just went up to the balcony and danced there, with plenty of space. We also got to hang out at one of the balcony tables that wasn't being utilized so we got perfect view of the DJ and dance floor. We also were able to sit down on the couches without security kicking us off! Yippie!

For my first time at Omnia SD, it was a good experience, despite some downfalls. I would consider coming back, only after I check out the other night clubs in Gaslamp =).

Loved it when it was Omnia.. hate management change to nova.. everything sucks from vip hosts to operations management.. will not bring out of town guests here anymore .. just awful service! I used to do vip nightclub hosting in Norcal.. San Jose n San Francisco so I know bad service in a club when I see it! Update: Ali the general manager of the club Nova that used to be known as Omnia called me back and was very professional and efficient in how my matter was handled over the phone.. he made sure that I was thoroughly satisfied with the outcome of the matter.. as such I am updating my rating to 4 stars
